this show is brutal, Mowana is a psycho and really has nothing in common with T, neighter did stoner, she’s a llittle kid with nothing to offer an MD. Last night was without a doubt some of the best home town date action I have ever seen. It seemed like the ONLY date that went somewhat well was Sarah from Tennessee. And I used to like Susan but after last night…I just think she is so fake. My husband and I were counting how many times her eyes stole a glance INTO the cameras during the Duke Gardens scene. That whole date seemed so coreographed.

Being a teacher myself, I have to say that I’m pulling for Nashville to win. I agree with Lincee that ABC has been trying to keep us distracted from the relationship that has obviously been there between Mc and Nash. Now that we’re down to 3 we get to see why he has been keeping her around. She is the only logical choice left. Mc must have room for about one more breakdown from Mowana before he figures out she does this often, and he has to notice that Susan’s “lines” sound an awful lot like a soap tryout(and she keeps looking straight into the camera for everything including kissing and right after kissing!). I say we boycott any program that actually hires her becuase of her obvious agenda!!! Long live teachers!!!

Well, I have to say it. I don’t think Dr. McHottie is all that much of a catch. Sure he’s good looking (ok reaaalllly good looking), but I’ve never heard someone talk SO MUCH and say SO LITTLE! (Although that could be said about e/o on the show . . .) And how did this guy get through college and med school? He just seems kind of simple to me.

I have not spoken about the “show” at any time, however after last night’s episode I HAVE to say something. It is continually surprising me how distorted and misrepresented my life has been over the past month. It took so much to fight against the grain of the controlled environment to maintain individual and concise thinking. However, I cannot and will not tolerate the gross misrepresentation of my family. My parents are extremely grounded, sincere and objective people. They are very influential and respected. To that point, I am absolutely shocked that an entire day can be reduced to five minutes of poorly chopped and edited scrutiny. I can handle that they were concerned and skeptical, however the rude and uninviting way that they were representing is a complete farce. The opinions of viewers have shifted so drastically in the past weeks from one side to the other due to manipulative editing, and it is obvious that the “greater good” of the powers that be is simply entertainment, not representing any realistic form of truth….
I noticed Travis’ toe thing at the park too, but I’m a toe freak. It wasn’t pretty.

Susan should have never done this show because it reveals how terrible she is at acting (at first I liked her..but every since the smitten kitten comment…please). Mohana looks like she got her heart pounded on in a previous relationship, which would explain her aloofness before and her breakdown last night. And finally, I think ABC is trying to be ‘tricky’ with the clips on Sarah and Stork, keep making us think they are just ‘friends’ it worked with Andrew and Jenn.

Did Travis really not understand why Stoner Sarah was upset about him dating three other woman? I mean really, if the situation were reversed, would Travis be okay with Sarah visiting him, kissing him and then running off to cheat on him while he knows it three more times! I wonder about that contract. I bet it just forbids them from talking about the results . . . she clearly did not in the blog she posted. She just stood up for her family, which I admire. The editing of the show totally can portray people in such an incorrect light and she was just trying to clarify the role of her family in her life. I’m not sure she’s in any violation. Howdy y’all, my first time posting. I started reading these updates a couple of seasons ago over my wife’s shoulder to see what she was laughing so hysterically at (we’re friends of a friend of Linsee’s). Started watching the show after that.
I like Sarah TN the best as well, but 2 things from last night bother me about her. First of all, I don’t understand why she’s upset at the thought of leaving Nashville. Did she know Travis lived there before the show started, or was she just expecting whoever the bachelor was to pack up and move to Nashville if he picked her? I suspect it might actually be the later from a line her aunt (I think) said “If Sarah’s not happy, nobody’s happy.”
That set off a warning bell in the back of my head.
I have a hundred things I need to be doing in preparation for the OK HS State Swimming Championships, but my hand is frozen to my mouse in anticipation…guess I could clean off the top of my desk, but that would be too much like work. I know you have to work Lincee…as do the rest of us….luckily I can’t be fired from cleaning my house and all of my other non-paying volunteer jobs as I eagerly await your wit.

Susan must not live in the same city as her parents…hence the hotel room.
I can understand why she wouldn’t bring Travis to the town where she lives if none of her family would be there…kinda defeats the purpose.

What was with Susan’s family? Stork, note to self, if someone’s own parents don’t like them, then they must be really terrible! My favorite was when the Doc and Susan’s mom were talking. She is obviously trying to tell him to stay the hell away from her crazy, self-obbessed, wanna be actress daughter yet he takes it as, “hey her mom just doesn’t want her to date yet” yeah, hey Travis, this is your brain talking try to listen to me and not your buddy in your pants, this girl has got to go!”

I thought Moana’s family was HORRIBLE!!!!! I can’t believe Travis wouldn’t dump her after her dad just treated him like something on the bottom of his shoe. I think Mowana’s dad’s skepticism is “right on”. Any father should be very skeptical of his daughter goin on a TV show and falling in love after a couple of weeks.

I think that the dinner with Moaning Moana’s parents had to be edited. Nobody could possibly treat someone they just met so coldly. What bothered me is that MM didn’t even stand up for him. She just left him to fend for himself without any help. She signed up for the show just like he did, so if Cruella the Stepmother has a problem with his views on marriage, then she needs to turn her finger on MM too.
How can you let someone you are having Jerry-Maguire-like moments with just be fed to the wolves like that. I sure would have jumped in to stand up for him!! Had to be edited!!

Does anyone else feel like there is a TOTAL lack of chemistry between Nashville and McStork? She is my favorite of the remaining girls, but I’m just not sure its gonna happen. Susan is WAY too ridiculous with the always looking for the cameras around her (sad that even her parents know that) and Moana is just too unstable. BUT I say she’s still on BECAUSE of the emotional video – what guy could be the one to turn her away right after that?! He’d feel guilty for years.

I think her entire monologue in the Duke Gardens was read off cue-cards the ABC intern was holding.
Obvioulsy her parents think she is just in it for the fame/glory/rebound. As someone else stated, I think they are fed up with her “acting.”
Also, did anyone else notice SHE never said she was engaged previously, just that “she was in a relationship?” Obviously she’s trying to hold on just a little bit longer.
My vote is for TN — she seems very real!

Has anyone else heard that Susan’s mother ends up going to Paris? And if so…what for?
I don’t even watch The Bachelor (makes me cringe too much), but I’ve been enjoying Lincee’s recaps for the past few weeks thanks to a mention on the RT message boards. Honestly, I’m thinking about watching the remaining episodes just because everyone here has been saying how much funnier this blog is when you do.
Regarding Susan in the garden–if the glass is already full, why would you need to pour water into it? Why did he say that she knew exactly what she meant? Was he trying ot get her to stop that moronic analogy? What did she mean? And why is she homeless? Why did she talk to her mother that way? I would have grounded her for that kind of behavior, but that would assume she has a room to go to.
As far an Moawana goes–I think he likes the “crying girl. It appears to turn him on. He thinks depressed equals deep. He said early on that she was “mysterious” That is the number one quality guys want in their women. He will pick Moawana for the finale. I am sure of it. It is what he is into.
No wonder McHottie is still single, look at his taste in women!

I’ll go ahead and put in my 2 cents while I wait impatiently: Sarah is growing on me…I am going to root for her by default…I think she kind of favors Elisabeth Shue…Susan needs to cut it with the Oh-so-cheesey lines that she stole from All My Children and Mowanna just scares me…When Travis finally wakes up and gives her the boot, the producers at ABC should be sure to send her away with a personal escort whose only job is to ensure that she does not cause harm to herself or any of the other contestants…
I was completely shocked that Sarah Canabis was the one to go last night…she looks much better than Mowanna when she’s all disheveled and upset…

Okay. . first of all. . Mowana is one step away from Bellevue!! In the amount of time it took to watch 2 hours of really bad American Idol auditions, She went from not really “feeling” McHottie to choking out, “I know if I give you a piece of me, you’ll be careful with it”!!! WHAT?? Is she a freaking nick-nack? Put her in a glass case and forget her!! As for our little Dazed-and-Confused-Canadian-Ragweed, it’s hard to stay grounded when you’re high all of the time sweetheart!! Age 10 more years and call me in the morning! Susan. There are no words! You all saw her look straight at the camera, and when she wasn’t doing that, she was checking herself out on the nearby monitors! WOW!! I thought I was watching the new season of “I Want to be a Soap Star” on Soapnet. I practiced that same monologue in the bathroom mirror when I was a teenager! So that leaves Sarah Nashville. . the runaway bride! Wasn’t feeling her in the beginning, not feeling her now (even though I agree w/ ya’ll. her Dad was precious). Lincee is the only thing making this season for me (as always). So, I say for next season. . Bring back Dr. Rotting Eggs as the new Bachlorette. She’ll make every Bachelor take a fertility test to find out who will be eliminated! My guess. . there would be a lot of men in hottubs wearing speedos!! Lincee. . First of all – Was it just me or did the Nashville date last wayyyyyyyyyyyy longer than the other ones? I find it odd that it lasted so long when all I heard the entire time was how weird it was that they were both from Nashville! I mean, please, get over it! We get it – it should be less weird to you now that you’ve said that 5,000 times. Seriously, I heard nothing else on their date.
The families – I felt so sorry for Travis – this was the season of the horrible hometown dates I think! I was cringing most of the time – like Moana’s dad – I mean….. please….. when Travis was trying to be nice he did not crack even crack a smile!!! How horrible – uh, sir, hello? Do you realize you are on national TV? You are being very rude.
Sarah TN’s dad – aka the most boring person alive – I almost fell asleep during the Nashville date I was so bored. Except for whenever he opened his mouth – whatever came out of it was so awfully lame and boring that it was enough to make me laugh and prevent me from going comatose!
Susan in the park – when they were having their moments did any of you guys notice that she kept looking at the camera – as if to say, “This is my good side” or “I’m ready for my close-up”. I felt like their whole little kissing scene was her audition for Passions. And I’m sorry, I’m just not buying the fact that she’s really into Travis. Also, I like how the fact that she was engaged before (and recently too) was just brushed over – the prior marriage news sent Jehan packing. But no one blinked an eye that Susan was on the rebound – can you imagine if Travis was your rebound guy? Wow. I’m thinking she was engaged to some pro-athlete. With all this said, I think sadly she’s my favorite – so either she’s really great for him or an awesome actress either way, you know that we haven’t seen the last of her. She’ll be joining Colby from Survivor on Gilette commercials and guest spots on Reba any day now.
Glad he sent student Sarah packing – she’s too young – Travis only got more points in my book from recognizing this fact. And still lives at home full time. No thank you to that. Also, if you’ll note, I think she was the only one who did not wear a blazer of some sort on their hometown date – so maybe that’s why she got the boot – I think it was a requirement….

STRAIGHT GUY # 2- I’m so with you on Susan’s parents throwing her under the bus. We were so perplexed by her evil troll mother. Did you catch the “what if someone is acting b/c all guys want them and they brush them all aside?”? Wow!
Also, Stoner Sara had the most precious kind mother. And Nashville had very kind parents as well. I give the Sarahs’ the best family visits by a mile. I don’t know if Moana’s dad or Susan’s mother is more awful. Poor Moana, that dad was so ignorant the way he repeatedly answered “uh hmmm.”
Three things: 1) thanks to my friend Holly for turning me on to this site 2) I liked Moana’s Stray Cats hair, at least it’s not bleach-blonde Barbie like most of them and 3) is anyone else waiting for a Bachelor to propose marriage, and for the chosen Bachelorette to say “no thanks, dude, I pick Chris!”, then they run off together?
