#17 Marla Call me a freak, I am kinda liking the whole farmer deal. It is interesting to see how the girls act when they aren’t all drinking huge quantities of alcohol! Plus the fact is … unlike the bachelor the girls get to see the guy on the farm, where he really lives and interacts with the people in his community. (Of course, I grew up on a farm! I through bales of hay on the back of the truck, plucked chickens and fed goats, rabbits, cows and horses! (I do not miss the chickens!) I like the no glamour angle!

I wonder how “class” those shots are. I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t want him to pick Shayne but then I freely admit that she did grow on me. I especially liked that she admitted that she is high maintenance. But honestly, I don’t see it lasting. None of the others have. I think HTC Brad was right in his descision. I think that mag cover is hysterical. I don’t think for one second that dear little Matty thought he was getting an innocent little school girl. I would imagine that he knew she was going to do the mag cover anyway…and for some reason, I am doubting he put up much of a protest. I would be mortified if my daughter showed her “butt cleavage” in a magazine (or anywhere for that matter) but then again, I would have been mortified to watch my daugther making out with a virtual stranger on national television.

Just my observation. If they had been reserved and not all over each other the whole way through I would not have noticed any difference. I was wondering if it was because he had just found out about the magazine cover….?

Maybe after the Byron/Mary fight post ATFR last season, they decided it was best to just leave it at the proposal.
# 50, I do think that article is very much “anti-Shayne”, and i dont especially agree with it. I just thought it was interesting because it addressed the GGW cover. I dont think that ABC is especially out to get Brad either, but I dont doubt that they will use his “i have to tell you goodbye” speech alot more than he ever imagined they would last fall when everything transpired… he seemed like he might want to put it all behind him (also he declined to go to the Where are They Now).
