God has had me in the Refiner's fire for the past few months, and He really used the devotional on Psalm 23 to remind me that I need to stay close to Him during this time. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us - I rarely find myself going from the verge of tears to laughing out loud, but you manage to find a way to accomplish just that. I am absolutely amazed at how He has used a "guilty pleasure" of mine (watching the Bachelor/ Bacholorette) into a chance to hear from Him. I loved that you shared the devotional from your pastor regarding the sheep/Shepherd. I am in the midst of a struggle to rely on the Great Shepherd. I so want to but I haven't been doing so lately. Inevitably, this just brings stress/distress. How very perfect to turn to this site for entertainment value and find God speaking to me, even here!
