T-shirts are now sold out. Thanks for all of your support. Don’t worry if you didn’t get one this morning. I’m sure you can find them on EBAY or Craig’s list if you search hard enough. It’s inevitable that they will be collector’s items by the end of the day.
How great was last night? Can I get an amen?!?! So much drama and heartache and emotion and tears. Last night is why we watch this show ladies and gentlemen. Take out the 19 million commercials and waste of six minutes recapping at the beginning and you have a pretty good episode! So good that my friends Jill and Susan, who were watching with me, decided to play a good old fashioned game of leap frog in the front yard in celebratory bliss!
However, with the appropriate kick to the curb of Graham, I’m not sure it’s going to be the most entertaining thing to watch in the upcoming weeks. I’m forced to look for the remaining silver linings.
1. Jesse’s totally rad one liners are the bomb.
2. Jeremy’s chest is nice to look at.

SIMPLE DISCLAIMER
The following information you are about to read is of personal opinion. You probably aren’t even reading this because the simple disclaimer has been a part of my recap since the days I emailed this puppy to just a few of my closer friends. HA! Fooled you. You’ve skipped this amusing mockery and will not know what in the world your friends are talking about when they say, “Did you like the new disclaimer Lincee did?” However, if you or someone on your Facebook page happens to personally know, sort of know, know the brother/cousin of, thought you saw in the grocery store buying Spring Oreos or have a Jazzercise instructor that looks exactly like one of the Bachelors on the show…none of this is personal and I’m sure they are all lovely people.
Clearly after editing this episode, ABC had about 14 minutes of dead time they needed to fill in order to run for the two hour time slot they had been allotted. When in doubt…play extended commercials promoting WIPEOUT (which I immediately set my DVR to record). When all else fails, RECAP!
Hey…just a quick FYI…did everyone know that DDAHnna was left at the Home Depot Proposal Podium last year? She totally knows what the boys are going through and understands the importance of meeting someone’s family. She is shocked that there are such strong feelings for each one and is puzzled about how she cares for all of them in different ways.
Here’s a brief wrap-up of what DDAHnna shared with America…
DD’s thoughts on Jeremy
“I gave the first impression rose to Jeremy. But then he held back. It wasn’t until Dodger Stadium that I found out he had lost his parents. That is a bond we share. He’s hot. I’m hot. That’s another bond. Oh…and we’ve both lost our parents. I love his abs. He loves my boobs. Those are both on the torso part of your body, so that’s almost the same. What’s the count up to? About 20 things in common? He’s competitive. That ticks me off and make me more competitive, which is similar. He’s really good looking. I’m America’s sweetheart. There’s a bond. And we both know what it’s like to have lost a mother. See? The list goes on and on.”
DD’s thoughts on Jesse
“I wasn’t sure what to think about Jess when he came up to me in that ridiculous suit. But he touched my arm when he sang and that was special. After seeing him on an ATV, I became totally attracted to him. He’s the only guy that has not jumped my bones to kiss me, and I’m not sure why that is because I’m so cute, but I can only conclude that he’s scared that I’ll dump him. And I know what that feels like because, maybe you haven’t heard, but I was in that same predicament with evil Brad Womack. But Jesse is not that way at all. He’s more like that sweet kid brother of your friend that you realize grew up when you went away to college. But I’m not sure if he’s past the kegger phase. I need someone who is going to savor his bourbon and Coke. Is he ready for that commitment? I don’t know. But I would like to know what his tongue tastes like.”
DD’s thoughts on Jason“He is sincere and a wonderful guy. I’m totally fine with him having a son. Although I’m a little worried that the kid would trump me in the future and I’ve made it pretty clear that when I’m in your life…I’m number one. Is it a red flag? I’m not sure. Something I’ll have to figure out soon.”
DD’s thoughts on Graham“OH GOOD LORD HE IS HOT! Smoking to be exact. Intern. INTERN! Bring Mama an ice cube so I can rub it on my neck and put out this fire, honey. I have such passionate feelings about Graham. I’ve been to his website. HELLO! He makes me feel like a giddy school girl. There have been rocky parts to our relationship, but I’m okay with it. There’s an undeniable connection that I can WAIT to spark in the forgo card suites. Don’t put that part on TV.”
The montage ends with DDAHnna…hear her roar…driving her OWN car to the airport on her way to Colorado to meet precious Jesse.
DATE ONE
Breckenridge, Colorado
Adorable Jesse
We find our sweet Jesse in a bright blue Smurf-ish ski suit, snow boarding his guts out on the slopes of Breckenridge. He tells the camera that he teaches little kids to snow board on these very mountains and some of his girls have a crush on him.
Some adults do too. How much does a plane ticket to Colorado cost these days?
I’m just saying.
He boards right up to DDAHnna and tells her she looks amazing and he is syked (of course he is) for her to see him in his element. He helps with her helmet and encourages her to hang on to him as they make their way down the snowy mountain.
Jess: “Press on you toes. Come to me. Stand up tall. D…look at me. Don’t look down. I have beautiful eyes…you should look at them.”
Then he lets her go and she slams into the snow. Jill, Susan and I all laughed. I’m sure you did too.
Jess jumps in his snow board and dives to her rescue. Gentleman. Love it.
He tells the camera the D killed it on the slopes and he loves that she is a natural athlete. He tells her he is impressed with her skills and can’t believe she didn’t fall on her badonkehdonk. She answers back that she wanted to vomit the entire time.
Probably not the best line DD. Game on girl. THIS IS JESSE! He is not your little brother.
She asks about his family and what she should expect with meeting them. He says his Mom is laid back. His Dad will joke. And then he talks about how much he loves and respects his family.
DDAHnna gets on some random soap box about independence, and feeling safe and how she is always right. Somehow that leads to her remembering that when she was flung off the mechanical bull, Jess was the first one to see if she was okay. He says he knows that she will return the favor if ever she is at one of his X-Game events and is flung off his board. She agrees. Lincee is confused, but loves Jesse, so she goes with it.
And it’s at this next moment that I really, really start to dig Jesse’s chili.
DDAHnna jumps on Jesse’s back…piggy style…and he proceeds to snowboard down the mountain, weaving in and out of everyone in his path. D is screaming for her life and begging him not to run into trees.
It reminds me of the time when I was about nine years old and I scrambled onto my Daddy’s back so we could jump off the diving board together. Instead of jumping, my Dad chooses to do a front flip. Yeah. That was fun. Almost as fun as when he would push me under water to see how long I could hold my breath. Good times.
Jesse later admits to the camera that he is nervous to show D his house. He says it is little, but has lots of character. Which, in my opinion, is a PERFECT HOUSE. I think it should be full of memories. You should feel warm because you are surrounded by things you love and cherish. Who cares if it doesn’t match? Who cares if there is a TV the size of a bus on the wall? Who cares the main decorating inspiration comes from old vintage snow boards. IT’S REAL and IT’S FABULOUS!
Immediately, DD walks in to see a huge sign on the wall that reads, JSAK. She asks what it stands for. Jesse answers.
“It stands for Just Snowboarding Ambition Kids. It’s a non-profit that I helped organize for kids who can’t afford to go to competitions.”
Short. Simple. He’s never mentioned it before. I think that is a huge plus. And he quickly escorts her to one of his pride and joys…his kitchen. Check out the floor! He laid it himself. Check out the labels. Got that label machine from his Mom this past Christmas. What is this? SQUARE PLATES! Very chic.
Jesse’s parents show up. He and the Dad are identical. Dad is wearing a hat that has fake hair coming out of the back. They make small talk at the dinner table.
D: “I don’t typically date boys with long hair.”
Lincee: Why would you say that? You’ve said it about 34 times. That’s rude.
D: “Jesse did the most pushups in a challenge. I was very impressed. He surprised me.”
L: Again. Rude.
Jesse: “I was sore for three days.”
L: I HEART HIM!
Jesse leads his Pop back to his bedroom, where he hoists himself up on his dresser and asks Dad what he thinks about DDAHnna.
Dad: “When you look in her eyes, does she look away?”
Jess: “NO! She cuts right through me. My hands sweat. My heart beats.”
Dad gets sentimental: “Your Mama made my hands sweat.”
Lincee: Wipes a tear away.
Back in the kitchen, Mom and DDAHnna talk about Jesse.
Mom: “I just want someone who will lift him up and make him happy. We went twelve years without having a child. I gave up and then we had him. That’s why we named him Jesse. It means a gift from God. Just remember, whatever will be, will be. I’m delighted I got the pleasure to meet you.”
WHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Wilma is precious.
Dad encourages Jesse to open up and put himself out there. He decides to take the plunge and he and DD ride in a handsome cab where he makes out with her for the first time.
“I don’t want to think. I just want to be in the moment. She has taken the key and unlocked my heart. I am now going to kick it up about 10 notches. Those other dudes won’t know what hit them.”
[slow clap…jesse, jesse, Jesse, Jesse, JESSE, JESSE!]
DATE TWO
Dallas, TX
Jeremy
Jeremy picks DDAHnna up on the side of the road in his motorcycle. She thinks this is super cool and mentally adds it to her list of things they have in common. During their jaunt around Big D, I’m pretty sure Jeremy reaches back and grabs DDAHnna’s hand and places it in his crotch. Probably to keep them warm, I’m sure.
They arrive at Jeremy’s house. Jeremy’s annoyingly perfect house. Everything is made out of metal, granite and wood. It’s either khaki, white or grey. Much like Jeremy’s personality. They pass the pristine dining room table, and DDAHnna points out the ginormous papers hung all along the wall. These are his bar exam notes.
Alright. Dude. C’mon. We know you are a pretend lawyer. No one in my experience…and it is extensive…hung extra large Post-It notes all along their house to help them study for the bar. As soon as I type this sentence, I’m forced to note that there are probably hundreds of you who either did this or knew someone who did this and would reprimand me fiercely in the comments section. That’s fine. You all should join your own little club and create a Facebook group. My point being, if ABC is coming to your house…or even your fake house…to film and you have arranged for your maid to come and get rid of anything remotely human, besides your photo albums and journal, then probably the first thing that would have hit the trash was the ginormous bar exam notes. At least throw some Con Law books and legal pads around the dining room table to make it look like you at least studied there. He bugs.
They go outside to enjoy his perfect view. DDAHnna scratches his back up and down. That’s an intimate gesture. At least the dog, Chemo, is cool.
Jeremy decides, again, to talk about their bond and shows her old photos. Then he reads from the journal he kept as his Mom was dying. So sad. He tells her, as mascara streams down her face, that his Mom reminds him a lot of her. Then they talk about how they have this bond. Again. In case you missed it.
Oh. And did you know that D was left at the Home Depot Proposal Pedestal? For future reference in case you didn’t realize this bit of information.
It’s time to meet brothers Jason and Patrick. For some reason, D is laying on the Southern accent pretty thick as they have perfect dinner on the perfect table with the perfect dog lying perfectly below. D announces to the group that Jeremy is the first guy she would NOT have to decorate for when she comes in and takes over his boring hum drum life! Score!
Side note: Patrick and Jason call Jeremy, Germy. Pet peeve of mine. It’s annoying, but it’s true. Jer-A-my. Not Germy.
Meredith, the sister-in-law, is touched to hear that Jeremy opened up to DDAHnna. She is actually in awe. Jason and Patrick are concerned that Jeremy is going to get a broken heart. They give DDAHnna the second degree and say that they are NOT on her side. If she marries one, she marries the whole brood. Including Chemo. And no one, I mean NO ONE touches the bar exam notes. Got it?
DDAHnna admits she has sweaty palms (See? She and Jesse are soul mates) and tells them that family is the most important thing to her.
Jeremy later tells DDAHnna in front of the fake fire with no real wood, that he doesn’t just want her…he NEEDS her. In his pants.
Okay. He didn’t say that, but PLEASE! Can we get some sort of action or adventure in this home town visit? I’m dying here! Jill put it best when she said, “He’s just vanilla. We need some chocolate sprinkles.”
What we need is Jesse, but I’ve already recapped him so let’s move on.
DATE THREE
Jason
Seattle, WA
Look! DD is wearing her cute yellow rain coat for the drippy Seattle weather! Too bad the producers didn’t make her read “Seattle for Dummies” before arriving, because that Georgia girl had no idea what the Space Needle was.
Bless her heart.
Jason is so freaking excited, he can’t contain himself. He’s jumping up and down and can’t wait to embrace her in a big hug. Dude is smitten. He takes her to the tip top of the Space Needle and points out ferry boats.
Raise your hand if your mind wandered to Dr. McDreamy? Put your hands down. Thinking of McDreamy, how many of you then went straight to McSteamy?
I thought so.
Hair whipping dramatically in the wind, DD admits to the camera that this date is all about finding out if there is “something” there with Jason.
At lunch, Jason warns DD that Ty is in his “pirate” phase (so cute) and DD proceeds to remind Jason that she wants three kids by the time she is 30.
She’s 26 years old. You do the math.
They leave the Needle and head to the park to meet Ty.
[Cue the swelling instrumental suite from Forrest Gump.]
Jason sees Ty from across a green meadow. He yells. Ty responds and begins to book it (as fast as a three-year-old can go) to meet his Daddy in the most precious embrace ever. Ty is happy that his Daddy is not “sad” any more.
Pass the freaking Kleenex. This kid is straight up out of a Baby Gap ad.
After introductions, DDAHnna crouches down and pulls her first lame move and gives the kid a blue golf ball as a present. Great airport gift there D. Nothing says “nice to meet you kid” like a Titleist.
He gives her a “bump” as a thank you. Again. ADORABLE.
DD and Jason crouch down (a lot of this going on) to have a duck party with Ty. Bread and ducks named Ted are everywhere. It’s fun. That’s how duck parties roll I hear. Jason decides to be cute and asks Ty, “Why was Daddy in California?”
Ty: “To meet a pretty girl.”
Jason: “Do you know which one?”
Ty pointing to D: “THAT ONE!”
The ABC intern runs over and gives Ty a chunk of his reduced fat blueberry coffee cake (because that’s all they had at Starbucks) for delivering the line exactly how they had practiced.
Lame line of the night—DDAHnna to Ty: “Do you like riding in the car?”
I’m wondering if she’s ever been around kids.
D meets the family and the Mom gives a toast to the mid-West. They served her Greek food. She talks about liking four guys at once. Probably not the best table talk, but whatever. Jason talks about the sparkle in D’s eyes. D gathers the family around and tells Ty that she has named a star after him. He’s confused and wants to hold the star. D says that it is a million billion miles away and he will never get to touch it. Ty cries. It’s Academy Award worthy. Then they play spontaneous leap frog in the back yard, including the 300 pound Dad. Will the grass stains come out in DD’s kicky yellow coat? We may never know.
Mom encourages Jason to open his heart and take down some of the amour he has put up. Then she tells him to be brave. Then all the family starts crying as Jason embraces Ty with a passionate hug and tells him he will be back for him tomorrow. Everyone is crying. Ty is in a death grip. Jason peels his son off and hands him to his Mom. D is ugly crying and tells the camera that he had to leave his heart on the line to be with her and she digs that.
Cut to them in a random room making out. Jason tells her she has soft lips.
Lincee gags.
DATE FOUR
Raleigh, NC
Graham
I have to admit that the three of us were pretty sure Graham was going to be the one hitting the road this episode. He’s just emotionally unavailable and that does not translate well with DD.
However, during their date, Graham had become a whole new person and loved to share with DD.
When she arrived at his old high school gym, DD could not keep her hands from around his neck and waist. He had to ask her to please dismount so they could walk through the doors. Once inside, he presented her with a jersey. She asked if that was his last name. I thought that was odd, but was more interested in the potential of Grrrraham stripping his shirt to replace with his own jersey.
Cut to them playing basketball. No gratuitous skin shot. ABC is letting me down.
After a few games of HORSE, D and Graham sit on the bleachers, eating cantaloupe, bananas and drinking red Gatorade from their cooler.
Let’s stop right here for a minute. Clearly the ABC intern is not into sports. He is much more in his element with fluffy pillows, candles, feathers and anything to do with pools or beaches. I’m just saying.
They talk about his parents. He tickles her palms the entire time. His Mom is amazing. His Dad is quiet. They go to the house to meet the family and immediately I love Ike. Those glasses. That demeanor. Graham’s Daddy is a doll.
The boys drink whiskey and talk about how pretty DD is and how interesting that she talks so fast being from Georgia. The girls gather in Graham’s old room and talk about how he has a problem with commitment.
Oh dear Karen. I think you just stuck your foot in your mouth.
Mom: “There have not been a lot of serious girlfriends. Finding someone who lasts past four weeks is difficult for Graham.”
DD looks at her watch. Four week mark is today. She feels deflated and wants to talk to Graham about it outside. But where to go?
The woods of course. Intern! Get a bench over here facing this tree. I don’t care that it doesn’t make sense for a bench to face a tree…JUST DO IT!
Graham is annoyingly quiet.
D: “What’s on your mind?”
G: “Everything.”
D: “Are you okay?”
G: “Yeah.”
D: “You are worrying me.”
G: Silence.
D: “You handle things differently than I do. You run away.”
G: “No…I handle it internally.”
D: “Is this how you would be if it was just me and you?”
G: “This is how I am, so yeah.”
It’s called self sabotage people, and that was a classic example.
DD tells the camera that she is extremely disappointed. She will not beg him to fall in love with her.
ROSE CEREMONY
DDAHnna is spent. This is an impossible choice. She is scared to make the wrong decision. How can she choose?
“Jesse has progressed normally, even though he is wearing a Miami Vice suit tonight. Jeremy is not even vanilla at the moment. More like that base you get before they put all the good stuff in at Marble Slab. Half of Jason’s heart belongs to his son. Graham is hot and I am truly outrageous in my Jem outfit. What’s a girl to do?”
You suck it up and rub some dirt in it, that’s what you do. DD is no frail flower. She is tough. She is in charge. She even skips the “you are all great but I have to get rid of one” monologue.
“I pick Jesse, Jeremy and Jason. SUCK ON IT GRAHAM!”
Graham laughs, high fives and makes his way up to DDAHnna. She’s steamed at this point and walks him out to the denied park bench.
G: “You did what you felt you needed to do. This is goodbye forever.”
D: “I made it perfectly clear. I’m not going to repeat Brad. If you didn’t know, he left me at the Home Depot Proposal Pedestal and I promised not to open up to someone who didn’t open up in return. I felt like you were leading me on.”
G: “If that’s what you say.”
D: “THIS IS NOT EASY FOR ME GRAHAM. YOU HAVE NO IDEA.”
G: “Obviously you don’t see in me what you need to continue on. Your decision is easy now.”
D: “I care deeply. I’m saying goodbye to the one person I’m falling in love with. That’s how hard this is for me. I was falling and you weren’t doing the same.
I can’t take the chance that you wouldn’t choose me in return. Now I’m stuck with those three in there.”
Brand name makeup at Discount prices at Makeup.com
DD begins a sever case of ugly crying before she walks him to the car.
And then Graham stands up, reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a note. It’s for her…not the camera…not the show. He says it would mean a lot if she read it one day. He knew it would be hard to tell her stuff, so he wrote it out.
She leaves it on the denial bench and walks him to the limo. He gets in and looks really sad as he drives out of her life forever. Or until the contract is up in six months.
DD said it was hard to let Graham go because she was falling in love. Too bad she hasn’t said that about any of the other three. Now she’s second guessing her decision and is afraid to forgo card with the other boys.
According to next week’s previews, she may not get to forgo with Jesse. Because he wants to meet her Daddy first.
I wish that I was Jesse’s girl.
All about the fame, not the shame,

AMEN! Last night was a great episode!
What a GREAT week on the show!!! Finally!!! ALSO….loved the recap, Lincee, and previous comments from the previous post. Did anyone else find it freaky that Graham was forever stroking DD’s palm? Yikes!
First, I haven’t watched the episode, but I hear it’s great. Second, I’m a lawyer (I feel like Star Jones saying that) in Texas, and I do NOT have bar exam notes posted anywhere. If Jason needs to do a little legal research, there are websites for that. If he wants to remember the Bar exam, he is just sick. Getting ready for it was so incredibly stressful and horrible, I’ve blocked most of it from memory. As has every other lawyer I know.
The recap is hilarious! I can’t wait to watch the show.
BEST. RECAP. EVER.
I agree that this was one awesome episode. I seriously got teary-eyed too many times.
I seriously fell in love with Jesse and his family after that episode. How great were his parents?! He’s one cool guy. I don’t know if she’ll pick him in the end though. I’m a huge fan of Jason, always have been. I’ve also always been a fan of Jeremy but agree that he does seem to be a little quiet. Maybe that would change when cameras aren’t in his face. I think he seems like a pretty awesome guy though.
As for the Bar notes, I don’t think it was weird that he used the posters, but it was weird that he didn’t get rid of them before she came over. I take the Bar in a month and I can guarantee that my house will be completely free of any Bar-related study materials the day I’m finished.
With Graham, I think she made the right decision. I did feel bad for her though. She was definitely attracted to him, and it’s hard to face the facts that a relationship like their’s isn’t necessarily a good one. Her getting rid of Graham when she did I think makes it obvious that she is trying to do the right thing and is there for genuine reasons. I do hope it works out for her.
As a personal friend-of-a-friend of Jeremy’s, I can tell you that the ABC intern put those Post-Its there! They usually live in Jeremy’s office or in his bedroom.
You’re awesome, Lincee–your recaps are better than the show itself!
Badonkehdonk! lol!
I knew Graham was from Raleigh, but didn’t realize he went to Wake Forest Rolesville High. That’s about 1/2 mile from our house. I spit my milk out when I saw that come up. How could I have missed the taping?
Love the recap- it’s the only reason I watch the show.
Lincee is slowly becoming my girl crush after DD… You rock. Jeremy is Tom Cruise in Texas lawyer form. Something is brewing and it’s going to be an awards dinner with the Scientologists.
Team Jesse! Representing Colorado!
Kicky yellow jackets match blue golf balls.
Lyn, Denver.
I agree with the post from the previous comments… Jesse’s house HAD to be staged. THAT guy with THAT mentality would not have labeled cupboards and square plates. He would either have plastic cups that come free with your pizza order or just beer cans hanging around. I have been to a rental property before in the mountains and that’s exactly what they do so the renters know where to put things. You can tell how quickly he passed by the subject when she brought it up. I think it’s a rental place because half of that furniture would NOT be there if left up to “Im-still-12-stuck-in-a-18-yr-olds-body” boy. I like Jesse A LOT more than I use to but seriously… DD picking him? She won’t be fulfilling her dreams of having 3 kids in 3.5 years with him!
Best , Recap . Ever .
I’m ready for the MTA episode!
Amen! Great show and Great Recap!
Jesse - They have tons in common with the exception of looks and style. She needs to pick him
Jeremy - too “perfect”. His journal reading made me cry but I had wonder why share that at this point. Did anyone else notice that he gave her the helmet he was wearing when he pulled up??? EW!
Jason - Ty and his family pushed him up and over the mark. He is too much of the woman in the relationship. He wouldn’t be man enough for DD.
Graham - I knew he was going just from the preview. I knew she WANTED it to be him. But I don’t get why she didn’t let him go on the fantasy date so she could so how much he could open up to us…I mean her….
I’m up in the air on who will go next week (Jeremy for because he is too perfect or Jason because she won’t lead him on and break two hearts)
I think Jesse will be the last man standing and that will date for awhile and break up quickly and she’ll hook back up with Graham later…
and i forgot to say thank you, Lincee, for posting a picture of my husband this time around. I can’t ever get enough Dempsey.
Brilliant as usual - Graham was just Brad redux - run far far away from that one! I think she picks Jason, but after hearing that he wasn’t “the one” she was falling for, do you think he (or any of them) will stick around?
Wow - no other rose ceremony ended where the person who was NOT picked, high fived, laughed, and generally just hooped it up with the people where WERE picked. I think they had to edit out the huge, LOUD sigh of relief from Graham when he was finally let go of his personal h*** that was being on the Bachelorette. I almost bet he called his mom in advance and asked her to lay the ‘Graham doesn’t last more than 4 weeks with most girls’ -line on DD. And seriously - was he not trying to hold back a total smile and laugh attack on the bench while DD was telling him how hard it was to send him packing? I think that’s what he was doing with his face turned.
I don’t think DD meshes well with the rest - but of those three, I think she’s best matched with Jeremy but for some reason, he’s not exotic enough for her (granted, he is vanilla - but sometimes ‘rocky road’ is not what it’s cracked up to be!) I prefer vanilla for a life-time commitment, but that’s just me.
Stellar recap, I can’t wait to see next week’s ‘double feature’ when the men tell all and DD takes it to the ‘next level’ (whatever that will be) with the remaining three.
I Heart Jesse. However, I really do not want to see her pick him. Why? Because she seems like the kind of girl that would immediately start trying to change him. And I happen to like Jesse just the way he is.
pick jeremy. leave the others fully intact for the wonderful single women who have grown to love them. can’t say i’m single, but i certainly love jesse & jason*****.
I too hope Jesse is not DD’s pick. Why? Because he’s too good for her? Why more importantly? Because that frees him up to hook up with Lincee!!!! What a fabulous and funny couple they would be.
Go with Jeremy, they can be vanilla and boring together. Jason and Ty are too sweet and could do better.
Loved this line “Lame line of the night—DDAHnna to Ty: “Do you like riding in the car?” I’m wondering if she’s ever been around kids.”
I was thinking it was a stupid thing to say too!
I agree that this was a great episode!! Your best Recap EVER!!!! I look forward to this every week! I cannot believe that she said she was falling in love with Graham and did not mention the other 3 she has to CHOOSE from !!! That makes me not look forward to the end- whoever she chooses I don’t think it will last!!!
I agree with DJ. If DD picks Jesse, she will be trying to change him from the get go. Anyone else notice that they haven’t ONCE promoted “most exciting finale…proposal…etc”? Something tells me DD pulls a Brad and doesn’t choose anyone- which would be so ironic.
The attraction with Graham (besides the obvious) is that he wasn’t always available to DD and that made her want him more and more. If any of these other guys played the “hard to get” card, she’d be in love with them too. I think DD is a little (or a lot) self-centered and is flabergasted that Graham wasn’t falling head over heels with her. Even Jesse played a little hard to get (not kissing her til last night) and that’s probably why he stayed around so long. Jeremy and Jason are too available to her and that’s not as intriguing as Graham or even Jesse. I have a feeling its gonna be a boring finale…
I like Jason & Jesse - So I hope she picks Jeremy - the typical d-bag Dallas guy.
OK — not to be tacky — but did you notice the aluminum foil pan “serving dish” at Jesse’s dinner? And it looked like a giant TV dinner — entree and sides all in one “dish”. I doubt that Jeremy has a single aluminum foil pan in his place!!
I have to admit — this may have been the most “geniune” episode I’ve seen. Mainly due to the families of the guys — all seemingly normal, nice people.
I can’t wait for Guys Tell All.
“No one in my experience…and it is extensive…hung extra large Post-It notes all along their house to help them study for the bar”
I have taken two bars. I used this new invention called a “book” to study. It worked great, and I passed. Twice.
“I pick Jesse, Jeremy and Jason. SUCK ON IT GRAHAM!”
Best. Recap. Line. Of. The Season!
And really think Graham’s plan backfired on him….I think he thought that by being “breezy” with her he would stay around and I think he was genuinely shocked he was going home once they got outside or he woudn’t have written the note beforehand. After he laughed of course when she called his name.
at least we know her name won’t be d-on-a-bunn. even the hotness could not compensate for such a travesty. go team jesse!
#9 and others who think Jesse couldn’t pull off what you saw. Have you never heard of “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”????? He’s 26 and grateful that he accomplsihed as much as he has. He wants to share it with others. And, while the general asumption seems to be that snowboarders are immature, you can’t think there’s not an exception! Guys have wierd hang ups, he happens to like labeling machines. It could be alot worse!
obviously ddahna doesn’t watch grey’s anatomy! great recap lincee, i can’t believe you didn’t mention the “have you ever taken a carriage ride” comment - that line was the best of the night!
Lincee, you crazy girl. Funniest recap ever! Hard to choose my favorite hilarious comment, but right up there would have to be, “I am truly outrageous in my Gem outfit.”
Jesse is da BOMB! I agree with DJ–DD needs to pick Cash McMogulson-er-Germy and leave precious Jesse for someone more deserving and equally precious, say… maybe…Lincee. Loved when he stated, very matter of factly, “I’m about to kick it up about 10 notches”. How cute is he!!
Funniest recap ever!!! You had me laughing so hard. Favorite line: I am truly outrageous in my Gem outfit. I mean… that’s just hilarious.
I definitely think that earned the “most dramatic rose ceremony ever” title…but no mention of it from OHCH…what a shame. My random thoughts on this one:
Jesse: so HOT! He can throw me on his back and snowboard down a mountain anyday of the week. He has such a realistic view of dating her and progressing at a normal pace…too bad DD has her 3 kids by 30 plan. She’s not too smart in the math department apparantly. Oh, what do you think he was whispering to her in between kisses in the carriage?
Jason: nice guy but a little too needy. And definitely not one to stand up to DD and put her in her place. Seriously, how do you not know about the space needle??? And the golf ball thing–so random and weird.
Jeremy: easy on the eyes, but very vanilla. I definitely thinks he fits that Dallas guy image…and I can say that because I live in Dallas. His “perfect guy” image is probably far from the truth. Pretty sure he’s next to go home.
Graham: Oh Graham…you are hot but that’s about all you have going for you. It was all about the chase with him…we’ve all done it before.
DD, you are killing me. Time to get over your “plan” and realize that Jesse is a great catch. You don’t have to marry the guy…date him, get to know him better and see where it could lead. If it doesn’t work out then you can revert back to your ways and crawl back to Graham cracker!
I forgot to mention–LOVED the snowboard Hall of Fame. What a creative and manly interior design idea!
GREAT recap, Lincee! I’m amazed at how much funny material you managed to get out of an episode that I thought was so real and serious. Just further proves what everyone is saying about you needing to write a book : ) Loved all the guys’ families and felt the guys and DD were actually very genuine — a nice change from episodes past. Jason has been my fav from day 1 — think he is seriously adorable — but Jesse is becoming a close second. Impossible to tell who she’s going to choose with the crazy editing that ABC does. I think she’s done a pretty good job of narrowing the field down to three good choices and was actually very smart to let Graham go. I’ve never been on the “Graham is HOT” bandwagon, but hey, that’s me…but who hasn’t been “in love” with a seriously hot guy who is completely not into you. I think it was very mature of her to realize that even though SHE was seriously into him, it has to be a two-way street to work. How many of our favorite Bachelors have had that same realization? Um. No one.
On a separate note relating to a previous book club posting, has anyone read Jen Lancaster? She’s hilarious and also has a blog.
Lincee-will you email OHCH and ask him why there haven’t been any finale previews?? they’ve done a great job keeping the ending under wraps…i haven’t even seen too many spoilers!
i’m thinking that the earlier spoilers were right and it’ll be jason and jesse in the final two. don’t know who she’ll pick though.
i cried during germy’s letter and the hello and goodbye with ty. i dont see either of them ending in a proposal though. we’ll see
i love to plan. but i think dd is a little ridiculous planning 3 kids by the time she’s 30.
Yea, the “3 kids by 30″ thing made me cringe. As a happily married (for 5 years) 27 year old with no kids, I don’t even think it would be physically possible to have 3 in the next 3 years. I mean, her uterus WILL need a little break in there, ya know?
But considering she had never seen or heard of the Space Needle I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t know that babies took awhile to make and bake. It isn’t like the stork starts dropping them in your lap the second you say “I do”.
I like Jesse and Jason. Neither are DD’s type though so I foresee a Home Depot sponsored proposal followed shortly thereafter with a breakup. Maybe she will go find Graham. He might count as kid #1!
17 - We should sooooooooo hook Jesse up with Lincee. I bet she would be game!!!
Hahah I never realized…”D on a bun” hahahahahahaha
Thanks Lincee for a great recap.
Honestly, I don’t like Deanna for any of these guys. I think she isn’t worthy!
I just keep thinking of how awkward it must have been for Jesse, Jason or Jeremy if they were sitting next to D last night watching this episode and seeing how she was gushing over Graham proclaiming her love for him and only him!
If i had to pick one for her from those three (although i don’t think she actually loves any of the three), i’m agreeing with the above and going with jeremy cuz the other two are way too nice to have to deal with a snob like her and her rude comments.
Reading this recap just brightens my boring day!!
Seriously, Lincee, can you post pictures of OHCH and Jesse side by side? I’m telling you, Jesse is his lovechild.
Awesome Recap! I don’t cry at TV ever, but I certainly teared up a few times last night.
“I am truly outrageous in my Jem outfit.” I loved out loud at work when I read that and had to pretend it was a sneeze. I love these recaps and I want Jeremy’s house.
#40…I KNOW…how many times were we supposed to cry or get all teared up? Apparently, every five minutes seemed to be the norm last night. Crazy. It was the battle of who has the biggest heartbreak in their lives: waiting 12 years for little Jesse, losing one or both parents, leaving my 3 year old to make out with the potential step monster, or well…Graham not having much beyond his looks. The last point may be the saddest. Now I’m tearing up again…dang it!
Lincee - I love that Graham’s website made the recap this week, because I totally Googled him last night while I was watching his utterly painful hometown date!!! It’s sort of odd to me that he is identified as a professional basketball player on the show, though, because he suffered a career-ending injury while playing in Germany, according to his website. He’s now focusing on his non-profit work, which I think is way more impressive than playing basketball, but apparently Mr. Bunn (LOL) disagreed.
I found myself disliking Jeremy less than usual last night. He was still vanilla and ENTIRELY too perfect (which, to me, indicates that he is hiding something). I was touched by his emotional conversation re: his mom, though.
I think Jesse is my favorite right now, though Jason and his son are adorable together. I totally want to take a snowboarding lesson from Jesse! If only I lived closer to Breckenridge. Sigh…
DD on the Space Needle “That was the most amazing view I’ve ever seen in my entire life.”
DD on they Ty Jason reunion hugs “That was the most touching moment I’ve ever seen in my entire life.”
Steph on DD “This girl is the most annoying girl I’ve ever listened to in my entire life.”
Great recap Lincee!!
Right on, #44 Steph!!
I live in Colorado, and buy a season pass to snowboard every year at Breckenridge, Keystone, and A-Basin. I can definitely tell you that real estate in Breckenridge is astronomical. I’d be shocked if Jesse really does own that house. Not to call him a liar, but I’m just sayin…most “professional snowboarders” don’t make a lot of money. A lot of the ones I’ve met in Breck share houses (usually 4-5 to a house!), and always rent because pro snowboarding is a pretty nomadic lifestyle.
Still not on Team Jesse–don’t hate me! I think she should choose Germy–I would never date him, but they deserve each other I think.
For those hating on Jeremy for the giant post its…I just read on another website that Jeremy just took the bar in February 2008. So based on the fact that the show filmed earlier this year…he probably left quickly after he took the bar to go on the show.
lay off people!
When you started the clap for Jesse, it totally cracked me up. Try this if you ever need a pick me up….Lincee…lincee.lincee.lincee…..lincee.lincee.lincee…. lincee lincee LLLIIINNNCEEEE (to the tune of “Eye of the Tiger”) makes me smile every time!
What is Graham’s website address?
“I am truly outrageous in my Jem outfit”…….oh gracious, I almost spit my water - maybe she needs some star sunglasses
Thank you to everyone who answered my question, “Are there really people out there who don’t know what the Space Needle is? Come on.” I thought I was biased since I work just a few blocks away from it, but apparently everyone else (besides DD) knows what it is. Phew. I thought Seattle was going to have to hire a new advertising firm.
http://www.grahambunn.com
From episode one I thought she would pick Jeremy and haven’t yet wavered much. He is a little dull, but maybe it’s because it’s TV and he’s nervous? He’s definitely the logical choice.
I liked Jason on and off this season but he lost me completely when he was “comforting” her a couple of episodes back. It was a bit creepy. He definitely lost me when he started bouncing up and down in the park when he saw her. Definitely gave me the “too needy and clingy” vibe. And if I met a family for the first time and we all commenced in a big game of leapfrog? Nope. Not going back.
I was so mad at DD for constantly digging at Graham to open up. I believe I said out loud “For the love of God, so he’s not yap, yap, yapping all day like you! He’s quiet, cut the guy some slack!” I felt like she has probably always picked the wrong guy and tried to mold him to fit her. Then he had his smart aleck face on during the rose ceremony and I was glad he got knocked down.
Jesse still doesn’t do anything for me. Can we really see her deciding to live in a dumpy rental with each snow board “with meaning” hung on all the walls? I don’t think so.
Great recap and as always, I can’t wait for the next one!
Just a hunch but I can totally see Jeremy standing in the middle of his bedroom, pumping iron, and memorizing the miles of post-its on his wall!! Knowing him, he may have kept them up there thinking he would have to retake the exam! Loved the recap of Jeremy.
People, people, people! Jesse is THE MAN! And that takes some doing IMHO, because I would never have guessed he had the depth, maturity and all-around charm he displayed last night. I too was one of those doubters, wondering what the hell she was thinking, choosing him week after week. Now WE know, but DDuh still doesn’t.
Unlike others here, I am confident we DID see his home, and what it showed us is that the guy is multi-faceted, clever, interesting and sincere. Square plates — love it! Serving out of aluminum — BFD! His father was a riot (reminded me of the comedian Gallagher with the hat and attached hair), his mother a sweetie, their relationship precious and the entire family dynamic one I yearned for as a kid.
DDuh doesn’t come close to deserving the guy, which is just fine by me, since we FOL (Fans of Lincee) need to do what’s necessary to get Jesse hooked up with HER — forget DDuh.
I can see it now, Jesse piggybacking Lincee off into the snowy sunset. Whoo-hoo!
Best Line “Some adults do too. How much does a plane ticket to Colorado cost these days?
I’m just saying”
And loved the JEM reference…I’m 7 again
Used to live in CO & have been to Breck many times. There’s this great hat store downtown that we always have to go to & it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Jesse’s dad picked his up there. Just FYI …
I loved the ending with DD crying about Graham leaving, cut to announcer “Next week on the Bachelorette,” cut to D screaming “wooooo hooooo!” Can’t remember if she was jet skiing with Jesse or sipping vanilla shakes with Jeremy on a boat, but it sure made it sound like she didn’t mourn for Graham very long.
Still hope she doesn’t pick Jesse & they make him the next Bachelor. And sure, Lincee can be one of the bachelorettes. We probably wouldn’t get the great recaps, but the inside scoop six months later would be so worth it. . . .
I LOVED THIS EPISODE! And your recap rocked! Right on Lincee!
I can no longer make a choice on who she should pick. But that won’t stop me from offering up some thoughts. I personally think Jeremy may be the best choice for her. I think they would work long term. He is there and ready right now. She likes “perfection” and he offers that. MY choice would be Jason. I totally cried when he saw his son and then again when he had to say goodbye. I think he would also be a fine choice and he would commit to her 100%. But she might not be able to be so far from her family and split his attention.
As for Jesse…. LOVE HIM. But not for her. I think she loves many things about him, but over time she would want to change him. She’d want to cut his hair. She would want him to get a more “grown up” job. She wants 3 kids in 4 years… and I don’t think he is there yet. So while he is a really cool guy, I just don’t think it would last with them. But man, the girl that does land him and keeps him will be lucky. Actually… I think a girl would be lucky with any of these guys. And I’ve never felt that way at the end of the Bachelor or Bachelorette! So… its safe to say I am loving this season.
So Lincee I have to say that I was disappointed that you didn’t mention the glimpse we got of the ABC intern kicking the ball around with Ty right before Jason called out to him. That was a great moment watching the Intern trying to get out of the shot so we wouldn’t think it was staged and Ty just happened to be in that park with a ball.
Sorry gang, not on Team Jesse for DD. I think he is a great guy and I love that he isn’t following the typically mold for how this show works. I just don’t see them together and I really think he is in the friend zone. I don’t think Graham was surprised he was sent packing based on the smug look on his face during the Rose Ceremony. I think the final two will be Jason and Jeremy. Who she picks from there I am not certain. I am leaning towards Jason because of the kid more than anything.
As for her being in love, seriously…you don’t fall in love that fast anyway.
OHCH and ABC if you are listening let Lincee be your twist on the next season of the Bachelor…..loved the mole in Jesse Palmer’s season.
Because I am lame I looked up information on-line and Jesse actually owns 2 properties (a condo and a townhome in the Dillon/Breckenridge area).
Lincee - I have his PO Box in Breckenridge and his home address in Amherst OH…..let me know if you want them. = )
I wonder if they are going to bring Graham back???!!!
#54, FOL…..love it! I will use it in the future!
#55, You are the third or fourth person I’ve seen who went with “Jem dress” after the first person who misspelled it went with it….Lincee said “Gem dress”, as in pretty rocks called gems, because DeAnna’s dress was sparkly. Not picking on you; it’s just been bugging me that one person misspelled it and then a bunch of people kept misspelling it.
And I agree with the couple of posters that have said this is THE BEST season yet. I am enjoying this train wreck more than any other season of the Bachelor or the Bachelorette thus far….although Byron’s proposal was the best ever…..he learned how to propose in Spanish so Mary’s mother would understand the words he was saying….how SWEET!
And big props to all of the posters…you guys make my week. Lincee, you provide the humor we all need on Tuesdays and then everyone else’s comments keep me going the rest of the week. Thanks to all!
GREAT recap! Favorite line…”Now I’m stuck with those three in there!” Cracked me up. Graham deserved to go. He was cute, but he kinda made my skin crawl…something about his eyes and those episodes of silence. It was almost like he enjoyed keeping D off balance…entertaining for us, but not someone she should have kept in the game if she doesn’t want to get left standing at the Home Depot pedestal like she did last year. I love Jesse and his family, but I have a feeling DD will choose Jeremy, and yes, I do think they deserve each other.
OHHHHH and nobody mentioned the picture of Graham from high school??????
That was almost painful to look at!
#61 — I thought Lincee was making a reference to that fantastic cartoon from back in the day - Jem and the Holograms, no?
#64,
Okay, I am eating crow, you are right….Lincee said “Jem”, I just read “Gem” and thought about the sparkly dress….sorry to all. ;o(
Best yet Lincee! The rose ceremony section had me in tears while I ate my zone bar…I almost choked on it. You are truly gifted!
Do you think ABC is faking us out about the forego card on Jesse’s overnight date? I’m thinkin they are… that he’s like “PSYCHE!” after he tells her has to wait to meet her dad.
Oh and I feel so bad for the remaining 3 because she made it pretty frickin obvious she was only falling in love with Graham…
Ok, I have to say I have no idea who she is going to pick at this rate. I’m guessing nobody since they are having an “After the Final Rose Ceremony” special. So D can explain how different her choice of neither guy is NOTHING like what Brad did to her. Although the utube Ellen video someone posted (thanks) makes it seem like she did pick someone.
Jesse doesn’t seem on board enough for her to be able to pop out 3 kids in the next 4 yrs.
Jason is totally cute and I heart him, but I don’t know if D does. He is probably her best bet for the 3 kids business since he already has one though.
Jeremy seems just right…for her. They have good body language and have their mom’s death in common (which seems really important to them). But his life seems so sterile!
Good job editing, ABC!
Funniest line ever: “I pick Jesse, Jeremy and Jason. SUCK ON IT GRAHAM!”
Yeah, those hometown dates were filmed at the end of April. Homeboy took the bar in Feb. As someone who has taken the bar and is currently studying for another, nobody leaves their notes all around their house. That stuff is burned the day after. Unless of course you want people to know that you are a big shot lawyer with a fancy condo and a Porsche. How in the world does unemployed, recent law school grad Jeremy actually even afford all of his fancy toys? He’s a bit douchey in my opinion…
Just a couple of questions….the motorcycle ride…was it just me, or did Downtown Dallas look completely deserted? I just wondered if he really only rode for the episode and they had to clear the streets? Just a thought.
And who was the woman playing with Ty in the park? The intern? I thought at first it might be an aunt or family friend, but when Jason was reunited with him, she just disappeared to never be seen again. hmmmm
Great recap, as always!!!!!! Lincee you are the best. I love the side comments you add. Like the little bubble of thoughts.
I am a Jesse fan too- His last name is Csincsak. There is a lot more about him on his website-enjoy!!
#70, I agree, that townhouse, which looked like it was either in Deep Ellum or Bryan Place had to be about $350K-$400K, I was wondering the same thing.
#71 - They probably filmed it on the weekend or something.
I love the random inserts of DD being left at the home depot pedestal throughout the recap…haha!
K, my favorite lines from the recap:
“Bring Mama an ice cube so I can rub it on my neck and put out this fire, honey.” HAHAHAHAHHA!!!
“DDAHnna…hear her roar”…..snort!
I was crying lauging at these parts: ”
“I pick Jesse, Jeremy and Jason. SUCK ON IT GRAHAM!”
“Graham laughs, high fives and makes his way up to DDAHnna.”
” I can’t take the chance that you wouldn’t choose me in return. Now I’m stuck with those three in there.
DD begins a sever case of ugly crying before she walks him to the car.”
#2, no, I loved Graham’s strokage of her palms!
#70, maybe when is parents died, him and his brothers inherited some money? Maybe that’s how he has that nice condo.
#71…downtown Dallas usually is pretty deserted if it’s not during the work day, i.e. nights and weekends.
74 - jeremy’s condo is listed on the dallas county appraisal site on commerce street. i’ll refrain from giving the street number & sell price though so he can have a bit of privacy (but Dallasgrl is in the neighborhood…lil bit high). since it’s public information though, you can look it up yourself.
DD made a huge mistake ditching Grrrraham before overnights. Two words DD: “Fantasy” and “Suite”. Add Graham to that, and you’re gnoshing a little slice of Heaven. You don’t have to pick the guy in the end, but, for Pete’s sake, take it to the suite. Fool.
Sher #75 - Good point about the inheritance, I can’t believe I didn’t think of that.
The other thing about Jeremy’s home versus Jesse’s is that real estate in Breck is wayyyy more expensive than Dallas. For all we know, their two homes could have cost the same thing.
I have really enjoyed this season and have no idea who DD will pick. I think Jeremy is the best fit for her, but it doesn’t seem like she is as into him as he is into her.
I have to say that I liked DeAnna a lot more this episode than in some of the other episodes. She seemed more real or something and handled herself very well with the families. The whole “America’s Sweetheart” thing is a stretch, but I appreciate a chick with spunk and she has it.
That was one of your best, sister!! Loved. It. You were pulling out some old school stuff like crazy - Jem!! Oh my granny, That was great. Spot on with everything.
I’m sorry, but I really can’t enjoy Jesse with his hair like that. I need him to cut it. It just looks kinda greasy.
He IS adorable though!
OK…this has probably been mentioned several times before but since I don’t have time to scroll through all of the comments right now (but I will be doing so later on tonight for sure!)…I am going to say this anyway.
What in the WORLD is she thinking saying she wants to have 3 kids by the time she is 30?? She is already 27 years old! Unless she is planning on having triplets, she is kidding herself!
First of all, what is her hurry! I understand the whole “wanting to be a young” parent deal. But is it really going to matter is she is 35? I wouldn’t think so.
Second of all, has she bothered to mention this to all of the remaining guys? I can imagine that a few of them would be running (and I mean at a full out sprint!) for the hills on that. Seeing as how by the time she proposes (or coerces one of them to propose to her)…she will have only known them for what 8 weeks? I would suggest making sure you actually want to be married to (and stay married to) that dude before you start having children. Because we all know that once you have a child with someone, there is no getting rid of them!
So let me be sure I have this timeline down….in the next 3 years, DD is planning on 1) proposing/getting proposed to, 2) waiting until the finale airs so she can actually publicly be engaged to that person, 3) planning a wedding, 4)actually making to the wedding, and 5) getting pregnant right off the bat and having not one, but THREE children? I am understanding this chick correctly?
One more thing (before I forget it!)….
Did anyone else think it was strange when DD and Graham were at the high school and she was putting the jersey on, that she said, “oh, is that your last name?” One would think you might hold off falling in love with someone until AFTER you’ve actually found out his last name! For some reason, I am hearing that Carrie Underwood song “I don’t even know his last name….” in my head right now!
You see I can explain DD’s “spacing” on the Space Needle. In Georgia, we never got too immersed in “geography” or “landmarks”. When tickets for the Atlanta Olympics first went on sale, one of the local customer service reps wouldn’t sell any to a person calling from New Mexico because, and I quote; “We are not allowed to sell any tickets to people outside the United States as of yet.”
And there’s your sign…
Sigh. Lincee. Note to add to your disclaimer:
If you are reading this in a place where silence is golden: STOP. Now. Do not read any further.
Contents may cause you to laugh loudly, fall on the floor laughing, or perhaps spit out your drink. You
have been warned.
Oh dear, this one was so funny, and I was so in a place I shouldn’t have been LOLing… Thanx Lincee, as always. You rock.
I’m predicting she doesn’t pick any of the remaining 3. He pulls a Womack.
I bet Graham comes back somehow and they live “happily” ever after.
Poor DD…she seems like a nice enough girl. But it sure seems like every day is a BRAND NEW world for her. Let’s see:
1. doesn’t know what the Space Needle is. That is like saying you don’t know what the Eiffel Tower is or The Grand Canyon, or The Golden Gate Bridge! Just because you haven’t been there, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist!
2. To be someone who is dying to have 3 kids, she sure doesn’t seem to have spent very much time with any children! Not that its a bad thing. But who gives a child a golf ball for a gift? And then asks if he likes riding in a car? Its a car for crying out loud! How exciting can it be?
3. She says, “oh, is that your last name?” to Graham. Uh…you might want to add that to you list of “things I must know BEFORE getting engaged to someone” or “things I probably SHOULD know before I shack up in a fantasy suite with someone”.
4. She basically told Graham that all she wanted was for him to be the last one standing in the end. That is a little frightening if you want to know the truth. So basically, what she is saying is “I wanted you Graham but since you won’t conform to my needs/wishes/standards, I guess I will just have to fall in love with one of those other boys! Peace out!” Huh? Must be nice falling in and out of love so easily! Yikes!
Bless her heart. She just seems like a total ditz! But a sweet ditz nonetheless!
Unless they are both still single when they are 40, after about 15 years of therapy, she. is. not. living. happily ever after. with Graham. He may be deep, interior, quiet and all that other stuff but that wasn’t the problem - it wasn’t just that he couldn’t verbalize his feelings, he couldn’t even look her in the eye. The fact that he might open up at some unspecified date in the future isn’t good enough, if her goal is to get married while she can still have kids. So she hearted him - so what? Who hasn’t hearted someone that was just not available, for one reason or another? She’ll get over it, probably already has.
And don’t underestimate Jesse in terms of maturity, income or persistence. You don’t get to be a competitive athlete in any sport by being a complete flake. You don’t buy a condo in Breckenridge in your 20s unless mummy & daddy give you an advance on your trust fund or unless you are very hard working and successful. We’ve met mummy and daddy now and I think we can safely say that it wasn’t a trust fund. He’s a serious, thoughtful, kind, spontaneous, wacky guy. What an amazing combo.
I say again, Jeremy alphabetizes his spices and Jason lives too far away from D’s family and he ain’t moving. It’s got to be Jesse!
#52 T: ITA, the minute the leapfrog started, I would think I had entered the twilight zone…
About Jeremy, he races motorcycles, that is a hobby. I think he needs to cut loose a little with DD but other than that, he seems like a pretty cool guy. I’m just saying.
Jesse is pretty cool too, but I think all the snowboarder lingo/image would get old after a while. Don’t think he is ready for marriage or kids.
Jason is a sweetie, but that seems filled with complications…ex-wife, etc. Have they ever actually said he has full custody? I am wondering….if we all just assumed it… can anybody point me to the episode that he says that?
Niki (#77) LOL!!!!! My thoughts exactly. “You don’t have to pick the guy in the end, but for Pete’s sake take it to the suite. Fool” Classic. Almost burst out laughing. Maybe that’s why she was crying so much after she put him in the car. She figured it out too late that she could have had her cake, and eat it to. No punn intended.
And I second Chickpea’s addition to the disclaimer. I read this blog on my breaks at work, and have to try really hard not to laugh outloud.
#25: Oh my gosh! I actually get it - D on A Bunn…. haha!
Anyway, I DID NOT get to watch last night’s episode! I recorded it because I had to go to Dallas and I stayed at my sister’s. So, SUDDENLY my mom and sister (but not me) realize that it is 8:45 and the Bachelorette is on (we had been freaking all day that we wouldn’t get to see it and stupid us are sitting in a house with a television set RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!) So we turn it to ABC and my mom is like “The Rose Ceremony, let’s watch it!” and I scream “NO! It will ruin it!”
So I hop off the couch with my pillow and as I’m leaving the room I hear her say Jesse and I actually feel my jaw hit the floor (considering I was going ONLY on what I saw last week, I thought Jesse would go). So I’m hooked and go back into the room and stand behind the couch with the pillow half-way covering my face because I can’t believe I’m watching the RC without watching the episode. Then she calls Jeremy and my eyes literally almost fall out of my head! Then… after a way too long dramatic pause… she calls Jason. I fell over! Could this really be the end of seeing Hottie Graham???
I hop over the couch and watch the rest of the episode wandering “If he wrote her this letter, why didn’t he give it to her BEFORE the RC???” Anyway, my mother - being the extremely emotional person she is - has a few tears streak down her face as my other sister (who doesn’t watch the show) walks in. She literally laughs at my mom for crying over a show like The Bachelorette as my mom explains to her what happened. So I told my sister to go to Graham’s website so she could see his hotness (yes, I’ve already Googled him and know his website… yes, that is sad) and she goes but the site crashes. Apparently after the RC EVERYONE wanted to know about Graham Bunn.
Now I have to wait until 10 tonight to watch the episode and I must admit I’m excited. Really GREAT recap Lincee!!!
But now that Graham is gone, are we allowed to start petitioning that he be the next Bachelor (think about ladies - a whole ‘nother season of Shirtless.Hottie.Graham… mmm…)?
Lincee, Your recap was awesome and had me laughing out loud… I’m tempted to start the low clap Jesse chant!
#77- Totally agree. And laughing out loud!
#88: I don’t know (about the full-custody thing)… I swore he said that his ex-wife had left to like go off and fulfill her dreams and like travel or she didn’t want to settle down. But I might be getting that mixed up with something else (like a movie or something). But like I said, I’m not sure but that’s what I thought.
And the plot thickens….just found this:
“The Men Tell All” — It’s an explosive reunion viewers won’t want to miss, as the most memorable bachelors from this season - including Graham, Richard, Fred, Twilley and Ron — return to confront each other and DeAnna one last time on national television to dish the dirt and tell their side of the story. And DeAnna reveals a shocking secret she’s been keeping all this time, on “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All,” MONDAY, JUNE 30 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
What secret would that be…?
Even though Jesse has my full attention now, I care for Jeremy more after last night, I was very close to my ex husbands mom, and several years ago, she passed away from cancer in our home with the family (and Hospice nurse) standing by. Listening to him read from his journal brought it all back and I can understand how it may have affected Jeremy’s personality. His description of his mom sounded like DeAnna to me - a strong woman etc, and he said he Needs her in his life, I think he would take it very hard if she rejects him, and if they end up together, I hope he wont be too clingy and afraid of losing her; as his brother told him, the last one ‘who broke your heart was Mom’
# 93 - Raves4Richard - She’s carrying Brad’s child??? She’s going to reveal she’s really a bartender? Virgin? I’ve got no clue. You think Twilley’s a friend? She kisses everyone else. There was one season where there was a gal in the running to watch everyone and give feedback. Just saying… Side note: When dating my husband, I had a theory that either he or I would be on the show & the other would be a contestant. Then we could secretly get a free ring & wedding. :O) One year for his birthday, he was convinced that I submitted him for the show…what was he thinking? HA! But seriously, it’s not far fetched. She’s got an insider & it’s either Twilley, Ron or Jesse.
follow up on my last comment, it can’t be jesse. sorry.
Jem was a great gold nugget…such a blast from the past.
I am from GA and I just want to go on record and say that some of us down here DO know our geography.
Below I copied in some comments from the other post (the pre-recap post). I think they are getting at something here. The whole thing with Graham was so weird. She dumps him and then she practically yells at him. She is so mad! He looks so uncomfortable. It was sad. It was also really noticable that OHCH didn’t give us any warning as to the fact that this was the “most dramatic rose ceremony ever” because it kind of was! I really felt sorry for both of them, but I did get the feeling that we weren’t getting the whole picture.
Read the previous comments below and see what you think:
{I hope some more info will come out on this whole situation so we can know what happened! Here’s a couple of theories I’ve read saying that he asked to leave the show which kind of fits in with what you said:
“I think maybe Graham asked to leave the show, but didn’t want to embarrass Deanna so maybe he asked her to not give him a rose. Maybe that is why she was so mad right before handing them out because she didn’t speak (thank anybody as usual). She got really mad at him for just standing there, smiling and swaying. I don’t get the whole note thing though, except for the fact that he was explaining why he wanted to leave the show and apologized.”
“I really think he showed up that night of the ceremony with the note and wasn’t planning to go on - reason for grungy jeans. They threw on the coat and sweater to make him presentable and she knew what was going on - that he wanted out. That explains why she was so mad and why he looked away and figeted. Then she also said something to the effect that she wouldn’t ever see him again - this was the “end”. It seemed like she wanted him to change his mind. Well, I think the other guys probably knew that night too what happened - reason no scene with them after toasting. So they just went through the motions to end the show.”}
for what it is worth…I don’t think that she picks anyone. She hasn’t mentioned the end really at all and neither has ABC.
Aren’t there any nice girls in Seattle Jason could meet and date so he would not have to leave his son and go on national television to compete with other men for one girl where the odds are very much against you? When you have a child, I don’t think leaving him to go on a dating show and then putting him on the dating show is the best idea for the child. That wouldn’t be what I would want to remember about my childhood. While I’m sure he is a nice person and great father who loves his son, I frankly just don’t understand this particular decision at all. I’m trying not to allow this confusion to cloud what I think of him on the show. I think he did mention something about his ex-wife taking off…poor Ty needs some stability, which furthers my confusion about this decision. I understand taking a vacation or needing to get away….I’m sure being a single parent is quite difficult….but “getting away” by going on national television and having your dating life recorded does not make any sense to me…but to each his own.
I couldn’t help but think that the tears for Graham were about his rejecting her (touching that sore spot)…and what she hoped she could have with him; NOT what she REALLY had. She didn’t like what she really had, the arguing, the trying to make him comfortable, trying to get him to be more like Jeremy. (Sorry couldn’t resist!)
I give her kudos for realizing that it just wouldn’t make her happy to be with Graham.
#95 Bach addict, love the theories! lol I hate to get too excited, since our ideas are usually so much more creative than ABC’s “so called reality”!
I don’t have time to read all of the amazing comments, so I’m just going to say mine.
Amazing recap as always Lincee! I loved how you kept reminding us of DD’s fate on the Bachelor.
I LOVE JESSE!!! He’s awesome, love that he might not do the forgo card next week. Its nice to see someone still has some class. DD does not deserve him…I’m just saying.
Jeremy is so boring…
Jason…eh, he’s just okay.
Glad Graham finally got the boot.
Honestly, who has never heard of the Space Needle? She must have been living under a rock all her life…that was dumb, she lost major points in my book for not knowing that the gigantic thing in front of her was the space needle…seriously…
Lincee, AWESOME recap.
Jeremy is SUCH a pretentious Dallas douchebag; seriously, the PRISTINE condo with the anal-retentive closet and then leaving his bar notes up in the bedroom? Who would keep that crap up in their bedroom of all places AFTER the Bar was over? He and DD deserve each other.
I hope she doesn’t pick Jesse - he is a FIND and totally too good for DD.
She is coming off more and more desperate and psycho each week. 3 kids by 30! Blink Blink! It MUST happen!
I love Jesse, but I really don’t think they would be happy being married. They’re too different - she would get annoyed with his being so laid back, and she’s much too prissy for him to be with in the long run. Which makes me sad, because poor sweet Jesse is so awesome.
I think she’ll end up with Jeremy - he’s ready for marriage, he has an unattached life (relatively) and they have the mother connection. Douchebaggy as be may be, I don’t really think she’d fit with anyone else.
Another great Lincee recap! One of my favorite lines: “Nothing says “nice to meet you kid” like a Titleist.”
I sure hope she hits it off with one of the other guys.
I guess I am one of the few that really likes Jeremy. I think he is sweet and sensitive and really into her, not to mention he has a killer body!
Sure he looks “vanilla” on the show, but we all know by now just how effective editing can be in swaying our opinion one way or the other. I think Jesse’s a great guy but more friend material. Love Jason, but I don’t think he’s right for her. I’m for Jeremy all the way!
Oh, and I loved the Jem reference, too - freaking hilarious.
she’s totally pickin graham… i don’t know how they will make it happen - but i believe it will… HOW can she pick one of the other dudes when she hearts g-bag.
Does anyone else think that Germy’s sweet dog’s name, “Chemo”, is just a tad morbid?
The golf ball was not weird or off putting or strange.
Does no ome remember that Ty plays golf. It was featured in the introduction during the first episode. The episode I fell for Jason. He is a tad bit clingy but it seems his ex-wife stomped his heart and shredded it in a meat grinder!!!! I HEART JASON & TY!!! The cutest 3 year old on TV!!!!
As for the meal at Jesse’s….people have you never cooked a meal and transported it all in aluminum bins!!! Y’all ave got to get out more. It is totally no fuss clean up. He told you his parents struggled financially. Jesse may just be from the hood.
I stil choose Jason…I believe Ellen Degeneres told her pick him too. I watched the Memorial Day episode of ellen and DDanna told her she was always right when E said she would pick Jason.
Graham was weird…hit the bricks, dude!!! He is too good looking, like a playa from the Himalayas!! That’s why he was relieved. He is just like we been saying about the girls all along… he wanted exposure for his charity (or he would not have mentioned it on the 1st or 2nd night). J-Dog (Jesse) never mentioned his charity until last night - cool..
BUT JASON is MY PICK!!!! I’ll even risk frizzy Sister-girlfriend hair for that young cutey pie!!!
#107 - I’m guessing the dog’s name is actually spelled “Kemo”, short for “Kemosabe” which is a native american word for friend.
Jem is “EXCITEMENT”: http://youtube.com/watch?v=20BZID081Vk
Oh, the memories. Thanks, Lincee!!!
I thought we were getting a monkey update from Shayne and Matty? Lincee, any word on that front? I saw that he moved out, but apparently they’re still together. I’m gonna need another Bachelor success story soon, especially after watching VH1’s marathons of Bob, Jesse and Byron in a row on my tivo! I <3 Tivo!!
Am I the only one who JUST saw Jesse on MTV’s MADE? Where’ve I been?
#102 - anal-retentive closet….seriously! i was watching with a friend and our mouths literally fell open when Jeremy revealed his OCD behind the closet door.
And did i miss something or did DD and graham’s family not have dinner at the hometown date?? it was like they were there for 15 min. and then went outside and sat on that bench.
I remember from one of the first shows Jason saying that his ex decided to “go another way” Not sure what the heck that means?? Who leaves those two behind? Ridiculous. Seriously.
Thanks, #109. I kinda wondered the same thing. Guess the spelling/grammar police let that one get away!
#50 - I am from Mississippi, “the dumbest state in the nation,” and I know what the Space Needle is! I was appalled that DD didn’t know! I mean, come on!
And…for the questiion I posted last night…do they have to sign something saying that they will never date someone they’ve “kicked off” the show…like, can DD ever date Graham again if it didn’t work out with the others?
I agree with a lot of you…I don’t think she deserves Jesse or Jason. She and Jeremy seem to be deserving of one another and I feel like she will choose him.
All righty…I adore this blog and Lincee, she is IT! I have a couple things to say:
Graham’s mother said it all. Nothing more to say. He is stand-offish, so be it, his mother all but said that.
Jesse is a nice guy. He, his folks and DD don’t match. If she picks him I will be shocked.
Jeremy, oh LORD…they are a match, but not for life.
Jason, he is a Jew, his folks are Jewish. She will never become Jewish, she is Greek, which is HUGE, and so is Jewish, so let’s see that combine.
Out of the three J’s…she will pick Jeremy, for the “perfect” life but it won’t be THAT perfect. For those of you asking about his condo…it is $369, 910 on the Dallas Apprasial market.
Well done LIncee - deep and provoking thoughts about this show that enlightens us about love and how to find it - or something like that. In any case, it’s fun to watch and as much fun to read blogs such as yours. Your honesty is so appreciated!! Don’t know if I’m on Team Jesse - but, I found him a little more attractive and masculine and deeper than I thought he was. But, can’t see DD living in Breckenridge or in his world for long. She’d be running the show just out of sheer boredom. Of course, she plays it up for the camera so to keep us watching and guessing. Jeremy is verrrrrrry organized but seems to be bored with himself and his perfect world — he needs a litttle Southern spunk to liven things up —- and maybe DeAnna’s just the one to bring some life to his very dull townhouse. She needs to redecorate - please –that furniture - Swedish style — so dull - no color or interest. It just may be how Jeremy’s feeling inside after losing his mother - colorless and dull emotionally. I think, though, that they could be a good pair - he has so much maturity and stability and a good head on his shoulders — to the point where DeAnna stops the control bit and seems to just let him lead –she respects him as a man, not a boy. And, maybe she needs that - someone that she can’t control. Graham is just not the ticket —he’s a boy and still in high school emotionally. He doesn’t want to commit to a flea — he’s a late bloomer and may stay that way - and would make DD nutcakes after awhile. Then there’s Jason —just too sweet and gushy. Can’t believe he was jumping up and down when he saw her — be cool for once —his 3-year-old son would do that when seeing his dad. Can’t see them together except on camera. But, truly, a nice person and will be a lucky girl to find him.
Good luck with the T-shirts and contributions to his cause!!!
Cool blog. Can someone fill me in on what DDAHnna means… I know I’m lame…
I personally like all the guys for different reasons but probably none of them would be a great fit for DD, but totally agree that Jesse is pretty great (MUCH better than I initially thought) and Jason is just too sweet for words. The only thing I will say is that the closest fit is probably Jeremy since he is totally into her and willing to commit. I think if she’s smart, she’d pick him. However, if you watched all the promos for the upcoming season you’d have seen what looks to me like the back of Jeremy’s head and her telling him that she had to let him go before he fell even more in love with her. Not sure if that was creative editing, but it really looks like him and not any of the others and that scene still hasn’t played out on any episode. I tend to watch for these clues all along and so far none have been misleading. Also, when asked about Jeremy on that “DeAnna tells all” show the way she said that all of her family and friends think she should pick Jeremy because he’s so perfect tells me she probably doesn’t pick him. Maybe ABC has fooled me; we’ll see.
Amazing recaps as always…love the excuse to laugh out loud!!
Love the blog - always, and just watched the show on-line. Jesse - new fantasy for me: snowboarding piggyback on a hot dude down the slopes! His parents: fantastic, loved them! Jeremy - I respect where he comes from and what he’s accomplished. And I cried. Jason, respect his family and the utter devotion to his son - cried again. Actually, was a teary mess for this episode. Grahame - odd bird still. And just not that into it. I will say, I have immense respect for all of the families that were on this episode - they seemed heartfelt and sincere. This show and this blog, addictive!
#107 - I think Jeremy’s dog is Kemo - like the Lone Ranger’s pal…sorry I don’t know how to spell Kemo-sabe?!
#119 I think you may be right, when she says all my family thinks I should pick Jeremy… I thought, oh, noooo! They are so right, tell me you listened DD!!
Random stuff I noticed:
Jesse has a small refrigerator in his bedroom….and a freakin’ huge tv like 12 feet away from the bed! Jesse told his father…”my heart beats when I am around her”. Jesse we would be seriously upset if it wasn’t! He looked terrified when he talked about the future with DD.
Did anyone notice that Jeremy’s dinner was Mexican food… DD’s favorite food!
Did you guys notice the baseball bat in Jeremy’s living room, his brother was holding it??
Did anyone else notice how Jason is always asking DD….what are you thinking about xxx, what are you worried about….so far this season it must be like 6 times!
I totally see a love story between DD and Jeremy, they were so snuggled into each other in front of the fire, and that kiss, really chemistry! I sure hope you detectives are wrong!
Don’t get me wrong, I really think DD cares for Jason too, and he is cute as can be. But it was the father idea that she really loved. We women are suckers for that - watching a man with a child he truly loves. If she picks him, it is because of Ty!
Lincee, you rock! Can’t wait for the fantasy suite episode. On the previews for next week, why didn’t they show Jeremy’s reaction to the forego card? They showed Jason accept and Jesse say he’d have to meet her dad, but what about Jeremy? Did I miss it? Also, I can’t WAIT to hear what DD’s big secret is.
#124 Santorini, They did not show Jeremy’s reaction! I so do not want DD to break his heart! He seems to be the most vulnerable. Some people say he is too perfect, sure his house is spotless, and the ABC intern insisted on hanging his bar exam notes on the wall. (So says one of Jeremy’s friends about his notes.)
My boyfriend’s house was spotless when I came over too. Now, that we are married NOT so much! It is called dating.
#77 Nikki - “Add Graham to that, and you’re gnoshing a little slice of Heaven.” Haha! Exactly!
#90 Chelsea (#2) - I will sign that petition! Maybe we can get a bazillion signatures via email and have Lincee send it to OHCH.
#93 Raves4Richard - Deanna reveals she’s really a man??
#107 mothercita - I didn’t even get the Chemo dog name until your post…maybe it is because his mom had cancer?
#120 kerry - this blog is definitely addictive! Everytime I come home, I hit the laptop and see how many more comments have been posted while I was gone and am always excited to see there’s a ton!
Some varying comments about Jeremy on that abovethelaw.com article that talks about him being on the show:
“Okay, I havent commented on these before, but I decided to go ahead on this one.
I nominated Jeremy for the show. (I thought he would have made a better Bachelor than Bachelorette contestant… but oh well). He really is such an amazing person - very sweet, super attractive, really smart guy. He has only good things to say about Hunton, and he has lots of options right now with firms. I clerked with him during his first half clerkship last summer (but in a different office), and really the only thing wrong with him was that he worked too hard! He didn’t let himself have time for a relationship. I think the Bachelorette is great for him! I dont understand why so many people are being so rude!”
“Hate to ruin it for those who love Jeremy, but I happen to know from personal experience that he’s not all that nice! He dated my best friend, and was a complete jerk. Makes me sick watching him act like such an angel…don’t buy it ladies, he’s there for the money alone and the contestants on this show get paid A LOT to be there! I know for a fact he has tried to date my friend again since returning from the show, so if he is the last man standing, he’s an even bigger jerk than I thought. If there is any truth to this show whatsoever, my vote would be on Jason who seems the most real.” Do they really get paid??
Here’s that same article about Jeremy that has been posted before, but this one has 4 comments…two of them say his dad died from diabetes….Someone before posted that it was heart failure. http://www.topix.com/city/trinity-tx/2008/06/former-trinity-man-takes-part-in-the-bachelorette
Recap of Graham on last night’s show from some website for his college, Appalachian State: http://www.appfan.com/blog/?p=1102
This link from FORT has a few pics of Graham..supposedly from his facebook page. Apparently it’s not on there anymore: http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forums/bachelorette-spoilers-speculation/74721-graham-spoilers-9.html
116 Lisa: I had wondered about Jason (where did you find the info, I have had that gut feeling all along)…now he is ALL MINE GIRLS, ALL MINE!!!!!
#126 Randee - it’s on his theknot.com wedding website. his ceremony had jewish traditions.
#122 MissingMeeps–I saw the bat, too. I thought maybe he was channeling Tom Cruise’s character in “A Few Good Men.” That, or he was ready to bash the blink right out of DD.
I’ve got two conspiracy theories re: the shocking secret. Jesse was the friend…wow, you dressed up…to pull the guys out of their shell and be themselves. she then fell for him. oops. Or Graham, perhaps they knew or dated before. Another thing… Did the bench outside the rose ceremony happen before the rose ceremony & he had to attend & then she escorted him out to the limo??? He may have asked to leave for present circumstances and resume dating when the show ended. She said “if you leave…” She then hastily walks into the ceremony after drying her eyes. Or I could be completely wrong. She was scared & cut him…then she realized after he gave her the card, she was dumb. He could have opened up finally, finally he became so invested and needed to share with her and it not be on camera.
First and foremost, thank you for the almost entirely gratuitous McDreamy photo. Far more effective than my latte in perking up the morning.
Second, as much as I’m partly on Team Jesse - love the hilarity and sincerity, but otherwise too young for my taste - DD just isn’t attracted to him. And as much as I get uncomfortable watching the smooching on this show, Jesse’s long-awaited performance looked pretty A+. What a dark horse, but I do think she just isn’t that into him.
Third, as a lawyer-type, that Bar notes left all over the house is sadly normal. I still am on Team Jeremy to make it to the final 2, vanilla or not. The “perfect” & hawtness (LOVE the freckles) will carry him through.
Fourth, Lincee hit the nail on the head with DD - as much as she wants kids, she isn’t really comfortable with them. I also don’t see chemistry here, but with DD wanting a family so badly, I say Jason makes it to the Final 2.
Fab episode & recap!
let me correct myself on my last post… deanna said “when you leave.” he could have orchestrated to speak with someone off air - they don’t tap cell phones…it’s ABC. she may have been letting him know the rules. i still say there was a family obligation he had to tend to, but wanted to continue being with her…
#45 Carolina… Snowboarders that share a house aren’t “professional snowboarders”, they are board bums, they work on the mountain or in town and smoke the mary jane like it is going out of style. They even have a group for themselves…Colorado = Republic of Shred… and of course they don’t make money because they work for minimum wage and spend their money on booze and weed.
But those, like our Jesse, who compete, can make bank, and that is proven by the some of the competing boarders who have purchased large homes in Breckenridge and the surrounding Summit County areas. Jesse is obviously a smart cookie if he can buy two properites - one to live in and one to invest in as a vacation rental.
I really think Jeremy has the most to lose if she sends him packing. He is totally invested and it sounds like he’s kind of wrapped up in “work” or whatever and hasn’t had time for a relationship. I just think they will work the best long term…
But I really have no idea whats going to happen. I am DYING to know her “secret”!!!
FYI #117
Referring to someone as a “Jew” is considered offensive. Jewish is the appropriate word.
I think her big secret was that she had a spy…perhaps it was Twilley?? Would make sense as to why he stuck around for so long. She didn’t want to risk getting dumped at the Home Depot pedestal again…so she has a spy to scope out all the guys and what they are saying about her.
Well I was thinking about learning to snowboard before but now I will definitely be heading to A Basin to take lessons from Jesse! He is such a cutie!
And I hope her “secret” is something scandalous and not stupid…maybe she’s pregnant with Hottie Than Crap Brad’s baby or maybe she’s already marriedwhoever she picks (if anyone, I’m still convinced she’ll pull a Brad)! It’s probably just something silly and they’re trying to play up the drama.
I’ve loved Jeremy since day 1…even if he seems boring…he is still easy on the eyes and seems like such a sweet guy (that’s pretty rare in Dallas)!
I’m not on team anyone yet…I think she is crazy and is just in love with the idea of getting married. Probably better for all of them if she doesn’t pick anyone.
GREAT recap Lincee!!
good call #138…. “just in love with the idea of getting married.” I have many friends that went through that. I was called the starter marriage. I hope thats not the case. I would not wish that on anyone!
*Hotter Than Crap Brad…oops!
Couple things…
Did anyone else love when Jesse called himself out at dinner for not kissing DD!! I thought that was hilarious!
Also, a friend of mine was in Vegas for work last week and ran into Jeremy at a club. Jeremy hung out with their work group for a couple of hours. One of the girls in the group was begging Jeremy for some inside scoop and all he would say is that we would be very suprised by the ending. Interesting….
#141 - Does that mean Jeremy is around until the end since he knows what happens? I get so confused if they all know what happens once they get booted or do they have to watch it on tv like the rest of us?
For what it’s worth, I’ll also chime in and say that I don’t think there is anything all that unusual about Jeremy still having his bar review notes up. It can take 3-5 months for the results to be released after you take the bar, so I know I personally kept all my study materials sitting in their box in my living room until after I found out that I had passed, just in case I might need them again!
#141 Megan, what did she say he was like? Was he flirting alot, etc?
I can see DD having a mole or spy, especially after “what she went thru with Brad” etc, etc, but don’t see how it could be Jesse. Where would she have known him before, he’s in Col., she’s in GA, completely diff. lifestyles, etc. Now Twilley I can see. That’s a fun angle to consider.
#142 - Jeremy must be around for VERY end (or she ends the show early, breaks up with them all and runs after Graham), because remember last season when Brad didn’t pick DeAHnna, Jenni didn’t know until the show aired. She thought he had picked DeAHnna the whole time.
#141 Megan - that IS interesting.
#133 bach addict - if that is the case, that he had to leave bc of a family obligation he had to tend to, but wanted to continue being with her, well that sux for her, bc really, what can you do? He was the one she liked the best, but you know Fleiss and company aren’t going to have their precious show ruined. Think about it,,,the producers probably aren’t going to halt the show to wait for him, so then she just has to continue on with the other three for the show’s sake, knowing she really wants the one that can’t be there??? SUCKY!
Here’s my guess as to what happens….
Somewhere I read or heard that, and I loosely quote, “the rose ceremony that ended it all”….so I think she goes on the overnight dates and when it comes down to the rose ceremony where she is supposed to eliminate one of them she tells all of them that she just can’t pick any of them and doesn’t want to lead them on the way she was led on. Graham came back (like the crazy girl on Jesse-football player’s season) and DeAnna just knew she had to be with him and that it would be unfair to be with any of the remaining three. So she picks Graham in the end! I’ll bet a dollar on that ending…..just from the snippet “the rose ceremony that ended it all”…..
#145 - That’s what I thought, that wh
