#29 Married with eyes- I agree that it’s Lincee’s blog that makes the season- so Mimi Melba or Gardetto, you know we’ll have a great write-up either way. And I thought it was insightful that you think Jason will look for someone to “fix”. Interesting prediction. #15 Laurie- the hoplets of happiness term is pure genius- love it!

#21- My cousin went through the casting process to be on Brad’s Bachelor season. She sent in a video and the producer got in touch with her. She was interviewed and asked lots of questions like, “what would you do if a girl in the house was trying to start a fight with you?” and “what sorts of things would you do to get the Bachelors attention?”, etc. She felt like they were trying to find out IF she would be a drama queen or doing something stupid. Anyway, she thought she was going to be on the show, as she was flown at to L.A. to start shooting. She had to stay in her hotel room almost all day because the producers didn’t want her to meet any of the other girls. Right before taping was about to start, a producer came to her room and told her she wasn’t going to be on the show. At least for that season, the producers got more girls than they needed and made last minute cuts. She was pretty disappointed, but they did give her some $$$ for her trouble (like $500). Apparently the girls do NOT get paid to be on the show, so this was better than getting cut in the first rose ceremony.

Yeah, Stephanie. . .I was wondering that, too. I know everybody thinks Jason is sweet and a great dad; however, consider all the time he is spending away from his beloved son for his 15 minutes of fame. You gotta ask, what is his real motivation here? Is he really this genuine guy seeking true love or just another Bachelor looking for hot tub adventures and air time? Have some Gardettos and ponder that for a spell.

I also watch Big Brother and one of the houseguests, Libra, was accused of being a bad mom for leaving her 3 children to be on the show. She did have great support at home and was in line to win a huge cash prize. There was a $500,000 prize that was a clear motivator for her. If she did leave her babies in good hands, then maybe trying to win half a million dollars for her family makes some sense. Jason going on the Bachelor shows more than once to seek his “temporary” true love (which lasts about as long as his 15 minutes of fame), makes less sense. He is unlikely to find lasting romance and he is missing important parts of his son’s childhood.

ok – for those bachelorette fans – random sighting…I was watching Janice Dickenson’s Modeling Agency on Oxygen and she has a new deaf model with a translator…that translator looked awfully familiar and it took me about 10 minutes…but it is Jerry from the Bachelorette season with Jen (dumped by Andrew Firestone). I always thought he was hot and he still is…and if I remember correctly, his parents were deaf. And, yes, I watch JD Modeling Agency for the pure fun of it! :0)

ummm… he might even be a rice cake…. with literally no. taste. at. all. bland. boring. somebody help us. we need a new show.
on the other hand, maybe jason will surprise us. or maybe jeremy will come crawling back and try to get deahhna back and then realize that show was over a long time ago.
