We went last weekend in Dallas and it was FANTASTIC!! I felt like I was 15 all over again. We were super annoyed that there was not an XL to be found in most the shirts. Did they not realize most their fans had aged and so had their bodies? Anyways, it was so worth every penny to be there. Sorry you missed it! OMG, love the recap. I too saw them in '89 and it was AWESOME! It was my first concert and I couldn't wait to see them! I had center stage seats, however they were the last level up, last row back and they looked like ants unless I was looking through the binoculars I brought with me. Now, almost 20 years later I work in the concert industry and will actually be BACKSTAGE for part of the evening, of course, not missing one minute of the show because that would be crazy! Thats right - they were right by me!!!! (I'm not ashamed to say that I was excited because I made EYE CONTACT with 3 of them) HAHA My cousin and I felt like kids again it was great! OH MY GOSH!! You TOTALLY missed out! My BFF and I had seen them 3 times in our younger days, but what we witnessed in San Antonio last Friday night was by far, the BEST! The only way I can really describe it is surreal (hey. wasn't Jordan on the Surreal LIfe? Wasn't he too good to be hanging tough with the other castmates?)! I'll admit. . for the first 10 minutes, I did nothing but laugh!!! And I lost count of how many times I put my hands over my eyes in disbelief of what I was witnessing. But soon enough, my inner teenager broke free, and I was right there with my BFF (who wasted no time regressing back to being 16), swooning and screaming! I too had the spotlight dream, but it was for Jonathan (because he's too pretty to be called just "Jon") to realize that his dream of everlasting love had come true (with me)! Well, I do believe it happened Friday night! We were very close to the "piano stage" and as it rotated, Jon and I locked eyes for 3.2 seconds, and he smiled. . not the nervous smile he had on his face the whole night, but a truly genuine "I love you, want to marry you and have babies with you" smile!
