  1. adriana Said,

I want to see the movie, even though I’m not completely addicted yet. Glad you liked it!

  2. Christy Said,

Started reading the book Saturday night, finished it last night and now I can’t wait to go see the movie. I’m glad to hear you liked it!

  3. Rebecca Said,

    100% cheese… 100% AWESOME.

  4. Julie Said,

I know exactly what you mean by ” don’t move “! Ahhh! My favorite part. I wish there would have been more ” romantic” scenes, but overall I liked the movie a lot!

  5. Janine Said,

I’m waiting until the hordes of screaming 15 year-olds dies down so I can see it with my other addicted friend (who is going to lend me Breaking Dawn when we see each other since I don’t have it – but it’s on my christmas list).

She’s a little hesitant. She has to see it of course, I’ve been bouncing in my chair everytime I see a trailer online, but she says that the actors aren’t how she’s pictured the characters in her head so she’s not sure if she’ll like it as much as she could because if it.

I’m just super excited and everytime someone says the word “twilight” or “edward” or others, in regard to anything, I’m all perked up but they laugh at me because it’s not what they were talking about at all.

  6. Char Char Said,

I think the chemistry they (Edward and Bella) had on screen was AMAZING!!! I really believed. The story kind of jumped around, and if you have not read the book, you could get confused…….but otherwise EXCELLENT!

    But again……….I’m all for a love story……

  7. Amy Said,

I liked it! Bella was perfectly casted and I got a big kick out of Mike, too. :) But what’s with all the makeup? I had a hard time finding that as inhumanly beautiful as Edward is supposed to be…

  8. Jaime Said,

I loved it too! My favorite part was listening to the teen girls’ reaction when Jacob appeared for the first time. I leaned over to my friend and said, “Wait til they show Edward for the first time.” The tweens did not disappoint. Loved the shrieks! Great show!

  9. Brittney Said,

I was disappointed in the movie as a whole (they left out a lot of key intricacies that I thought were very important), but LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED Robert Pattinson as Edward.

OMG that last scene where he dipped her to kiss her neck…I was on the edge of my seat!!! I wish the whole movie left me feeling that way–since the book did.

I think I was one of the lucky few whose midnight screening was NOT ruined by teeny boppers–sure, they were there in droves, but they somehow managed to contain themselves throughout the film. Except, of course, when Edward first appeared, but hey–can’t blame them for squealing over that one!

  10. marla Said,

i LOVED the tweens and the screaming and the drama! it made it even more fun – it was light hearted good old fashioned fun! can’t wait for the other movies. :)

  11. Shelley Said,

Well….I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. BUT the movie is never as good as the book. I felt like it went too fast and we didn’t really get a chance to see their love develop. It was more like they met and she was ready to die. But I suppose they can only do so much in two hours. Don’t get me wrong I’m really glad I saw it this weekend and I’m thrilled that they’ve greenlit (greenlighted?) New Moon and will see that opening weekend as well.

  12. faboo Said,

LOVED it. Favorite part is when he says “I’m going to hell anyways” and puts his arm around Bella. *swoon. My love affair with Edward continues…..
AND they just sold movie rights to make films out of the rest of the series. AND did anyone catch Stephenie Meyer’s cameo in the film?????

  13. A gift for all of the twilight fans... Said,

I haven’t read it yet myself but I hear good things. Supposedly Stephanie Meyer began to write the first book from Edwards perspective but it got leaked so she stopped. No idea how much truth there is to it but…

  14. Malita Said,

I loved the books so much I’m afraid to be disappointed…

  15. Cristina Said,

I waited in line with all the 15 yr olds on Friday night. LOVED the movie, even though it was very cheesy. I admit I also found Edward a little lacking as the perfect man, but then I am also a little older than their target audience! :) Where can I get one of those “Bite Me” shirts!? Team Edward!!

  16. faboo Said,

You can get a “BIte Me” tshirt transfer at http://www.faboo.etsy.com.
    xoxo-Bloodsucker at heart!

  17. newfan Said,

Ya’ll were right, these books are like crack. I’m addicted! I bought the book yesterday, finished it this morning, and I’ve got the shakes trying to get through Thanksgiving meal so I can see the movie. To my horror, the bookstore is closed today and I’m trying to find a way to get my hands on the 2nd book!

  18. Hannah Said,

Already saw it twice. First time around I loved Bella and hated Edward. Second time around I loved Edward and hated Bella. So who knows? Going back and rereading I think Edward was true to character, Bella maybe not as much. I don’t picture her in my mind as awkward as Kristen Stewart was…but maybe that’s because I always picture myself instead! :)

  19. Mississippi Miss Said,

Mr Edward Cullen is yummy yummy YUMMY! Liked the books better too-But sure appreciated all the visuals that went along with the movie-My James was not nearly so HOT!

  20. Forever Young Said,

You “girls” are way to preoccupied with this age stuff. One of my best friends (age 25) gave me the first book to read after I had asked what all the frenzy was about Twilight. I saw the movie trailer and how incredibly delicious Robert Pattinson looked so I had the great fortune of reading while picturing him as “my Edward.” I read Twilight on Saturday, borrowed the second book from a friend of my son (age 20) on Sunday and read it that day. My son took me to see the movie the next Wednesday and I’m headed to the bookstore this afternoon to pick up book three with another friend (age 43) who is also addicted. Can’t wait to find out how the rest of the story goes. Love the books . . . loved the movie! Told my husband not to be too offended if I said the name Edward in my sleep. And, yes . . . I too love Gossip Girl (watch it with my 17 year old daughter), Bachelor (of course this blog is the best part!!) and Charlie Brown (watch it with my 8 year old son). Life is too much fun to be defined by the number of birthdays you have celebrated! BTW I’m celebrating my 52nd in February.

  21. beek Said,

I will be the first to say that I thought Robert Pattinson was hot breakfast in the Harry Potter movies. Since then he has just become smokin’ hot. I loved him in Twilight and cannot WAIT for the rest of the movies!!!

  22. Janine Said,

Saw it on monday and loved it. There were somethings that I missed from the books but I mean you’re cramming all that book into 2 hrs, they have to cut some stuff right?

Once of my favorite scenes was Edward playing the piano. I melted.

I’m looking forward to having it on DVD in about 6 months. At one point I said to my friend “did you see x in that last scene?” and wished I had a rewind feature to go back and see it again (of course I can’t remember now what it was).

Another friend came with us and she hadn’t read any of the books and said that it held her attention for the full thing, so that’s good for people who aren’t obsessed with the books. Now we’re pressuring her to read them all.
