There is SO much speculation going on since the bombshell dropped that there’s a huge twist this season: theories like he proposes to one and then takes it back and asks another, he proposes and she says no so he asks another, he lets someone go and then changes his mind and brings her back, someone drops out on her own accord and then comes back. I don’t know what to believe so I’ll just have to watch. The spoiler sites are a little addicting though

I actually was a bit embarrassed to watch the making out scene with Jason and Jillian…I keep reading these posts about her going home, but I don’t know. I think there was some ackwardness between him and Molly during dinner when they were discussing her parents’ affection toward each other. My parents are not affectionate with each other, but they always hugged me and my brother. I don’t think that is any indication of whether someone is affectionate or not. Molly is annoying to me and I agree…her smile looks plastered on. I was personally rooting for Stephanie the whole time, but now I’m pulling for Melissa. So disappointed he didn’t fall for Jillian but the heart wants what the heart wants. I don’t see him and Melissa lasting and I don’t think they have shown us the depth of the connection with Molly. I was very sad for her. I think he is a bit more superficial than I originally thought. He is focusing on attraction much more than I initially thought he would. Melissa is my fave, BUT I am so disappointed that Jillian is gone. I was just sure that Molly would be gone – Ugh! Okay, so I keep thinking about the clips of the final rose ceremony that they showed at the beginning of the season…fingernails people. Melissa completely has acrylic, fake nails. And the hand they showed was one with more natrual looking nails. Molly on the other hand was sporting red nails. Obviously they can change the color but they can’t change the acrylic that easily. I am in support if Jill making a come back. And THAT is why DD says, if you haven’t given the final rose it is not too late.

First, I think it’s possible that the clip they showed in the beginning of Jason on one knee was a clip from the Bachelorette when he was on one knee to Deanna because the girl’s dress color was the same. It’s possible. Also, this is the first time (apart from Brad Womack) when they didn’t show clips of the girls getting dressed and ready to be proposed to….
I think this is because he picks Melissa, but tells her that he can’t propose until he’s met her parents and asked them for permission. Sooooo, that’s the part that OHCH was talking about keep “private” because that’s when all that is going to happen!!!

Melissa’s rose ceremony dress was hideous – circa my “Under the Sea” prom in the 90s. But, she gets the ring – it is obvious. He is soooooo smitten with her – she is talking and he just kisses are mid-sentence. Molly just isn’t emotional and he can tell that by her parents, and well, I think our boy J likes a gal that’s a little needy and going to be ooey gooey with the I love yous. Molly was not raised ooey-gooey, so she just isn’t like that. And Melissa, honey, you have been crapped on by every guy you have ever dated – maybe that’s because you fall in love after 5 dates.
On the proposal, note in the “one knee” shots there is a pinkie ring…a silver one – like Melissa wears all the time on her right hand (thank you, Claud, for pointing it out). MAYBE – in the most dramatic “FINAL ROSE EVER” – they bring Melissa’s parents to New Zeland, where he gets on one knee and then they come out too, and he has met them… Just a thought…

I have truly felt something wierd about this season. I don’t know if it is the edit, I feel like we have missed out on a bunch of stuff…which of course we always do, with 99% of the interaction on the cutting room floor…but it is really noticeable this time. With 2 hour shows we should feel just the opposite! We see something in a preview and never again…
IMHO the reason they “fall” for more than one person is that it is the way the show is set up. In real life if you have the hots/attraction for someone you don’t usually feel inclined to date a few other people at the same time. One is usually the front runner and you lose interest in the others. But with a whole staff of people stirring the pot and being forced to spend time with several you see the good in them and continue to spend time with them. It is the format that is to blame…
I have a fun theory, how about Jason confronts Molly with the fact that she is an alcoholic and stages an intervention??

About the Mol being pregnant theory: I doubt Jason would get a girl preggers on the show. He’s a big boy and was married and gets the whole “birth control” concept. Hopefully, anyway. Plus there are probably a lot of avenues for protection planted at each date site, just in case the couple decides to pursue things further.

Okay, I’m just wondering if it may be a religious issue. We’ve all beat that one to death after Naomi went home. However, I know Jason is Jewish, and if Molly and Melissa are both Christian, this may pose a BIG issue for someone, or their family. This is not to say that there is anything wrong with interfaith marriage, but it can be a very heavy thing, and does have big issues that need to be addressed BEFORE there’s any major commitment.

Another editing annoyance from last night…the final three pictures duing his deliberation. First it was Jillian, Molly then Melissa. Then, maybe they flipped the shot, later it is Melissa, Molly then Jillian. I think it was flipped b/c at first Meliisa and Molly are photos of them “facing right” but when they order changes, they are then “facing left.” I had to stop and rewind this on my DVR last night b/c it was bugging the crap out of me.
Also, the DD over the balcony was footage from HER season. She is in the black dress she wore to the magic date. The other girls and their supposed reaction? They were the girls looking up at the pool party (probably when Shannon threw ice) and the voices were VOICE OVERS. Which means they spliced them looking up with another reaction (likely when the bouncer comes to pick up one of the 2-1 date bags).

Have you seen the episode of Family Guy where Brian goes on the Bachelorette and gets picked in the end? and then the bachelorette just walks away from Brian saying, “well it was nice knowing you.” And Brian refuses to believe that it was all a sham. Re: the previews for next week’s show. It cracks me up how ABC talks about the “Bachelor couples who have made it”. They show clips of the golden couple Trista and Ryan (clips that we’ve seen a gazillion times) for, say 1 whole minute, they show a 3-second flash of Charlie and Sarah (ABC’s thinking…hmmmm we can’t be sure they’ll be “on again” at the time of the airing of the next episode) and they don’t even mention the ticking timebomb that is Byron and Mary! Just FYI – Molly is not pregnant. I work at the same company she does, and if she were pregnant, everyone here would know. She told someone that the “moaning” sounds were dubbed in by the producers. She was more than angry and told them that it was extremely embarrasing – esp since her family watched the show.

There is SO much speculation going on since the bombshell dropped that there’s a huge twist this season: theories like he proposes to one and then takes it back and asks another, he proposes and she says no so he asks another, he lets someone go and then changes his mind and brings her back, someone drops out on her own accord and then comes back. I don’t know what to believe so I’ll just have to watch. The spoiler sites are a little addicting though
People keep popping up saying they knew Melissa in high school or are best friend’s with Molly’s boss or know Jillian’s roommate and they have insight into the major shocker. ABC is just rubbing its hands together I’m sure.

OK, as for all the people posting ‘spoilers’….don’t you think also that the ABC intern is working double-time doing his own ‘posts’ to throw everyone off the trail? I would have said Molly before but now I think Jillian might go home tonight. At first that made me sad because JIll is my fave, but now I’m starting to change my mind. She is way too good for this loser of a bachelor. Before I was distracted by something bothering me big time about Molly…but now I’ve forgotten about that because Jason is bothering me more than anything else. He just kind of creeps me out.
omg I can’t believe he’s bringing up how Molly’s parents weren’t cuddling together on the couch during the hometown visit. Not everyone hangs all over each other like teenagers every second, especially when you’re in a real, mature, adult relationship that lasts longer than 6 months. Now, actually, my husband and I are cuddlers…but wouldn’t be on national tv, or even just in front of family…or not every minute of every day. I just can’t believe he brought that up. I don’t like Jason…Molly…maybe they belong together.
I actually was a bit embarrassed to watch the making out scene with Jason and Jillian…I keep reading these posts about her going home, but I don’t know. I think there was some ackwardness between him and Molly during dinner when they were discussing her parents’ affection toward each other. My parents are not affectionate with each other, but they always hugged me and my brother. I don’t think that is any indication of whether someone is affectionate or not. Molly is annoying to me and I agree…her smile looks plastered on. I was personally rooting for Stephanie the whole time, but now I’m pulling for Melissa. I think she’s cute and I think by her giving Jason the little gift for Ty shows that she knows this is more than about finding a mate for Jason, but a step-mommy for little Ty. I hate that her parents didn’t want to meet him because I think he’s going to make this a bigger deal than it really needs to be…I don’t get along with my parents-in-law, but I love my husband with all my heart and that will never change…

I didn’t yell “idiot”. I yelled something else unmentionable on these boards. Here’s what I think happened: he kept saying he was hung up on her desire to marry her “best friend”. I think he married his best friend the first time around – Ty’s Mom. And when it went south, and he lost not only his marriage, but his “best friend”, I think it soured him on the whole concept. Like, in his mind, being best friends will never be enough.

PLEASE, PLEASE tell me someone is going to mention the UNBELIEVABLY awkward kissing scene with J & Mol in the bubble-bath-tub with the very awkward noises that could so easily have been construed as ‘pooting’ noises!! Molly wanted to laugh her a** off and make jokes and J kept trying to kiss her. He is not funny. So many great jokes could have been had at that point. I, for one, highly value funny. I do understand that to fall in love the person has to be more than your best friend. And maybe Jason truly just had a friend thing for Jillian and nothing else. (Sure didn’t seem like it in the hot tub, though.) But what bugs me is he kept talking about it over and over and he seemd AGAINST falling in love and marrying “his best friend.” Oh no, that’s not good enough for him. He wants the passionate, crazy, kinky sex he can get from a professional cheerleader; forget friendship. Give me a break!

I’ve been saying from the start, this guy really has nothing much to offer a woman. He lives in a modest home with his brother and three year old son, and works as a salesman. He’s been the total sleazy make out man on this show. Is he worth crying over? In the REAL world none of them would have given him a second look.

I also don’t think they would make such a big production out of Jason meeting Mel’s parents for the first time. If they are together and happy, it should be an upbeat happy occasion. So disappointed he didn’t fall for Jillian but the heart wants what the heart wants. I don’t see him and Melissa lasting and I don’t think they have shown us the depth of the connection with Molly. Molly seems more mature than Melissa but he and Mel seem to have a very strong bond. I think Jillian is the most wonderful girl and would love to see her as the next bachelorette. I agree with many of the posters tonight that she deserves better than this. The sad part is, she fell for Jason and I believe her feelings were real.
I was very sad for her. I think he is a bit more superficial than I originally thought. He is focusing on attraction much more than I initially thought he would. Jillian to me has the substance, depth, character, maturity and heart to be a good wife and step mom to Ty. Jillian deserves a great guy who loves her for her as she said. She showed how classy and beautiful she is while Jason was telling her good bye. I think few women could be so gracious and loving even at the end. I wish her the best and admire her greatly.

#77: the bathtub scene at the end had me laughing out loud… you DO know what that was, right? that was the ABC intern blowing into a giant straw to make all of those bubbles so big for their kissing shot. ABC intern got soo called out. jason was all about making good tv… since you know, its his second time around and he’s not as distracted by the ABC intern making faking bubbles.
oh yeah, and the hot tub scenes were hil-a-scious. WORST one of the night: jillians. first of all, homegirl wears her HOOKER BOOTS to the jaccuzzi, aye, like they only do that in canada, aye, when you have to walk through the snow to get to the inflatable jaccuzzi in your friends mothers backyard in oshowa, aye. and if that wasnt funny enough, the music screeches and grinds, a pan past a flcikering candle, and all of a sudden it’s like i turned on a soft porn with the music and the grasping and the mounting. yeah, they totally had no chemistry at all.

Did anyone notice that each week Molly keeps reminding us how she would NEVER get into a relationship without her family’s approval? Contrast that with Jason not even meeting Melissa’s family. A theme perhaps? I also think that Melissa seems to be hiding something whenever she talks about her past or her family.

I agree with you LORAC! I almost don’t want her to be the next bachelorette because she has such a better chance at finding a real, quality person in her normal life.
By letting go of the most mature and genuine of the three ladies, I no longer believe Jason went on this journey to find a life partner. Instead, he has chosen to be with someone with whom he has chemistry in the short-term. After tonight, I could care less if things work out for him in the romance department. May Jillian find someone who can handle all that she has to offer. I actually don’t want her to be the next Bachelorette because the odds of finding a real and lasting relationship on this show are slim to none and more often than not, the latter.
I LOVE Melissa!!! i really hope she wins. she is a great big kid at heart from what we see, so i think ty and her with get along great. and its not her place to do ALOT of the parenting anyways, so people who say she isnt ready… i think she is. having 2 kids of my own….if i ever were looking for someone it would definately be someone just to be there for support with my kids and i. Melissa is my fave, BUT I am so disappointed that Jillian is gone. I was just sure that Molly would be gone – Ugh! Poor Jillian, but at least she had the class to tell Jason about her little dream AFTER he eliminated her… duh, woman, tell him BEFore he gives you the axe. At least then he’d think you’re potential mommy potential for Ty. As far as the remaining women, I think I would prefer to see him end with Melissa… I mean at least then he’d end up with the most normal in-law family. I mean, how many times can he play the hat game and not go screaming from the room? After a while golf and art lessons can wear a little thin. At least with Melissa’s family there are always surprises… like she actually does have a mom and a dad!!! I mean, who saw that one coming?

I totally want to be Jillian’s friend…I relate to her on so many levels and liked that she wasn’t just saying things right off the bat b/c that’s what he’d want to hear…her feelings developed over time and not being fake about it *cough Molly* just to say what will get you farther speaks volumes about her character.
Oh and who doesn’t want someone who is independent? Because being dependent and not be able to function without someone – um yeah doesn’t sound very appealing to me. Then all the other person will feel eventually is resentment for said dependent person holding them back. I’d rather have strong, independent person by my side who can step up and really be there when things get rough.
Okay, so I keep thinking about the clips of the final rose ceremony that they showed at the beginning of the season…fingernails people. Melissa completely has acrylic, fake nails. And the hand they showed was one with more natrual looking nails. Molly on the other hand was sporting red nails. Obviously they can change the color but they can’t change the acrylic that easily. I am in support if Jill making a come back. And THAT is why DD says, if you haven’t given the final rose it is not too late.
PS…love Jillian but her dress on fantasy date night made her look like a femme-bot a la Austin Powers. And Melissa looked like she should have been in a St Patty’s Day parade not a rose ceremony.

First, I think it’s possible that the clip they showed in the beginning of Jason on one knee was a clip from the Bachelorette when he was on one knee to Deanna because the girl’s dress color was the same. It’s possible. Also, this is the first time (apart from Brad Womack) when they didn’t show clips of the girls getting dressed and ready to be proposed to….
I think this is because he picks Melissa, but tells her that he can’t propose until he’s met her parents and asked them for permission. Sooooo, that’s the part that OHCH was talking about keep “private” because that’s when all that is going to happen!!!

I liked Jillian, but think she was too “independent” for what Jason wanted in a partner. Now I am not saying that being independent is a bad thing, because it is not. I just get the feeling that Jason wants to be the rock in the relationship and that he wants someone to be dependent on him. I think maybe he thought Jillian did not “need” him.

Melissa’s rose ceremony dress was hideous – circa my “Under the Sea” prom in the 90s. But, she gets the ring – it is obvious. He is soooooo smitten with her – she is talking and he just kisses are mid-sentence. Molly just isn’t emotional and he can tell that by her parents, and well, I think our boy J likes a gal that’s a little needy and going to be ooey gooey with the I love yous. Molly was not raised ooey-gooey, so she just isn’t like that. And Melissa, honey, you have been crapped on by every guy you have ever dated – maybe that’s because you fall in love after 5 dates.
On the proposal, note in the “one knee” shots there is a pinkie ring…a silver one – like Melissa wears all the time on her right hand (thank you, Claud, for pointing it out). MAYBE – in the most dramatic “FINAL ROSE EVER” – they bring Melissa’s parents to New Zeland, where he gets on one knee and then they come out too, and he has met them… Just a thought…

I agree with everyone who says that they view Jason differently after last night’s 2 hour make-out session.
However…I think he simply runs out of things to say. I think most of the times he went in for a kiss was because he didn’t have a response to what they were saying. In Melissa’s case, he had to kiss her to stop himself from professing his love – totally against the rules. In Jillian’s and Molly’s case, he had to cover up that he didn’t share their feelings and anything he said would have given it away. We’ve established that he has NO poker face.

She asks him, “Don’t you have something for me?” He has the fantasy suite card wrapped in the napkin in his lap, I guess, but with the weird angles, camera shots, and the look on his face, it looks like he is slowly unwrapping his, er, trouser region as if, “Why yes, I DO have something for you!” and she is peering down eagerly. I’m so glad y’all mentioned the ill fitting suit Melba Toast was wearing – I thought it was just me being critical. What’s up with that? I’m not sure if it was ill fitting or if it was just out of style. It was like he got the super straight legged suit. Do they have that on suit tags – “straight leg”, “bell bottom”, “full figure”, “skinny twerp”. I didn’t think so!

I was sooo uncomfortable watching Jason and Mol trying to talk…(plus what an terrible step-mom she would make…she admitted she is sarcastic, etc.) Always trying to “one-up” everyone verbally can get old…
I think that Jason was just looking for an excuse with Jillian and the only thing he could grab onto was the “best friends” comment. He was searching for anything to say to justify that he was more attracted to someone else! There is no great way to say, you are hot, smart and cute but there is just something more (intangible-AMAZING) about Melissa…..

Loved the idea that the Jason proposal was a clip from last years DeAnna proposal, but I checked youtube and she doesn’t wear a pinkie ring.
Thought it odd that they barely spent any time with Jillian in the limo as she was leaving- and an odd amount of time on Jason being sad she left. I am thinking she comes back, too.
Agree the Molly date was strained and not smooth conversation.
Agree he kept kissing Melissa mid sentence and the chemistry is definitely there.
Don’t people find it odd that his family is coming to NZ for the girls to meet them? They aren’t flying back to the US? To me, that means either an immediate wedding (but he keeps saying publicly he is ‘engaged’ so that seems to not match up) or there is some weird catch. I think the drama is going to be that he proposes to Melissa, gets down on one knee- and she says no-she says she loves him but can’t marry him until he meets her parents. Then the parents come and meet him “privately- not in front of a studio audience”- and then they officially get engaged.

Am I the only one who thinks Jason looks like Mighty Mouse? I have not been a big fan of him since the Bachelorette. I, along w/ many of ya’ll, am only in this for Lincee’s blog. That being said….ABC has gotten me w/ the super-secret intimate ATFR show. And I’m annoyed we’ve had to wait all season for DDahna’s return. Do we think it’s not going to be until the finale now?
I can’t help thinking that whomever Jason gets together with, she will have to school him on how to dress properly in suits….some of his last few RC ensembles have been mismatched and ill-fitting.
Oh and btw- no offense to the Dallas contingency- but Melissa’s outfits are soo tacky and typical Dallas (I think someone said Cache which is hilarious and dead-on)- and please girl, take off your bathing suit straps when you are out in the sun so you don’t have stupid white tan lines in EVERY dress you wear! Her teeth are too large and way too white they are blinding.

I have truly felt something wierd about this season. I don’t know if it is the edit, I feel like we have missed out on a bunch of stuff…which of course we always do, with 99% of the interaction on the cutting room floor…but it is really noticeable this time. With 2 hour shows we should feel just the opposite! We see something in a preview and never again…
IMHO the reason they “fall” for more than one person is that it is the way the show is set up. In real life if you have the hots/attraction for someone you don’t usually feel inclined to date a few other people at the same time. One is usually the front runner and you lose interest in the others. But with a whole staff of people stirring the pot and being forced to spend time with several you see the good in them and continue to spend time with them. It is the format that is to blame…
I have a fun theory, how about Jason confronts Molly with the fact that she is an alcoholic and stages an intervention??
My husband and I noticed the way Molly always bounces the big nods while she talks to Jason…as if trying to convince herself that this relationship is real. And Jason rejecting the “best friends” relationship? C’mon man, you’ve been married before, and you know that fireworks give way to PB&J and tantrums and chicken pox and Power Rangers. You think Molly’s rock-solid grown-up love will stand that test? I doubt it. I don’t know that Melissa has that staying power either, but I think she stands a better chance than Molly. I don’t think either has any idea what real life with Jason & Ty will be like. Jill was his best shot.
#150 – I read where someone said Jason looks like Curious George (he does!) From reading Chris Harrison’s blog it looks like Jill won’t be coming back. In his blog, he says that at the WTA “My sit-down with Jillian is incredibly emotional, and Jason comes out to face her for the first time since that day back in New Zealand.”
As a feminist who watches this show, maybe I am in the minority (but maybe not, after reading some awesome posts here) but am I the only one fed up with the whole “asking Daddy’s permission” tradition in general? I mean, I guess if you have a great dad and buy into tradition, this could be sweet, but ehh it reeks of sexism and my husband did not ask anyone’s permission to marry me. We’re adults, we made the decision ourselves, it wasn’t pseudo-planned out by my guy and my dad.
Anyway, it will crack me up if Mel is the F1 but Jason can’t/won’t propose or she won’t accept just because they haven’t gone through the meaningless “May I have your daughter’s hand?” baloney. You want her family to accept you? Wait until the cameras are off and you’ve been dating their daughter for a year and treating her well before even suggesting marriage. Blech.

I agree that they’re making way too much out of jason not having met Mel’s family. It’s not like he’d never be able to meet them if they got engaged. I’m a big Jillian fan, and have to admit that I was glad that seh left last night, because she can do so much better. She was totally out of his leauge. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Jason let her go, because he needs someone to need him. Her independance, and strength probably scared him to death.
I’d like to see her as the next Bachelorette, but she really does deserve to find her best friend, and I’m not so sure that she can find that in the short process.

So — here is my prediction for the “most shocking ending in bachelor history” — I’ve been thinking and thinking about it — and last night during the rose ceremony Molly looked completely freaked out, and usually she is smiling. So what if she is pregnant from the night in the tent with Jason and he is going to pick Melissa but he tells Molly he didn’t pick her she drops the pregnancy bomb! That would explain why the topic is “so sensitive” that they had to film without an audience….
Don’t you love how their are nine bajillion theories out there? I can’t believe we have to wait two weeks to find out — and it had better be good!
I hope the shocker is not something like Mel’s parents having to be reluctantly flown in to meet Jason, blah blah, blah. Who cares already? The reluctant parent thing is just not that interesting. A Molly pregnancy would be shocking, but I really hope that’s not the case since I would not wish an unplanned preganancy on anyone (especially when the father is infatuated with someone else).
About the Mol being pregnant theory: I doubt Jason would get a girl preggers on the show. He’s a big boy and was married and gets the whole “birth control” concept. Hopefully, anyway. Plus there are probably a lot of avenues for protection planted at each date site, just in case the couple decides to pursue things further.
I agree with those of you that are offended that he goes so far with each woman on the dates. I don’t think one’s heart can belong to multiple people. Deep down he KNOWS what he wants and who he dreams about when they are aprart, so why be so physical with the other girls? He’s grabbing all the jelly beans he can before the jar gets taken away…

Re: The DD clip. I assume they took a shot of her waving from a balcony and then showed clips of all the girls freaking out. She never went to the house in CA an met all the girls. She only went to NZ. It’s an excellent example of how the show splices and dices everything to an insane degree to make us believe a total fabrication. I am not shocked they are “saving” DD for the final episode…

Okay, I’m just wondering if it may be a religious issue. We’ve all beat that one to death after Naomi went home. However, I know Jason is Jewish, and if Molly and Melissa are both Christian, this may pose a BIG issue for someone, or their family. This is not to say that there is anything wrong with interfaith marriage, but it can be a very heavy thing, and does have big issues that need to be addressed BEFORE there’s any major commitment.

I think that ABC is (again) editing things to make us think a certain way. When it shows Jason crying over the porch, that is probably not when he is with Deanna!! I bet she is coming to tell him to be careful about proposing to someone before you actually get to know them (which is what happened to her!). Who knows!! I can’t wait till 2 weeks to find out!! I hate that we have to wait that long!!

Another editing annoyance from last night…the final three pictures duing his deliberation. First it was Jillian, Molly then Melissa. Then, maybe they flipped the shot, later it is Melissa, Molly then Jillian. I think it was flipped b/c at first Meliisa and Molly are photos of them “facing right” but when they order changes, they are then “facing left.” I had to stop and rewind this on my DVR last night b/c it was bugging the crap out of me.
Also, the DD over the balcony was footage from HER season. She is in the black dress she wore to the magic date. The other girls and their supposed reaction? They were the girls looking up at the pool party (probably when Shannon threw ice) and the voices were VOICE OVERS. Which means they spliced them looking up with another reaction (likely when the bouncer comes to pick up one of the 2-1 date bags).
What if ABC is punking Jason or all of us? Molly and Melissa are actors and in the end they both say no to him because they know its just a silly show. Have you seen the episode of Family Guy where Brian goes on the Bachelorette and gets picked in the end? and then the bachelorette just walks away from Brian saying, “well it was nice knowing you.” And Brian refuses to believe that it was all a sham. Although, if this is the case, I’m pretty sure it would be the end of The Bachelor franchise.
When I saw Molly crawling over over Jason on the massage table, (preview shown last night for upcoming date) she sure did not look pregnant. She had on a skimpy swim suit and a very flat tummy.

Re: the previews for next week’s show. It cracks me up how ABC talks about the “Bachelor couples who have made it”. They show clips of the golden couple Trista and Ryan (clips that we’ve seen a gazillion times) for, say 1 whole minute, they show a 3-second flash of Charlie and Sarah (ABC’s thinking…hmmmm we can’t be sure they’ll be “on again” at the time of the airing of the next episode) and they don’t even mention the ticking timebomb that is Byron and Mary! It’s like they want to pretend that psycho story never happened…
I had not heard the prego theory, BUT I do like the theory that the “private moment” is Jason meeting Mel’s parents….that sounds totally plausible….
This is a train wreck. Jason booted off the only decent girl left at this point. Molly just wants to “win”. Melissa seems really immature but you can tell that Jason is SO into her by all the looks, twirls and spins, etc. He admitted that she’s just like his ex and DD though. Red Flag, Jason! I don’t know if anyone else has commented on this, but I think a huge factor that everyone is missing is Ty’s Mom. She hasn’t been a part of any of this, nor should she until this point. If your ex-husband plans on marrying some else, shouldn’t you have some sort of introduction to who will be co-parenting your child? I think this may be part of the HUGE drama at the final ceremony. Or else someone gets sick or injured in his family. It has to be something bigger than just being conflicted with who to pick or Dehanna’s conversation. I mean did you see the breakdown he had on the balcony? Has he ever been that dramatic or shown depth like that before? Not the Melba Toast we’ve been seeing all season. This looks for real.

I’m over this show!
Jillian was perfect for him and she’s already used to the cold rainy weather they have up there. Can you imagine how depressed Mel is gonna be in Seattle, she’s from TX! I have family members that moved from Alabama to Seattle and loved it 3 months of the year. The other 9 were horrible for people that are used to heat and humidity!
And Molly, she makes me want to puke. I can’t stand fake people. Ugh! With all the money her family wants you to think they have, couldn’t they afford braces for her “buck teeth”?
I don’t care who he picks, he is stupid. They are both too young for him and Ty! Use your brain dude, stop following your pen_s.

Any thoughts on Jason getting ready to pick Melissa, then DeLoser meeting them both and saying Molly is a better choice for him and he gets all conflicted- hence the bawling over the balcony?
#115 – I totally caught the wine glass thing. I thought it was so funny how one second it was half full then it was almost empty in the next.
Also, did anyone notice that as he was dressing for the RC he had on a purple tie but then in the next shot where he is walking up with OHCH his tie is grey with that print on it? More poor editing.
I thought all of the dinner conversations (if you can call them conversations) we painful to watch. The girls stammered and he just stared and nodded a lot. Maybe it was editing and they cut out a lot of what he said but it just made for bad viewing.
Jason’s luggage must have not made it to NZ. He wore the same clothes to dinner on both of first two dates. Only time he wasn’t in jeans was the awkward suit at RC. And the plaid shirt has become so familiar, well… The girls arrive in nice dresses for their dinner date and here’s J in jeans again. Don’t get me wrong, I love jeans but he should know the girls are going to be dressed to impress. ABC give the guy a wardrobe allowance.

) Here is what OHCH said today: “When I showed up, Jason was already there and had on a horrible tie. He didn’t have a backup, so I gave him my tie and a production assistant had to hustle back into town grab my extra and race back out so we could get everything shot before sundown. The things I do to help these people find love!”
Just FYI – Molly is not pregnant. I work at the same company she does, and if she were pregnant, everyone here would know. She told someone that the “moaning” sounds were dubbed in by the producers. She was more than angry and told them that it was extremely embarrasing – esp since her family watched the show.
I was also sorry to see Jillian go. I really thought they had something going. I think marrying your best friend is exactly what you should do. Good Luck to her.
Stef- on OHCH’s blog he says that Jason’s tie was horrible and he had to give him his! Then intern had to go fetch Chris his other one from his room downtown. Too funny!

I wasn’t surprised to see Jillian go. She kept going on and on about marrying your best friend and Jason even made a comment about being friends with Jillian for a long time. That’s when I knew she was done. I wish it had been Molly.
#216 Chris Harrison said on his blog that he loaned Jason his tie because his first one was so awful. Also, there is speculation that the ring going on the hand with the pinky finger (Melissas) is from the General Hospital episode and they just never aired that part. Hope that helps!
I can’t believe that he let Jillian go! As my husband said when Jason let her go… “that guy just made a huge error.” Agreed!
What if Jason proposed to one of the girls and it airs in two weeks…then after the show ended, the other girl finds out she is pregnant? I think if any of them get pregnant on the show they wouldn’t know until afterwards – isn’t this all filmed over the course of about 4-6 weeks? Just a thought. But my money is on a proposal to Melissa and then meeting her “very private parents” not in front of a live audience. It will be a big let-down with all of the hyped-up drama.
In response to the feminist comment about meeting parents: for me it is actually more important to meet parents on this show because you can see a lot about a person (ie-Naomi). If Melissa sees them three times a week like she says, then they will be a big part of Jason’s life if they actually get married. So meeting them is important.
Just a thought: he didn’t ask permission from any of their dads on hometown dates.
My favorite part of the episode was during Molly’s date when she pulled out her list of questions. Where did she get those? 101firstdatequestions.com? It made it seem like she was forcing conversation
#225 – Sam – Just because we didn’t see him ask their permission doesn’t mean he didn’t. Clearly they have been picking and choosing what they want us to see and believe this season. Very crafty.
In general I find it snore-worthy for a guy to “ask permission” of a dad prior to asking his sweetheart to marry him. That is different from a heads up such as “I plan on marrying your daughter and will spend my life making her happy”. If I were a dad and Jason asked my permission I’d have to tell him to stop with the nonsense and hope to see you two spend some real life moments together first.
Does it bother anyone else that often instead of looking at one of the ladies with his mouth closed he has his lips spread open in a smile but it’s not really a smile moment. Granted, he has nice teeth, but each time I see it I can see him as a little boy and his mama and her friends saying “Ah look at the cute boy!!!”
Anyone notice that he looks better with his shirt off than in clothes? And don’t even get me started on his gait.
when jason asked molly how she was doing when they sat down for dinner, the hubs said (for jason) “i’m doing great, just got some from jillian. how are you?” cracked me up that he said that, but cracks me up even more, that he sits through the whole show!
Rumor has it that they already got married… whomever he picked. Maybe that is the big news! Heard they eloped and maybe that’s why they had to tape it without a live audience. Not sure.. but it’s a thought. Or they didn’t have an audience cause they get married on the After the Final Rose.

Okay, something I heard two weeks ago so this might be old news that you all already know; Jason met Melissa in Dallas long before the show. They hit it off, he says I’m already booked to do The Bachelor, so why don’t you become a contestant? She does and according to this same email I saw, Melissa was acting very “unavailable” at a New Years Eve party for The Rangers.

Hey Number 218 – I noticed the tie switcheroo also – but then noticed that in the pics of Jason crying over the balcony, he is wearing the same suit with the ugly purple tie – I think they are trying to trick us and Chris Harrison wrote on his blog to help with the trick.
Sorry Lincee, but it was clear Jill was a goner from the beginning. Total friend connection during the daytime (aka the flannel shirt portion of the date). And I saw zero chemistry in that hot tub. It looked totally staged and her legs were wrapped around him but they were just standing still. Poor Jillian, because she does seem really cool. I think that he had much more chemistry with Molly and that is why they barely showed them making out at all. It would have given too much away.
So glad you people have notice Jay’s teeny-tiny suit! Shades of Pee-Wee Herman! (And didn’t Stephanie remind someone of Simone back towards the beginning of this season??:))
You guys, I’ve got my 23 yr. old son hooked on this train wreck! He’s a recent college graduate, home looking for a job and yesterday reminded me, “Mom, you know it’s MONDAY NIGHT!” It’s so funny to listen to him as he watches the show–lots of “OMG’s” and “this is disgusting!” I love the feedback from all the dudes, but I haven’t been able to convince him to post a comment.
BTW — for those spoiler hogs who can’t wait 8 hours– the reality steve spoiler shoot is already up on youtube–in 3 separate shoots.
Since it looks like I may be the first person on here who has seen the video, I will NOT be the spoiler. Basically, he makes a big claim about what is going to happen at the first AFTR, has really no clue about the 2nd AFTR, and has baseless speculation as to WHY this all happened.
While I believe that if he is at all competent his claims about what will happen at AFTR1 are correct, his summary of what led to all this makes no sense to me. It’s rediculous enough that anyone could fall for someone after 6 weeks, but after a first meeting and creating a conspiracy around that. . . not buying it. Dont’ really want to say more for those who don’t like spoilers.
