From the desk of Sergeant Elliott Cole:
Lincee has exceeded all of my expectations with her shameless and effective pimping of yours truly on the single’s market! Thanks to all the ladies who submitted profiles. I am having fun writing back and forth with the girls and learning about their lives.
I especially want to thank you all for the respect you have all voiced to our nation and the armed forces. A quick word on Iraq: As many of you know, this is my second tour of duty here. The violence just a couple of years ago was nonstop and vicious. I lost some friends, the last of whom died exactly two years ago as I write this. Things are far from Mayberry RFD here now, but I have been here for six months with nowhere near the problems of last time. Regardless of how the war is going, I am grateful to have all of your thoughts and prayers. Mine and Lincee’s fathers both fought in Vietnam and the country was very much against them when they returned home.
I have written before, but it bears repeating, that I may be in Afghanistan within a year of returning. It reminds me that there are many friends, family members, and spouses out there who patiently wait for a loved one to return. My dear, sweet, mother is the daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, wife, mother-in-law, and mother of war veterans. In fact, all four of her kids are in the military and we are all either scouts or helicopter pilots. Military moms and wives read this blog. While we are horsing around in the desert and being reckless, you are home keeping the world from falling apart. Thanks to all of you.
My unit (56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2-104th Cavalry) will be home in September Insha’Allah – God willing – as the Arabs are fond of saying.
Elliott

Or as us seudo Tex-Mex ladies say “Si Dios Querer” (God Willing). My mother-in-law says it everytime we leave her house and thoughtlessly say “see you later!”
You are such a cutey pie and I am so glad you have a little something to make you smile when you log on at the end of a long day. I’m sure you have a ton of sweet girls waiting on your return home. Have fun, stay respectful and be safe!!!!!!
With all the respect of a Vietnam Vet’s daughter~take care doll……
You are such a studmuffin! If I were years younger and single, you would be on my list of hot men to pursue…..
Thanks for your service to our glorious country. I am honored and humbled to know that young men like you are keeping us safe and out of harms way.
Elliot,
As the mother of a Marine, who did a year in Iraq, my hat is off to you. Its odd too, that I have pictures of her always carrying around a gun, just like you. Fair winds and following seas, return home safely.

If my daughter wasn’t already spoken for, I’d have her check you out! Please be safe and come home to all those who love you. I am a nurse at the VA, I can’t tell you how glad we all are each and every time a group comes home safely.
There is something about a man who knows how to carry a weapon
Seriously tho, prayers up for a safe return. My grandfather was a Captain during Korea, my father served and got out just before Vietnam. My ex served in Panama when Noriega was removed and surprisingly was not called up for Desert Storm. I have a great fondness and affection for the military. Stay safe and enjoy all Lincee pimping you out.
What you and all the others of you do over there to keep us safe is commendable. I hope and pray that all of you come home to kiss your moms, dads, brothers, and sisters. Thank you for what you do and who you are.
Dear Sargent Cole, thank you for keeping out country safe for us enjoying life in California! Your effoerts have not gone unoticed!!!
Sargeant Cole,
Thank you for your service. What you and so many other men and women do over there every day is nothing short of heroic. My father fought in the Vietnam war, and his father in WWII. I, like so many others, am so grateful that there are brave people like you who will lay their lives down to protect our country and our freedom. You do such important work over there and it is so appreciated. You make us proud, Sargeant – I can only hope my son grows up to be as brave and selfless as you and your colleagues. Thank you again.
So very thankful for you and your friends. Keep up the great work – we love you and support you back at home.
Sargeant Cole,
Thank you for your dedication and service to our Country. Although it may not seem like it at times there are still many greatful Americans over here that appreciate the sacrifices you, your commrades and your families make for our freedoms. The bravery of men and women like you never ceases to amaze me. May God keep you all in His grace and protect you. Come home safely.
I think we should call him Hotter-than-crap Elliott.
Ha! ROFLMAO to #11….I love it! HTC Elliott……and yes, I totally agree…….
Sergeant Cole – you’ve heard it before, but here it is again: Please know how grateful we are for you and people like you. Thank you for keeping us all safe, and I hope you and your friends come home safely in September. Also, good luck with finding a lady worthy of you!
SC – I believe I agree with you. I’d be throwing my hat in the ring if I wasn’t taken and living in CA!
Thanks for your service Elliot. My brother in law just returned from a tour of duty in Northern Iraq. He made so many sacrifices leaving his newborn son and wife… I’ve learned that as an American I should never take our armed forces for granted. What you do for our country is truly appreciated. Hope you and your team return home safely, and may God watch over your mother!
#11 – I LIKE IT!!!
If I wasn’t old and married I would throw my hat in the ring! Elliott sounds awesome and I thank all arms of the military daily for my freedom and the freedom of our nation! Hopefully he returns safely!
to #5 DEB-
There is something about a man who knows how to carry a coffee mug!
Very cute guy! Should have uploaded a shirtless pic! JK….
IDEA!!!
Elliot should post his mailing address so people can send him goodies over seas! Everyone loves goodies!
Elliott, you are a doll. Too bad I’m 47, married, with two kids that I adore!! Maybe I can just adopt you…
Be safe! And thanks for everything you are doing!!
Elliot-
Don’t get too interested in any of those ladies you are in contact with…. at least until my friend Alicia comes home!
And thanks for all you do. Seriously.
HTC Elliott, indeed!
Sergeant Elliott Cole, words can’t express the gratitude I feel for my fellow Americans in the armed forces. My cousin was in the Army and served us proud and I appreciate all that you do for us. I couldn’t help it, by my eyes were welling-up reading all these comments. So nice to hear the support for our troops!
You are indeed a handsome man (very, very handosme at that) but more than that you have integrity, courage and love for your country. It is reassuring to know men and women with your courage are looking after us! And also a huge nod to the strong women waiting at home.
I hope we get more guests posts from you, would be nice to get updates once a month or so!
Allah maak!
Hope you find your habibi soon! I was born in Beirut, so I’m throwing around a bit of Arabic for you.
God bless.

Elliot
We are so very thankful for everything that you and all the service men and women are doing. Come home safe and soon to all the Texas ladies waiting for you!!
God Bless.
Oh how I wish I were single!!!!
AggieFan, my mother says “If God says the same” whenever someone says to her “See you soon. See you next week.” She says her grandmother said the same thing. Just like your god willing!
Bless you, and all of the service men and women who sacrifice so much so that we may enjoy our lives here. Freedom is not free. I will continue to pray that you- and all of our military return home safely. Thank you so much for what you do.
Blessings to you and your fellow soldiers sweating it out in hell over there. And yes, you are HTC! I soooooo wish I was 1. younger, 2. lived in TX so I could be in the running to date you when you return, and 3. in the running to date you when you return!
Sounds like you and Lincee come from exceptionally good stock.
Stay safe,
terri
(who works at DISA, Dept of Def, we provide the safe/secure communications for you, as well as connection to the web so you can read IHGB)
Thank you for your service, Elliott. My dad served a tour in Viet Nam and another in Korea, and it is an experience that helped make him the tremendous man he is today, at 67 yrs old. I am sure it will be the same with you. Good luck getting pimped out… I hope Lincee and/or you keep us informed.
Hmmm. . how do you feel about Cougars????
God Bless you, your unit, and all men and women who are fighting for our country no matter where they are. My dad is a marine (well, not anymore but he says once a marine always a marine!), I have several friends in the service now, and family member who have or are going into the service. I’ve been working a ton and out of town on vacation so I’m just now trying to get caught up on Lincee’s blog.
I must say…she is so sweet to “pimp” you out!
Must run and get back to work. Have a blessed day!
Misty
PS – you are rather cute!
Elliott – There really aren’t adequate words to express how much I appreciate your efforts and your commitment to my freedom and the safety of all Americans. My brother is also on his second tour, and he feels far more optimistic and encouraged by the current situation than he did in the past. Our late father battled in Europe and we lost an older brother in Southeast Asia, but it never crossed my brother’s mind to decline when he was activated from reserves. The courage that all of you show every moment of every day really is proof positive that we are, and will continue to be, the finest and most special nation on Earth. Fight on, and please, stay very safe.
(I’m old enough to be your mother, but age doesn’t diminish what I can clearly see is one hot tamale!)
HTC Elliot… is that a six pack I see through your T-shirt?? Impressive… very impressive
Elliott,
Even though I was not selected for “Big Pimpin’” (ahem…not bitter) I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. I come from a large military family…and I know how it feels to wait for someone to return.
Thank you for serving.
DJC
Elliot,
My thanks to you and all of those who serve our country is the highest honor imaginable. I pray for you and your units safe return home, as well as, your siblings and other soldiers who so bravely fight for our freedom every day.
You truly seem like a strong man of honor, respect, and pride – and even your hot looks can’t top that!
God Bless
Aww. Too cute for words.
Hope you find a wonderful woman, Elliot!
Sgt Cole,
Thank you for your service to our nation. I’m praying for your safe return and for God’s strength and comfort as you serve our nation. I know your family is super proud of you. We all are!
I’m also praying that the right sweet-hearted gal captures your heart.

This is so cute! Thanks Elliott, for doing a great job out there! To you & Lincee, how is this endeavor working? Are you going to make cuts, go on some 2-on-1’s, group dates, that kind of thing?! I really hope you keep us up to date, I think it would be neat to hear how things are progressing! obviously, if we are all into the Bachelor, we are suckers for romance stories!!! Good luck sweetie! Lincee, keep up the great work, love the blog!
Super super cute… I should have emailed Lincee about this whole pimping thing long ago!
Is it too late to submit a profile now? I didn’t know you were so cute and your note was so sweet. I’m 26, 5′5″ blue eyes, haha . I will be praying for you guys in the military out there. P. S. I’m loving the coffee mug! : )
Man, if I weren’t married. What a cutie! On a serious note, thank you for all you do. I have tremendous respect for those of you brave enough to fight for our country. Good luck with the search. I hope you find a woman who is truly deserving of you.
Is it wrong that I am married yet all I could think of when I saw this most recent pic of “HTCE” was “I want to sop him up with a biscuit”?! You are one smokin’ service member. Hope you find love and happiness…wishing you a safe return.
he could not be any more darling. seriously.
Eliiot, would you accept this rose? oh, wait a minute!! I’m already married and way too old for you!!! hope you find your everlasting love!!! and thank you so much for your service for our country and for us, we are enternally greatful!! come home safely!!!
*sigh*
I take it you can’t be convinced that (the fair Commonwealth of) Virginia is the place you want to come home to, huh?
No, with the way you speak so lovingly of your family, I’d say ‘definitely not.’
Can you at least clone yourself and send him to me? (ha ha)
[...] my first subject was quite the catch. And since we share the same DNA, I was able to work out all the kinks with his “season” just [...]
BTW… It’s HTC Elliott’s birthday today…
