Thank you to all of our soldiers - past, present, and future. Freedom isn't free and its because of our soldiers that we live in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

I think it's good to remember that even if you don't believe we need to be in combat, it's still important to support those brave men and women who are fighting for us every day. At times, I have questioned our country's presence in foreign lands, but I have never ever failed to remember that there are moms and dads, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters fighting in a conflict many Americans don't support. And those people deserve our thanks and respect!

I'd like to say thank you to my little brother Jonathan, who dreamed of being in the military his whole life and now is a 2nd Lt. in the Army since May. I'm so proud of you. Zan, my dear friend and Marine--thank you for your service in Okinawa! To my grandpas, family members and friends who also serve and have served, thank you for your patriotism--we wouldn't be a free country without y'all.

My dad served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. One of my grandfathers served in the army during the Korean conflict and my other grandfather served in the Air Force. I thank the Lord that he kept them safe while they served so unselfishly.

Praying for our servicemen today.

Thanks to all our armed forces who have served, but especially close to my heart is my husband. I am so honored to be part of the military family. Sgt. Cole thank you for your service and giving us those links.
RIP CPL James Hale and CPL Gary Moore, your sacrifice will never be forgotten

Hey Greenbeaners! You have all been so sweet to me over these last few months. I appreciate it.

I loved being deployed and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I have some brothers and sisters (literally, actually) who are still in the fight. Keep them in mind over the holidays.

Speaking of the holidays, I am going to make a suggestion for all of you who may not have much to give in these crappy economic times: for the last 4 years, I have told everybody who would ever think to get me a Christmas gift to instead make a gift in the exact amount to the Wounded Warrior Project. There are many charities out there, but this one is especially good and has helped some good friends of mine.

For those who would like to contribute to guys in the field, American Snipers provides hard-to-find items that snipers use to do their jobs. Many of the items are small, niche, civilian products that the army and marine corps supply systems don't provide.
