And she's right...during that ice storm, the Austin news was ridiculous...it was like the world was coming to an end over some ice and five snowflakes. and they showed nothing but the news for 3 days straight! the only thing there was to do was to play drinking games while watching the news...that's probably what SHE was doing! ;) I LOVE that clip of Gladys!! It was on one of the local news stations soon after this played. People didn't know if she was for real or if she was actually a comedian playing a part. I think either way, her talk with Ellen was genuine and not planned. Some people thought she was on of the local comedians from Greater Tuna (which is kinda what I thought because she sounds just like him). I think someone even started a website about "Who is Gladys".
