About a million years ago, two IHGB readers emailed me regarding projects they were involved in. Both were so cute that I thought I would give them a shout out on my website. If you are in the market for sweet gifts for Christmas, I’d suggest either one of these gifts:
1. The Duck with No Legs
IHGB reader Jessica just published her first children’s book and it is darling. It has a sweet message and beautiful illustrations. She sent me a copy and I’ve shared it with all the children in my life, but kept it for myself.
Is that rude?
It is an adorable book that teaches an important story.
It can be purchased at www.amazon.com or at www.sillybird.com.
IHGB reader Jill Schram sent me a message a long time ago about her daughter’s new venture.
Apparently, Gracie was inspired by a sermon at church when she decided to record a CD to help raise money for kids in Africa. Her hope was to raise enough money to build a fish pond for a village.
It is my understanding that sweet Gracie has raised $9,000. I think when I was her age, I was complaining that I couldn’t get to the final level on Mario Brothers.
If you are interested in Gracie’s CD, check out her Facebook page by typing in Showers From God.
I’ve read the book and heard the CD. Both are wonderful and I am so blessed to have such talented readers of this silly little website.
Thank you Jessica and Gracie for encouraging me to follow my dreams.
