Sunday nights aren’t as fun any more since Mad Men’s season finale a few weeks ago. Night comes and that “Monday morning /back to school” feeling creeps into my stomach. And Don Draper isn’t there to make it all better.
I hear you about that Monday morning feeling! Back to work, etc.
Your blog is fabulous! I love your humor! I’ve been following you for a couple of years and post the very odd random time. I just wanted to let you know how terrrific I think you and your blogs are! You seriously make my day. If I have the odd blue day I log onto your website more often that day and have a great laugh. It would be cool if you would blog everyday from now on, however, that is a lot of pressure, so at least you are doing this for November.
Thank you Lincee for making so many people’s lives more enriched with your humor and fantastic wit! Take care,
From Canada and Happy upcoming Thanksgiving to you and your US greenbeaners.

Don Draper was the highlight of my weekend. The good news is that I refuse to delete my old episodes so I can see him anytime I want.
em Said,
if you need to make mondays better, watch CASTLE!
Avery Said,
Lincee,
I love that you love Mad Men – sometimes I feel like I’m the only one! Now if I could get you to convert to Team Edward we would totally be on the same page.
gc Said,
UGH!!! I completely agree…. Give me my Donny D!!!! Sunday means nothing without sex, alcohol and advertising…
Oh Don Draper. I still haven’t watched the season finale. its on my to do list for tonight in between how I met your mother and big bang theory.
Maureen Said,
I feel the same way! I even had to watch the finale a second time to help with my withdrawl. I can’t believe we have to wait until July for it to come back!!
CD Said,
So glad to know you are a fellow Mad Men fan – that and Amazing Race were my two Sunday night shows that I DVR’d and I’d watch one Monday and one Tuesday…. now my whole week is off without Mad Men. I can’t wait to see what happens next season and it’s too far away!
terri Said,
I agree as well! I’m a Mad Mennie! I hate cigarettes and the smoke…but I could forgive Don D ANYTHING! Even if he hid his secret-scary-childhood-abusive-father-identity-switchin-fake-wife-past from me. I hope that Sal becomes their art dept, and that he comes back soon into the new season.
I was born in 1963, but I sooooooooooooo remember the ashtrays, the ashtrays on stands, the women’s clothes, the pill box hats, the black and white TVs that took up most of a living room wall, people smoking in offices, skinny ties, the silly looking hats on women, I could on and on. It is so much fun to watch the epis over and over to see the sets and costumes.
Love, Love, Love me some Mad Med. However, in that time slot on Sundays I now watch Tough Love on VH1. I have learned a lot about men from that show if I ever decide to get back into the dating pool.
Ear Said,
Sing it sister! I miss Mad Men! Can’t wait for it’s return.
