ABC has arranged TWO WHOLE HOURS of prime time television for us to enjoy the happy couple tie the knot.
I am praying to the good Lord that Our Host Chris Harrison will call the wedding like he did for Trista and Ryan. And here’s hoping that Melissa Rycroft and her new hubby will provide color commentary. Oh! And maybe Hotter than Crap Brad can man the open bar at the reception. Yeah! And Break Dancer Mike can entertain on the dance floor. He can bring his twin. Who is dating DDAHnna. And she can catch the bouquet. And this time next year, we’ll all meet back here to celebrate their wedding on national TV.

While I’m not a fan of either, I’ll be watching on March 8th. However, if they think this will garner the viewership that Trista and Ryan’s wedding had (17 million viewers?!), I think they are going to be very disappointed.
This also makes me think that Jake picks no one (or at the very least has broken up with whomever he DID pick) as the timing of this is quite coincidental. If this Bachelor is another fail (aren’t they all?), then what better way to say “see, the process CAN work” than by having a televised wedding of a Bachelor success story.
Well, with tempered enthusiasm I will have to tune in (assuming a Lincee recap will be my reward). And, what can I say, I enjoy most wedding-related TV shows anyway. Glad we can all move on after this (wait, what am I saying…we still hear TMI about Trista and Ryan).

I agree with you Molly – they appear happy and if they want to make some $$ having their wedding televised (in this tough economy I certainly don’t blame them!) and I, for one, am happy for them and will definitely watch. They weathered some pretty tough criticisms and I think its great they are still together and are getting married.

I never, EVER, from Day1, EVER liked Molly. Her bug eyes and too big of a mouth just bothered me; as did her bragging about spending the night with Jason in the tent. She may be the sweetest, nicest person in the world, but for entertainment’s sake, the show’s viewing audience’s sake, I just never liked her. Melissa was my favorite from the beginning of the season and he picked her! I thought they were great together. But alas, it was only the concocted version of their lives that we were let in on. So now that it is all said and done and both couples are happy, I’m sincerely happy for both of them. I hope Jason & Molly live happily ever after as well as Mel & Ty…..BUT….I will not be tuning in to watch Jason & Molly’s wedding. I’m ready for Bachelor Pad!!! Woo hoo! Bring it on!

I agree with #23 Michele..I mean if they are happy and want to spend their lives together, who are we to judge?? And if someone offered me a million bucks just to say “I do” on National TV well I’d jump at that! Whoever says otherwise is fooling only themselves. I don’t think it will be quite the fairytale that Trista and Ryan’s was, but it was the first. Everyone loved Trista and who doesn’t love a hunky fireman?! Sequels are never as good as the first, but I still wish them all the happiness in the world…especially since there is a 5 year old little boy involved and I think Molly seems like she will be an excellent mom. Can’t wait for the recap on it though!

Why do people keep commenting about “hate” over this? I don’t see anyone saying “OMG I HATE them and I hope they have a horrible marriage.” Comeon, I believe all the comments here are just poking some fun. Personally, they aren’t my fav couple (and that’s not centered around the Melissa drama either.) But I wish them a life time of happiness- I’m just not tuning in to watch. It’s not like weddings (especially for those you don’t really give a crap about) are fun. The receptions, on the other hand, that’s where it’s at. Free food, free booze and unfortunately, I get neither from this wedding so I’m def out!

bach die hards have hopefully seen the photos in US mag of ddahanna and mikes twin frolicking on the beach? they are sooo together–its been a few months. and yesterday on ellen, ella was on looking gorgeous and ellen mentioned her as the next bachelorette……. she sort of acted like its a possiblity….first one with a kid for sure.

I’m trying to predict the end of this season (all spoilers aside!) based on their potential for a new bachelorette. They’ve already planned the dates for the next Bachelorette, so it’s going to happen, and they’ve never had a new/fresh Bachelorette and instead use rejects. Didn’t one of the producers recently say that it’s more difficult to pick a bachelorette because women viewers are pickier about the women, and the bachelorette can’t be “too pretty.” Omg did I just type that and therefore set feminism back 50 years? Kill me.
Anyway, the women on Jake’s season are such train wrecks that I could only picture Tenley being the bachelorette, which means she must not win, so I’m guessing second or third place for Tenley.
In any case, good luck to Jason and Molly and their sham marriage. Accidentally typed “shame” instead of sham but I guess that’s cool too.

So did anybody see the absolute train wreck that was the Grammy awards? I haven’t seen that much narcisism and self-congratulation since the State of the Union speech.
I watched about 2 minutes of the Grammys…Beyonce sounded amazing but her hair was SO distracting (someone should tell her she’s not in a metal band). Lady Gaga sounded great but she’s SUCH a disaster. That’s about all I saw. That’s about all I could take, too!
We have all had a broken heart at one time. However, probably not on national television. I am glad he did what he did to Melissa, better then getting married to her knowing she was the “wrong one”. I respect that in him. Melissa had to know something was up before the breakup… If not she must be blind. I wish all couples the best.
