My dear readers,
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all of your sweet messages and well wishes about the passing of my uncle. I wanted to write a proper post about him, but I just haven’t been able to stir up the energy to write something that will honor his memory. I am overwhelmed by the support of perfect strangers and feel so loved by the outpouring of love from so many people. Thanks again.
Now…on with the mini recap!
In keeping with my WTA tradition, I will be bringing you one of my famous Top 10 lists. I call this one:
Top 10 Things We Learned During Women Tell All Wings of Love Edition
1. The two hour episode could have been cut to about 30 minutes of dirt we didn’t know coming in to the show.
2. The Bachelor Pad show looks like a frat party for 30-somethings. There will be drunken orgies, Kiptynite’s abs, Natalie the bear lover and apparently He Who Must Not Be Named will be counting nipples. I know. I don’t get it either. But did I mention that Kiptynite’s abs will be there?
3. Some of the old Bachelors and Bachelorettes give back to the community. Eighty percent of the guys and girls we don’t remember, but one thing we do know — Hip Hop Mikey Michael is still adorable. And DDAHnna is going after elementary kids now. How sad.
4. The girls think that Tenley dreams in cartoons and fell out of a Disney movie. Gia put it the best when she told the camera that Tenley probably sh*t rainbows. I had to rewind the DVR because I was laughing so hard.
5. Moment number one when Hare was awesome:
Elizabeth: “I wanted him to pursue me.”
Hare: “But you toyed with him.”
Elizabeth: “I know. I felt pretty stupid after watching the show.”
Hare: “You are never as cool as you think you are.”
6. Biggest Jim Halpert Moment
Michelle: “I don’t need a therapist. I am stable.”
Valishia: “Maybe you are a little unstable.”
7. Answer Roz’s lawyers told her to memorize: “Absolutely not.”
8. Lamest thing to come out of Jake’s mouth: “My heart was crying when I let Gia go.”
9. SHUT UP if Our Host Chris Harrison is singing WINGS OF LOVE!
10. Hare asks Jake if he is happy with his decision. Jake answers that he is happy. Not with his decision, but that he’s happy. Could our winged Bachelor be pulling a Womack this season?

Gia is quite funny isn’t she?!!? That was hilarious. So was Hare signing OTWOL…I had caught it on my little re-watch…funny.
Oh so agree on Jake and that my heart was crying crap! He didn’t seem to genuine in most of things he was saying tonight – to me anyway!
Was rolling at the little kid who told DD she was too big for him! lol I know he really meant she was an adult in big people terms but gotta love a kid that tells ya like it is. lol
Just finishing the show in my time zone. I thought it was nice of Ali to admit that she is blunt in a mean way and that Vienna is still a person. I find it amazing that people (in the tabloids) can be so careless and heartless with what and how they report – seems like a little bit of a play up about Ali being Bach-ette – Hare saying she has lots of fans, her saying she would choose love if she could do it again… etc.
I just wanted to tell you that we’re having a Bachelor Finale party at my house. As a special treat, my husband is grilling us WINGS! Might even have some Skittles to taste the rainbows for Tenley. If you were in Fort Worth, you would be invited!

*DP, how many “amazing’s” were there tonight?
* Jake’s patent leather, zip up pilot boots, from the 80′s (when sitting down talking to OHCH @ the beginning of the show) were uber dorky! Do pilots STILL wear those?
*Ali must have been paying attention to this blog as she nixed the color yellow and had her hair down!
(although she is for sure working “it” as the next Bachelorette- blah!)
*Gia, where was this spunk all season? Pretty funny stuff! ABC, she would be good!
*the whole Roz thing was very uncomfortable to watch!

If we were to play a drinking game and have a drink for every “journey” and “amazing,” would we even remember how it ends?

Everyone should have a camera following them around to record their lives so that they can rewind things and see how uncool they look to the rest of us. Would eliminate a lot of annoying stuff I think. But, it would also give me less to blog about so I guess it’s sort of a Catch 22! Great recap. Always enjoy yours:)
Wow. Just wow. I thought last night was going to be a throw-away, so I said to my husband, “let’s just watch a few minutes, and if it’s lame, we’ll switch to the Olympics”. I am SO glad we stuck with it, because that was maybe one of the most shocking things on reality TV I’ve ever seen. When Roz said what she said about OHCH, we were literally struck speechless for whole minutes.
I read OHCH’s blog on EW, and a lot of the comments are very polarizing. One thing they never seem to remember is that Roz CHOSE to come on WTA. She didn’t have to. She could have chosen to stay away like villain Wes. I don’t believe as OHCH said there’s a “mountain of evidence”, but I do think it’s very telling that the producer allegedly confessed, and yet Roz is still shilling that nothing happened.
Moreover, this producer knows how the show works. If he and Roz are still close, wouldn’t he have the sense to tell her to just stay away from the WTA? What was the benefit of her going on the show (except to us)? She had to have known she was in a lose-lose position, no matter what the truth is…

Re: your comments, I totally agree w/ your #10 comment for same reasons. Plus, the girls (V & T) both look miserably unhappy in one of the final clips of the night like they are both getting dumped. Did yall see the clip of Tenley asking Jake you don’t think we have heat? No heat is surely a deal-breaker cause you know V brought the heat on their date & lots of it. Besides Gia’s sh*tting rainbows great quip about T, priceless clip was Jake’s Mom saying in Vienna’s meet-the-parents date…”is THIS the girl that all the girls hate?” Her face looked 100% turned to do-do. I think Jake is bailing….hoping he ends up with Ali later somehow or that she reappears next week(I am a hopeless romantic) & gets the ring & her guy. Really feeling sorry for both V & T though….

Roz…wow…way too many things (producers confession, girls in the house witnessing things) for me to believe she is innocent. I think the Hare comment says a lot about her personality – and did anyone catch that the PRODUCER HAS A WIFE?
#17 yes on the “producer” having a wife! What about the fact that if the producer was innocent, wouldn’t he be filing a lawsuit of some type against wrongful termination? I was PRAYING they were going to pull out video that was dark and grainy on the whole stairstep moment….dang that crafty producer…Really liked Gia and still see a “spark” with Ali. End of the day, I think Jake is a nice guy. Michelle still a little crazy. Roz…ZERO cred!

Enjoyed the show. Really did not need the Bachelor reunion and Bach/Bachettes doing good segments.
Roz, wow. I’m surprised she came on the show. She had to know she would be in the crosshairs. Plus she should have softened her image. She looked more like a porn actress than a contestant.
I still liked Ashliegh. She was fun to watch again. And Gia was a riot. Maybe Gia will be the next Bachette? The Tenley is a Disney cartoon was genius. When they showed clips of Tenley, I could see her as the lead in Enchanted II.
I was happy to see Ali recognize and apologize for her behavior. I know many people feel it is just to make way for a stint as the bachelorette, but I doubt it is only that. Not too many people get the chance to see their own bad behavior first hand on TV. I think she is more than smart enough to realize her own short-comings when she is confronted with them in that manner. So I believe her apology to Vienna is real.
Gia was pretty damn funny.
Roz must be going to law-school where the mantra is deny everything. The faked looks of confusion on here face were pretty amusing when multiple girls said something she’d stick her neck out, squint her eyes…and then act all surprised.
I would not be surprised at all if Jakes mom sets him straight and as a result he dumps Vienna and Tenley. Jake made some big mistakes early in the game. But at least he will be able to go to the bachelor reunion parties and hook up with some psycho there.
I did find it funny that Roz attacked Hare. Honestly, what’s the point of attacking the messenger. I think he came right out and said he saw and heard nothing first hand, but he’s the host.
I guess she really doesn’t understand the power of the truth. Look at every major star that screwed up and came out and apologized. The public almost always forgives and forgets. With regards to Roz’s life, she didn’t really do anything wrong. If she likes the guy, go for it. (assuming he’s single). But in the context of the show…she certainly did enough to be removed from that.
If she had simply come on the show and said “Listen, I like the producer. We were friends before, and it grew into more while I was in the house. When I recognized what was happening I should have left the show, but I made a mistake and didn’t. I apologize to Jake and the show for that.” — We’d all be talking about how awesome and courageous she was. Instead she comes off looking like a complete whorish d-bag. But that’s what makes the show fun…one train-wreck after another.
Lincee, Welcome back! I am so sorry for your loss. I pay you and your family find comfort in each other and your memories of your Uncle.
On to the fluff… here are a few thoughts I just have to get out there…
1. I have a feeling that the producers are trying to make it look like Jake pulls a Womack. I am thinking he does pick someone, but they have already broken up.
2. Maybe the producer IS married, so ROZ is in denial mode. She should have just sent in a statement then. It would have appeared shady but not as horrible as last night. She is obviously a delusional fame-w$@*e. How ridiculous was it to hear her defense, “No, YOU’RE all lying.”
3. Love OHCH! His out takes were so funny… why don’t they keep those in!? I respect him for allowing Roz’s final (and ridiculous) comment about him hitting on someone to stay in. If he had anything to hide, he could have made the producers cut it out. I think that shows that he is innocent.
4. Ali redeemed herself a bit last night, but I do not want to watch another season of her. I hope they bring back that National Air Guard Pilot. She seemed awesome. How great would it be to have a strong, smart, independent bachelorette?
5. Poor Ty… I wish his mommy hadn’t signed the consent form. Jason and Molly’s wedding is going to be an embarrassing cheese-fest. Who’s in?

I think Roz came on for one or both of the following reasons: (1) they were threatening to sue her for breach of contract and perhaps the settlement required she show up for the WTA, and/or (2) they paid her a boat load of money to show up. There really is no other plausible explanation — other than, perhaps, she wanted to get her “denial” on record for everyone to see and disbelieve. Heh.
I also think they had her in seclusion back stage — no way she saw the bits where the girls ratted her out, which, btw, was pretty pathetic in its own right, They all came across as a bunch of shrews IMHO. The glares and condescending looks were ridiculous…
So it looks like I switched to ice dancing on NBC entirely too soon. What was the shocking thing that Roz said about OHCH?? What snappy comment did he have for her that “nailed her personality??” Being in the dark is totally what I get for bailing on the WTA too soon…
Lincee, all your snarky recaps are spot on, but I have been and continue to be puzzled by your enthusiasm for OHCH. He has to be as willing to lie, misrepresent, and emotionally manipulate the contestants and viewers of this awful show as the rest of the jerkwads who produce it. And on top of that, he does NOTHING but show up for 10% of the show looking smart but asking stupid questions. You can’t possibly believe he’s the trustworthy, put-together guy that ABC wants you to believe he is, nor can you believe he’s not implicated in this whole paint-Roz-as-the-whore-of-Babylon scheme. If she had done something as awful as the women said last night, ABC would say so; instead, they speak all their high-ratings hearsay through the other contestants. I say bravo to Roz for giving them what-for last night, even if she was edited into a corner and never really got to tell her side of the story.
Dara (29) – OHCH claimed that the fired “producer” was a friend of his, and therefore it was really hard to have to fire him. Roz then said “Oh really? Well that’s news to him considering the way you were hitting on his wife in New Zealand…”

I agree w/ you SPIFFYGIRL. Never got the OHCH love. Last night he was so condescending telling Roz she’s like his children & hoping she learned her lesson. I also agree that she must have been manipulated to be on the WTA. I really disliked Ella & Jessee last night. Why did they both say in previous interviews they never saw anything inappropriate & last night have examples of such? I do think Roz broke the show rules & was legitimately asked to leave, but why keep hinting it was something lewd? I think I read the the ‘producer’ was divorced, so available.
#28 Dara – and OHCH basically just said he wouldn’t dignify that ridiculous comment with a reply.
OHCH is hysterically funny! ABC didn’t have to have her come back at all. They could have just let the girls make their comments but and while I don’t think there was a mountain of evidence, I also don’t believe that the girls came together to make up the stories. I think they happened and while they may not have had full on sex, I think that they were having what can only be called an inappropriate relationship. What is even more sick is that she swore on her son’s life. She should have just come one and said it appears it is going to be one person’s word against another, American can choose who to believe but there is no concrete proof you have offered or can offer and just left it there.

The best line Hare gave last night was is response to Roz’s “he and his dad have stopped by my house in Virginia and we are friends”. He looks at the girls and asks them if any other girls had producers and their family “swing by” to visit. My sister and I were screaming!
Then before that when she as raising her voice and is asked her a question and she snapped at him to ‘calm down so I can answer’…was the 1st “I’m caught so let’s deflect” moment. The 2nd was when she tried to pull OHCH into her web of coo-coo with the “you hit on his wife in New Zealand” comment. I was ready to kick her butt!!
My sister says her whole attitude during the show as the elementary school “I’m busted and I can’t defend myself so I am gonna blank stare at you and shake my head to convince myself and possibly you too” look. She says the kids at her school do that to convince their parents they were little angels and it never works then either.
I will ask again…why is every one hating on my girl, Ali? She spoke her mind and now she apologized for her statements. She and Jake actually looked good as a couple. The others…there is something off balanced and wrong. I’m just saying.
I agree with you girls about Gia being the next bachelorette. Although I like Ali, I think Gia would be more entertaining. I think a season with Ali could resemble a season with Deanna … kinda boring.
To all of the OHCH haters, I went to college with him and his wife…they are wonderful people and he is truly the respectable guy all you OHCH lovers want him to be. I also note that he never said that HE and the producer were great friends, just referenced “some of us on staff” every time. That’s something you say to reference a team mentality, it does not necessarily mean that he was close to the producer. Either way, I thought he did a great job with Roz. You know he wanted to come out and say, “Honey, when we talk of an inappropriate relationship, we mean you DID THE NASTY. Is that clear enough for you?”

The interesting thing about Ali being the bach-ette (and ONLY interesting thing) would be seeing her pick guys who are complete opposites of Jake. I see her going for a really cocky, big (tall & muscular), successful guy. Last night really opened my eyes to seeing what a complete nerd Jake is. My (male) friend was watching with me and at one point said “Why does Jake have to come on this show to find a girl? He’s good looking and he’s a pilot, right?” By the end of the show we both understood why. He’s just socially inept and awkward! Not to mention, big time cheesey. And pale.

Lincee, you have to be the funniest woman in America. Your takes on the entertaining disgusting-ness (not really a word, but it somehow fits) that is the Bachelor/Bachelorette are always spot-on and hilarious. THANK you for sharing your wit with us. My husband and I look forward to your posts as much as we do the shows. (Yes, my husband loves it, too. We drink champagne right along with the ‘players’ and laugh our butts off!)

I also ‘caught’ that the ‘producer’ is married. Probably not any more! I guess Roz can add homewrecker to her collection of monikers: liar, hooker, etc.
I also loved, loved, loved OHCH’s comment, “Often times what I tell my son when he’s going off on an elaborate story about unicorns and magicians and stuff, I sit him down and say, Son, isn’t the simplest story the truth?” The champagne came out of my nose when I heard this. LOVE me some Hare!
Enough of the WTA. On to next week’s most dramatic rose ceremony EVER!
I just cannot believe that Jake could end up with Vienna AKA: cross-eyed-Daddy-complex-$10,000 hair-extension-wearing-brat. To think that Jake was concerned about Gia’s expensive shoes that she gets to keep after a photo shoot, but he’s okay with being Vienna’s new ‘Daddy’ figure. Based on her own comments, I imagine that’ll be a ‘tad’ expensive.
Or Tenley, AKA: the girl who s*%ts rainbows: nicely named Gia! Seriously. Would YOU want to wake up to THAT kind of sunshine for the rest of YOUR life!? (We’re talking facing that stuff before coffee, people. Think about that for a minute.) Not to mention Jake absolutely needs to meet the ex husband and get to be buds with him, because clearly he’s an integral part of their relationship because she can’t stop TALKING about him for five seconds!
And Ali. Why-oh-why didn’t he BEG her back!? She was the only one who had her crap together of the final four.
Here’s hoping for a WOMACK moment followed by a mad dash to the nearest direct flight to San Fran.

Roz’s contract requires her to come on the show, if asked. Wes’ did too…except he wasn’t asked.
Notice how she was secluded from everyone else. Think they didn’t feed the other girls things to say? Interesting that in their exit interviews, Ella and Ashley claimed they saw nothing with Roz and the producer, but tonight on the show, they suddenly have specific details. Also, recall in the promo for the show, it was billed as “Roz confronts Jake” yet they were never on the stage at the same time.
Also notice how Har just “didn’t get” what Roz was saying at first. He asked why she didn’t confront him when first approached with the “innappropriate” relationship. She said she thought “innappropriate” meant using the producers phone to call her kid. The other contestants were allowed to call using whatever phone they wanted. Roz “wasn’t allowed” the producer gave her his phone to make calls. This is what hse figured was “innappropriate”. Yet HAR was too busy playing the “you had an affair card” to go along with that.
Also notice when she asked him what was innapproprite, he himslef never answered. He turned to the women who suddenly ahd details, but if you recall at the time were all stunned by the news. Why so shocked if you had seen all of this shady activity?
Don’t be a sucker…ABC is pulling one over on you guys…
#39: Lauren – he who must not be named is well, we’re not supposed to name him — he’s the ass from Jillians season that got the final four with a girlfriend — cheesy singer…used the entire experience to ‘further’ his career — he’s the guy on the show last night that said he won the ‘most hated villain’ award (or something like that)… he lives in Austin, but we don’t name him because we don’t want him to get any props on this blog

haven’t read through the comments… but they really need to give us more out takes! two minutes gave us gems of Hare singing, Jake reenacting Flashdance in the shower, asking “what do you put on your teeth?” weird sexy modeling on the floor. I would watch 2 hours of unseen footage.
I think he who must not be named said “nibbles” not nipples. That’s what my husband thinks he said.
I always look forward to your posts. I couldn’t figure out what HWMNBN or AKA Wes said either for a second then I realized he said nibbles. I know he is distasteful in all ways so it wouldn’t have surprised me if he said the other but I am pretty sure it was nibbles.
Roz is dilusional!! Or maybe she was posessed and needs to see a Priest for some confession. The Producer dropped dime on her!!! HE would know when tapes are rolling and where mic’s are in the house. This is not Big Brother…it’s the Bachelor. I’m sure he had a contract so had to tell them everything or be sued.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the outtakes! I wish they showed more of them! You really do get to see everyone’s personalities. Loved the girls so much more! Even ones I didn’t care for in the beginning.
#41 You are exactly right about Jake! Boring stuff! We all said that last season and what does ABC do? Makes Jake the next contestant! BREAK THE CYCLE ABC!!! Get a new dude or dudette!
I don’t think Jake will pick either girl! This whole process seems like a nightmare for him…..he can never relax. Jake can go back to Dallas and work the pilot thing. He will have no problem meeting women now.

Just to reply to some of the things brought up here … and no I am not Roz or anyone associated with her … and in fact, I have no favourites for this season. The whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth … but I still can’t stop watching!
The producer was already divorced when he met Roz.
All the women in their exit interviews posted all over the web denied having seen anything sexual between Roz and said producer but now all of them have seen said contact? How does that happen?
Why was Roz kept secluded from all the other women before and after the show?
Why was no actual proof shown? Where we not promised the visual proof in last weeks teasers?
Inappropriate was his favouring her by giving her access to contact her son which had been denied to her because her husband did not sign the waiver as she stated. In fact, she was to be the Sea World date that Ella got. Apparently, she threw a fit and majorly p*ssed off producers, not to mention threw off their story line of sexy, single mom … much more suited to her than Ella.
Easy to state that the producer admitted to inappropriate contact … but what did that mean and why have we heard nothing from him? Did he admit to sex or as was it as she stated that he gave her access to her son which she was crying about and he felt bad about. Not saying that they may not have flirted as supposedly he had the hots for her and she used that to her advantage … and in the context of the show, that is inappropriate contact … just not the inappropriate contact they are trying to suggest.
Chris never came out and said “you did the NASTY” because more than likely their crack legal team knew that he could not as they would be sued. I don’t care what they say, if they had the proof they would show it!
It is interesting to me that Chris covered all the points that various spoiler blogs brought up to question the editing. I have to admit that it was smart of them to leave in the part where Roz accuses Chris … apparently she was wisked out of the studio right after that remark … but since so much of this had already been covered on the boards, if they deleted it, it would seem as if there was a cover up, but if they left it in, it would be ah, look how honest they are … and naturally, cause more controversy and thus higher ratings.
The ugly pilot boots have been discovered to be lifts because Jake is really short.
I have to admit … I was never a big fan of Jake … to me he was always trying too hard and this season has done nothing to dispell that opinion. The season is not the ratings bonanza that it is because of him but rather because of all the EDITED drama brought on by the women. I have to admit that for me, this is one of the worst seasons … right up there with Prince Lorenzo and Travis Stork. I wish they had shown more of the light hearted stuff they did from the bloopers … Gia about Tenley sh*ting rainbows and V saying thay Tenley dreams in cartoons. That was funny!
It would be nice if they did not recycle another bachelorette (Ali or even Gia) and gave us someone fresh without all this fake drama from the past season … although if they brought back Elizabeth the air force pilot I would be very happy.
Sorry for the long post … and the soapbox … but the show is just getting more and more ridiculous and I will wait to see the next season and hopefully be able to break myself from the destructive addiction that is the Bachelor/ette!!!
I think OHCH was gritting his teeth when he was telling Roz that he had no ill will for her. Especially after she attempted to call him out on flirting with her boyfriend’s wife!
And did anyone notice that Jake was wearing a leather jacket and then leather jacket-less during the scene where OHCH sings OTWOL??

I am Team Rozlyn- I really thought the girls were hateful beeyotches last night. I wanted to slap that smug look off of that trashy Ella’s face the entire night.
I just think Roz has been set up to crash and burn. I don’t really care about what happened- but I didn’t believe a single thing any of those girls said about what they “witnessed”. It was all very Salem Witch Trials to me.
Am I the only one who thinks he is going to pull a Womack next week – but then after the final rose – try to get Ali back? Or maybe they are already together?? Last night it seemed like when they looked at one another there was more than just the look of two people who hadn’t seen or talked to one another since that last and final phone call when he was in St. Lucia and she was in her fancy hotel robe back in San Fran…..
OHCH did a fabulous job. And I don’t believe Roz for even one second.

I am surprised so many people are backing Rozlyn up…I really think it was clear just by her reactions and facial expressions that she was lying, let alone the confession from the producer and the other girls comments… Come on, it’s obvious she did something…I don’t understand why so many (not saying any green beaners necessarily) people are paranoid about the tv stations “playing with our minds” … obviously they edit people to make them look a certain way sometimes but no way they would “create” something like this, especially against a single mother…OHCH was visibly upset the night he kicked her off the show… and when Roz swore on her child’s life, I was done with her
Also wanted to say that I don’t dislike Ali, I just don’t trust her…her intentions seem fake, maybe it’s the way she expresses herself, I don’t know… and I am definitely not a Vienna fan but I do think she’s getting a really bad wrap in the tabloids and it was great for Ali to say no one deserves that

So I’m not a fan of Roz at all. I suspect she’s probably lying. And she couldn’t get off my TV screen fast enough.
But two things really get me about the whole situation. 1. If it’s true she had sexual contact with someone else, why is that “inappropriate” while Jake is off kissing a dozen other women? Especially since other contestants have had significant others when they’ve gone on this show, but haven’t been kicked off by OHCH for that reason. Double standard much? 2. The show seems to have gone out of its way to trash her. I’ve seen OHCH’s blog where he laments that some of the gals have been smeared by the tabloids and they don’t deserve/aren’t prepared for that. But it seems it’s just fine if the show itself tries to smear a gal with a very Salem Witch trial scene in an effort to drum up ratings.
Blech.
I don’t want to see any of these girls as the next Bach-ette…I hope they find someone new!!!
I’ve been a Samantha Jones fan all along. I thought she was funny, real, and had a big heart. I thought it was pretty touching when he mentioned her as one of his regrets after seeing the show air. I hope he pulls a Womack and then looks her to see what might have been.
And regarding Roz, what a vindictive winch. She went in for the kill with Hare and it was so uncalled for. She could have earned some respect back if she just would have said, “Yes I fell in love and I should have just left the show.” Trying to tie it back to her son was just trying to divert attention. And loved it when OHCH asked if any other women had visits from the producers and their parents “as a friend”.
Ali definitely redeemed herself by apologizing on tv. I think it was genuine. But I still don’t want her as the next bach’ette.
My vote is for Christina aka Samantha Jones if Jake doesn’t look her up. She’s add some spice to the show.
I admit I read another “reality show blogger” who has a completely different take on the Roz situation – he is almost always right and he is adamant that ABC is basically punishing Roz with this made up story because she wanted to contact her son and threw a fit when she wasn’t allowed to (long story made very short). I think ABC will go to any length to humiliate and embarrass the people on this show with bad edits (and they basically all sign a waiver saying ABC has permission to do so). This show is fun to watch, but I am learning to not believe anything.
I hope Jake doesn’t pick either one. If he does, just to satisfy ABC, it’s probably all over by now anyway, which is why Jake is “happy” now. I will agree with everyone who doesn’t want a “recycled” Bach-ette. Someone new please!!
A few things:
1. Whether Ali meant it or not, I’m glad she apologized for her behavior toward Vienna. You don’t always have to like people… but most of us hide it and aren’t outwardly mean. And I think Ali realizes that now.
2. I still don’t like Ali. I’m sure she’s a good person and all that, but she won’t make a good bachelorette – her personality is too bland. I’d actually be interested in watching Gia as Bach’ette. She was pretty funny last night. Also, I noticed her accent a lot more last night in all the clips. I just really wish she’d wash all the product out of her hair.
3. I think Elizabeth is probably hilarious in real life.
4. Despite what I just said, I hope Gia is not next. I hope the next bachelorette is someone new, who has an interesting job, is a well rounded person, and FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT’S GOOD in her very late 20s at the youngest. I’m talking 29, minimum. I’m so sick of these girls in their early to mid 20s saying they are tired of the singles scene and are desperate to find love. I’m closing in on 30 (this year!
) and I’m still not desperate yet.
5. Rozlyn, all you had to do was say “it’s true, big whoop”. And it would’ve all blown over. There was nothing inherently scandalous about what you did, just that you broke the terms of your contract. You could’ve actually made it into this great romantic story… and you wouldn’t have wanted Jake in the first place, so I don’t see why you care what the heck people think. That said, you just made yourself look bad last night – you swore on your child’s life and you accused OHCH of being unfaithful… which is just not classy.
6. Seriously people, who the heck is Katherine?
7. i don’t care what anyone says, I *heart* Juan so much. So happy to see a clip of him last night!
8. Don’t you love how the people we never heard from on the show do so much talking? Jessie? Valishia? How do you have opinions?

#39 – Lauren…I will not give his name on the blog, but “He Who Must Not Be Named” is the 4th runner-up in Jillian’s season. We have collectively agreed (although without a show of hands, ot votes) not to mention him by name because of his selfish actions through the season.
Here are some clues: 1 – He sang the “cheesiest of cheesy” songs supposedly for Jill, but it was already supposed to be a hit in Mexico; 2 – Jake accused him of having a girlfriend during the season and he denied it to Jill when confronted, then basically admitted it when she kicked his tushy to the curb; and, 3 – Regrettably he is from the GREAT STATE of TEXAS
I was not a huge Jason fan, but I think the entire “I love bears” conversation was one of the best all time Bachelor moments.
I know that isn’t really relevant to anything that happened on the show last night, but I just had to put it out there.
ROZ TRIED TO BURN CHRIS H……BUT HOW DID THAT MAKE HER LOOK BETTER? THAT SHE WAS IMMATURE ENOUGH TO BRING THAT UP BUT ALSO THAT SHE HAD AN AFFAIR WITH A MARRIED MAN??
I DON’T KNOW ANY MARRIED MAN THAT WOULD BE TAKING A ROAD TRIP WITH THEIR DAD TO GO MEET SOMEONE HE BECAME “FRIENDS” WITH.
Unicorns and wizards? Put your hand up if a producer and parent visited you? HILARIOUS!
The Roz segment reminded me, too, of the Salem Witch Trials. She should have been provided a lawyer to cross-examine those women. And even if she’d been friendly and flirty with a producer, that didn’t mean she was closed to Jake, so what’s the big deal? If it had been a female producer that she was hanging out with, would that have been ‘inappropriate’ also? Are they only allowed to talk to other contestents and Jake? Jake, himself, was kissing five women a night and making no promises to her. She owed him nothing but a CHANCE. She wasn’t engaged to the producer, she just got friendly with him, and even if she kissed him or put her hands all over him or whatever, she was going out on dates with Jake like she was supposed to. It seems to me that it was between them, not between her and the show (like with Wes and his alleged girlfriend). The way the show handled it suggests clearly that her offense probably had to do with a technical detail, something the producer had agreed to.
The way they attacked her was very disturbing. I actually thought she handled it pretty well. But it turned me off to OHCH in a big way, and to the show in general. Much as I love reading this blog, this will be my last fix of “the Bachelor(ette)”.
Um… Team Neither? I love Hare, but parts of his attitude last night with Roz weren’t so pretty. Roz was definitely on the defensive, and I don’t totally buy what she’s selling. BUT… Something has never smelled right about this story. I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I think she got favors from some leech of a producer. I think she flirted with him. I think she’s friends with him. But I doubt there’s more to it than that. I would have believed the girls IF they had been selling the same story all along. But so many of them had said they saw nothing and had no idea what Hare was talking about when he announced Roz was leaving, but now all of the sudden everybody has an eye witness account? I don’t buy it. These are the same girls who all jumped on the “we hate Vienna” bus even though they now admit she never did anything to anyone. These “ladies” are, for the most part, immature little followers. I don’t trust any of them. Don’t get me wrong; I don’t believe Roz either. I think all sides are embellishing a LOT for the sake of fame.
As far as the next Bach, we know it’s Ali. That was painfully obvious last night with her saving face apology and pronouncements that she would never let Facebook get in the way of true love ever again. I doubt she was ever called back to work. What kind of emergency could there possibly be putting all those annoying ads on the right side of my screen? I think she was told, “hey, you’re probablynot F1, so if you make a dramatic exit right now, we’ll give you next season.” From the rumors I’ve read about her salary to be the next Bach’ette, I don’t blame her one bit. But I won’t be watching. Jake was completely boring, so they had to manufacture all this drama to make the show barely watchable. Ali is more boring than Jake, so imagine what they’ll have to do for her season?? No thank you. I like my crap, fake dating shows on VH1, where they belong. So sick of these recycled Bachelors and Bachelorettes. That being said, if it was Gia, I’d watch.
And even if i don’t watch Ali’s season, I’ll continue reading cuz Lincee ROCKS.
Something is rotten in the state of Denmark one way or another with this Roz vs. ABC issue. My instincts point to ABC throwing Roz under the bus for ratings.
This whole episode felt kind of icky. Like I needed to take a shower when it was all done. I agree with everyone who said we don’t know the whole story. We just don’t. Something is just fishy. Oh well….
I think I’m also on Team Neither. I think I just don’t really care who he picks this time round. I can’t see it lasting with either. Hmmm… maybe this time I won’t be so hurt when they break up 3 months from now. Heck… I think he should toss them both and go out with Christina. He certainly had lots of nice things to say about her on last night’s show!
Willa (79) – I’m not sure that he was a “MARRIED MAN”. Many folks are saying that the producer was divorced from his wife before this season ever started. Maybe OHCH’s hitting on his wife in New Zealand is the straw that broke the camel’s back in that case. Hah!
Ali TOTALLY needs a nose job! When she turns her head to the side her profile is bad!
Why all the Vienna love all of a sudden?
Roz – That girl is beautiful. A liar, but a very pretty one.
Women Tell All was more entertaining than it thought it would be. Here’s my take.
1. Roz. Looks like both sides were gearing up for an upcoming legal battle. Roz was told to go on the show and deny everything to help her (or the producer’s) lawsuit. Chris Harrison seemed a capable cross-examiner. I wonder if Roz’s lawyers knew Chris would have three witnesses testify? Roz is a fool. Had she played her cards better at any point in all this she could have let the show taken her somewhere. Even going into last night she could have salvaged herself. But as I said, she is a fool. Look for her to resurface in men’s magazines, if she’s lucky.
2. Ali. Biggest phony ever. She played a huge role in cutting down Vienna at every opportunity and now she wants to defend V’s honor? Gee, could the fact that she’s campaigning to be the next Bachelorette have anything to do with it? She is one of my least favorite women EVER to appear on this show. And that includes Vienna and Roz!
3. Jake. He either pulls a Womack or else picks Vienna then drops her after a week or so. CH did not ask him if he is in love now, he asked him if he is happy with his decision. He also said that “hopefully” Jake finds his wife next week. How much more obvious could it be?
4. Glad Jake said what he said about Christina. I liked her, too, maybe the most of all. She seemed like an easy person to live with, didn’t take herself too seriously, etc. Now that it’s all over, she and Ashleigh were my favorites.
5. Loved the comment from Vienna about Tenley dreaming in cartoons. I wish I had said that.
6. The Bachelor Pad “preview” did not look very appealing. Not overly impressed with the charity work by those kooky Bachelor alumni.
Oh, about the producer being married, he was separated when taping began and isnow officially divorced. I personally don’t think it’s an “affair” if your dating or whatever while separated (after all, in some states, you can’t even get a divorce until you’ve been separated x number of months or years); so I don’t think that’s an issue. I do think, though, being newly separated would make him more likely to prey on girls on the show — assuming that happened. Newly single guys can sometimes be pretty gross.

Marus #74, I totally agree!!!… all these girls are children and if they are having trouble at 25 and they look like that then there is no hope for the average 30 yr old! I mean granted we may have sanity on our side but in this day & age is that enough? No!… I rounded 30 in October and this show has done nothing but depress me yet I cant stop watching…I eat 3 100 calorie packs of pop corn and then go for a run once the show closes! It’s a vicious cycle but what do you do? I think you die alone but im not sure…anyways…
OMG – Roz you skanky thing – ok part of me actually thought she was innocent at one point – i would have believed her had the girls not all had something to say about it and they did and her denial wasn’t very convincing. An then she is trashing Chris and his flirtation with the producers wife…really? have we all seen the producer? – how can he get a wife and a Skanky Roz on the side??? so jacked up
I say Ella for new Bachelorette – she is gorgeous, has a son and needs a daddy for him and she is 29- her shelf life is almost over and someone needs to intervene

Not only this season (and season’s before) several bachelors & bachelorettes have had children and she’s the ONLY person that has ever made such a claim, and I sincerely believe that if other bach/ettes have had parental issues in the past, we would have heard about it by now. I have to admit that I was a bit offended about the “shelf life is almost over” —- I’m not dead – and neither are all my gazillion number of 40-something friends. #90 —- just a head’s up, life just starts at about 30 (because you finally figure out who the hell you are and what you want out of life) and by 40 life can be pretty awesome. If you think that you’re going to expire because someone is 29— that’s just sad and I’m sorry for you.

I don’t think the other girls were making up stories about Roz. It just seemed like they had kept quiet about the information for so long that they were relieved to finally talk about it.

#29: If you’re such a hater of the show/OHCH/this blog, or any of the above, don’t read it! This is entertaining, and we’re having fun! No one needs to hate on Chris Harrison! And to the others that said it, of course this show is going to blow the Roz scandal out of proportion! It’s TV! They try to blow everything out of proportion, and if they didn’t, we wouldn’t all be watching this still.

#115 gc, you’re forgiven and hang in there! Just remember, no matter how hot, young, (insert other adjective here) etc, someone is, there is always some guy out there who is sick of her crap. The most beautiful, skinny, intelligent, spiritual, wonderful people get dumped or can’t get dates sometimes too….I choose to look at that as proof that being “perfect”, or what we think of as perfect doesn’t guarantee you anything, so no point wishing to be that way. Whatever you have going for you….super quick Lincee-like wit, sparkling eyes, athletic build, great career, whatever….will fit in with some guy’s idea of perfect because he will be in love with you. PS, lest you think I’m a newlywed and have a totally skewed view of the world, it’s the opposite….I’m divorced, in my 40′s and currently single. Having said that, I’ve been lucky enough to be in love a couple of times in my life…and I fully expect to find love again! I know there’s a great guy out there who’s gonna love what I’ve got to offer….all wrapped up in a curvy, divorced, far from perfect package. PS, I agree with the poster who said that this is probably why having 30+ women on the Bach-ette wouldn’t work….we finally get our heads on straight, so the ratings would probably suck!

Lincee, this is the first time I am actually posting a comment but have been reading your blog for a couple of seasons…absolute greatness….
My prediction is that Jake sends Tenley packing…She’s more than a little hung up on the whole divorce thing and Jake probably realizes that they will be 90 and she will still be bringing it up. Since there is only one miserable choice left, he professes his undying love to Vienna. Vienna finds out that pilots don’t bring in as much money as she thought, so she tells him that she was in love for ‘like a week’ but now she’s over it. Jake’s heart crys again…yada yada. I can see why Jake doesnt get many second dates. I would rather read the phone book cover to cover than go out with this guy.
I agree with most everyone on here…Gia’s comment about Tenley is freaking genius.
Taking all the emotion out of the pro/anti Roz thing we see that she claims a refusal on ABC’s part to be in touch with her child, while other parents have clearly not been prevented from speaking with their children — hence her story doesn’t hold water.
Second, the bottom line is that she joined the show for the purpose of competing to be JAKE’s choice, not to meet and/or carry on with staff members of the program (or anyone else for that matter). That’s the deal when you sign on — no surprise there. Any flirtatious or otherwise sexually suggestive behavior with anyone else seems to me to be inappropriate simply because you’ve now changed the circumstances of your presence on the show — reason enough to be sent packing. Jake was clearly enamoured of Roz when she was in the house — by carrying on in whatever manner with a staffer, she remained in the house while others that Jake might develop feelings for are possibly sent away, which is not fair to anyone.
Finally, I generally agree that the women on this show have traditionally been young (which certainly contributes to the lack of long-term success of the relationships), but the hard truth is that the Bachelor is a show designed to show off bodies, and let’s face it, younger women generally have nicer figures than those of us who are older. As a woman in her 50s it’s not something I feel especially happy to acknowledge, but reality is difficult sometimes. The demographic ABC is trying to attract requires that they offer women (and men) of this age bracket rather than older, more mature and more experienced singles.
I gotta say, though, I’ve had enough of Vienna and her styled by Britney Spears extensions to last a lifetime, and really dread seeing that mess in a dress next week!
Rozlyn is one of those girls who thinks because she is beautiful she can bat those big eyes and flash that smile at you and make up whatever she wants to say and you will believe it. She is physically beautiful, but her soul is full of gunk! (…with apologies to Dr. Seuss….)

Plus even NON-spoiler sites are reporting a Vienna win. However, there is not a chance in any of Saturn’s rings that he’s still with her!!!

did anyone here watch that show… it was called something like the Age of Love of something… it had women in their 40s and late 30s (i think the youngest was 39 and the oldest was 49), the bachelor was 30 or so, and a couple episodes in, they brought in women in their 20s. It shows why all the bachettes are young… the older women were still gorgeous, and also cool, had their heads on straight, knew what they wanted, didn’t act like silly twits, and constantly laid the smackdown on the younger ones (and of course the dude picked one of the girls in her 20s).
When the whole Roz thing happened — the other half of it was called a “staffer” or a “member of the crew” or some such. Which can be just about anything from someone holding a mic to getting someone coffee. Producers are producers. Period. You’d never call a producer anything less, esp not “a member of the crew” (or whatever was said when it originally happened). Did this guy get a promotion to producer AFTER he was fired? Seems like ABC making more out of it than it’s worth.
To Love Waves- People don’t suddenly go into a vacuum when they go on a show. They have friends, they respond to the people around them, they think about people they are dating, etc. I haven’t read the contract, so maybe there was a specific clause relating to producers, but otherwise she fulfilled her end by staying in the competition and giving Jake a chance.
As far as the thing with her phone calls, she made some distinction between women whose ex’s had signed waivers allowing their kids to be recorded for TV and her own ex. It’s very possible they delayed her requests to speak to her child because they couldn’t record it. I recall seeing scenes of women talking to their kids on the phone.The producer in question probably did favor her (gave her his cell phone, etc), but I think the reason the show demonized her is not because Roz did anything particularly egregious, but because they thought it made for drama. If they were really concerned for Jake, they would have let him talk to her and decide for himself.
Interesting points about Roz. But she is clearly not credible. Hard to believe three or more of the other Bachelorettes were lying and she was completely innocent.
No, she wasn’t completely innocent. But she just denied having sex with him, as far as I can tell. One of the ‘accusers’ just said she couldn’t find her in the middle of the night, and it seemed rather strange that she was going into everyone’s room looking for her. Another said she was lying on the couch with her butt in the air– what kind of accusation is that? I think something was left out of that story. There was only one who actually saw her making out. but that didn’t mean she couldn’t fall for Jake. If that were true, the whole premise of the show is wrong, because Jake certainly made out with more than one girl.
Absolutely loved it when OHCH did the flight attendent hand motions for the exit in the outtakes. Priceless.
#98 BLS — There was one other particular woman that I remember had a very similar experience as Roz. Her name was Megan and I believe she was on Jason’s season. She was also a single mom and was to have a storyline with her son. Again, her ex refused to sign the papers and the producers did not let her talk to her son as they had promised. She also threw a fit and got edited as a major b*tch. She did a very good interview with reality steve and spilled the dirt. Not saying I believe everything that Roz is selling, but I don’t believe OHCH either. I’m sure the truth is somewhere in between but they set the predicent with Megan. She was willing to talk and there may be others. The consistent thing seems to be that the ex won’t sign the release, the women get angry and then the producers run with an alternate, nasty edit … I just wish they wouldn’t do it to women with kids … although I just wish, people with kids would not come on this show. Please don’t crucify me … it’s not that people with kids don’t deserve love … just that this show edits people in such a horrid manner and people with kids have a responsibility to their kids and I hate seeing them vilified. But then I’m beginning to hate what they do to everyone … Maybe I need to start sh*tting rainbows and dreaming in cartoons.
I think Tenley could be fun as bach’ette! They could put in some animation rabbits and birds, at the end the bachelors could show up on white horses. Jillian could appear as her fairy godmother. Of course we would finally get a happy ending…
Am I the only one that thinks Tenley was edited to show her not being ready for love? We did not see her having fun, being goofy until the end of the season. I am just saying…
I think Corrie would be pretty fun as the bach’ette too.

Marus–yes, I loved that one!!! It had that cutie tennis player as the bach. And, of course, he picked the game playing 20 something girl (remember the home visit? she couldn’t even toss a salad?!?!). I followed them for a bit & of course they broke up w/in months.
I have heard he’s not actually a pilot right now, but that he owns a limo company in Dallas. I could have misheard though.
Where oh, where did our former bachelorette go??? We need a take on the contract and other girls that had kids in her season…..
IMO – I don’t care who you are or what you look like, you go on a show to find love and you are cozying up to a producer, staffer (haha) or a memeber of the crew (haha) in any way, fashion or form……you need to be booted!!! It’s not fair to Jake but you signed up for the show KNOWING you would be 1 of many. HELLO!
I also think Roz was probably sooooo drunk, she probably couldn’t remember anything she did, missed her scheduled call time to her kid, etc…. So no I don’t believe Roz because she is denying EVERYTHING! Where there’s smoke, there’s fire! Something inappropriate happened…kisses, sex, whatever, I don’t care…and the producer admitted something. Case closed.

Who cares if the whole Roz thing was creative editing or a smear campaign by ABC, or whatever it was. It was entertaining to watch. Like Roz said, everything is fair game according to the contract. Sounds like you are signing your life away. I do feel bad for her being that she is a mother to a young child. I kind of think that the girls felt threatened by her at first (beautiful and flirtatious), but I can’t believe that three of them would completely make up stories like the ones they told on WTA. And Ashleigh looked like she really had something to say, but didn’t? If OHCH says that the “staffer/producer” admitted to the inappropriate physical behavior, then maybe that is all they thought they needed to boot her. According to Valisha, the producer was the forward one. So maybe he was just spewing things that weren’t true. Who knows!
And I don’t think he will pull a Womack, but I don’t think he is still with whoever it is he chooses. He just always looks like he is forcing a smile. He didn’t look happy to me.

From a fellow 40+fabulous something, I had a “starter marriage” at 23, divorced at 26. Take it from me, it was tough,but my 30′s FAR exceeded my 20′s & 40 is even better!! What was up with that comment that Roz made about OHCH?? Uncalled for!
Well that was a successfully planned and executed sacrifice, diverting all negative attention from Vienna to Roz. Gia, Ella, Jesse, Valishia, Ashley E and Corrie all said in their exit videos and numerous interviews after leaving that they saw “nothing inappropriate going on with Roz and the producer” but now they claim otherwise.
So who are the liars and who is telling the truth? Roz has stuck to the same story all along yet the other stories are amoebic in how they keep changing. Their statements can all be found online in text and video, unless ABC got wise and pulled them.
The next day Valishia apologized for what she did and said she felt really bullied into it by the producers. The whole thing was done bc CH did not like Roz calling him a liar for what he said about her, and also because Jake was embarrassed to have chosen a woman who turned out to be a savings-account cleaner, among other things. Roz was not particularly endearing but no human being deserves to be so viciously demonized in the press as a ho and worse. It’s like she was publicly humiliated a la Hester Prynne and about as civilized as “off with her head!”. The names people are calling her are horribly mean and I found her to be believable. If I were backed into a corner on national TV by a guy I knew had hit on my friends’ wife I’d be furious about the hypocrisy of it all and I might also come out fighting. Insiders say CH is not an angel, but who is?
The deleted scenes of the characters acting all real and funny pointed out the hypocrisy of calling it “Reality TV” bc it showed us how scripted and acted out it is. They sorta shot themselves in the foot with that.
I felt her pain when she walked out and the women stared at her in stony silence as they were instructed to in the Green Room. It makes you wonder what they put in the punch at the “briefing” they held beforehand. . So Jake’s reputation is now fixed-up bc the heat is off his controversial choice and all the women who lied now feel dirty. A grand moment in Reality TV. I am so proud of Corrie for not participating and she too said in her exit interview that she saw nothing at all. Jesse changed her story from “I was sick so I was inside and I saw them” to “I came in from the pool and saw them”. Why would they lie? Because the carrot dangled in front of them was the chance to be the next bacherlorette, which pays six-figures. Jake is being paid six-figures as well. So do we know he is being real when he says he is there to find a wife? Lots of pots calling kettles black.

Also, Corrie said that Jake asked her if she’d “had a lot of one-night stands” so she overcompensated bc she was so insulted, by admitting she was a virgin and that’s how it came out that she was a virgin. She even said this in interviews and said she’d have preferred not to have told the whole world that fact but felt she needed to defend herself. she didn’t know they’d cut that question out and didn’t want people to think he had cause to ask her that. I am not sure about everyone else, but if a guy asked me that on a first date he’d not get a second date with me either. And yet ABC cut that out too. Time is the best tattletale so maybe all the truth will one day come out and Roz won’t have to move to another country for being branded a homewrecker and worse. She is now getting hate mail calling her words I have never used. So Roz is the villian, and her son is also enduring hell, Vienna is misunderstood, and Jake is near to being sainted? It’s not a light and funny show anymore after all that.
BTW–Vienna’s remark that Tenley dreams in cartoons shows a creatively hilarious sense of humor. But why only show her good side now that Jake has demanded PR repair tactics? They made everyone hate on Vienna but then had to change course when Jake stood up for her and demanded they fix that.

I HIGHLY doubt Roz didn’t get to talk to her kid, with or without consent. Since when does ABC film the parents talking to their kids? If they do, they never show it! THe day they start showing the parents cooing into the phone with their kids is the day I’m out. I try to forget some of these idiots ARE parents.
Roz’s comment was sooooo uncalled for. If she’s got nothing to hide, why attack OHCH? Lame… she just made herself look worse.

Gia- so funny. I thought she seemed like a generally nice person too. She looked embarrassed to see her fight with Vienna. I truly think she is genuine and really sweet. I wouldn’t mind her has bach’ette. I like silly people- even if they are sometimes a little vapid. This is entertainment. Not a crusade to save the world.
OHCH- he was a little rough on Roz, but it was kinda fun to watch her squirm. I agree with Marus… she should have just admitted to some favors for flirting, but nothing was sexual. I would have accepted that as the truth. Swearing on her child’s life though? Not neccessary.
Overall, fun show I suppose. Did anyone think it was weird that they didn’t ask the girls who they thought would be the final rose? Interesting….

I can’t believe people are eating up Ali’s “apology” to Vienna. Ali knows she came off poorly in some parts of this show, particularly with her relentless bitching about Vienna. She looked like a total meanie. Whether it was due to editing or not, she needed to do damage control so she could start her stint as the Bachelorette (don’t they make it so OBVIOUS by how the interview their future chosen ones?) with as few negative feelings to her as possible. I don’t buy it, and while I don’t think she’s a horrible person, I don’t like her and really don’t care to see her as the bachelorette. This choice iis as bad as Deanna.
Corriefan- with all due respect, ABC can’t help that there are some lunatics out there that will take the time out of their day to write letters to Roz. Those same people probably confront actors/actresses in public for what their characters do. Some people are CRAZZZZZZY. Unfortunately, I guess ABC really tapes that market. What does that say for us? haha

#92- thank you! Was anyone else just plain annoyed by the whole Roz thing? They were playing it up so much. Its the biggest controversy of Bachelor history, because that is what they have made it to be. Annoying. I think all the hype encourages people to do shady things for their 10 minutes of fame. The appropriate thing would be to not give it any attention… but that doesn’t get ratings, right?
I also could have gone without the bachelor-and-bachelorettes-doing-good part. I’m a huge advocate of volunteering, but really? They barely did anything and then talked about how good it felt to give back.
Oh, and Michelle? Hilarious. “I don’t need a therapist, I’m stable. I have a job and… I’m stable.”

Bless Michelle’s heart, I don’t think she’s AS nutty as she came across on the show. I think she cracked under the pressure and couldn’t handle it (plus hopefully had a few drinks??). But I had to hide during the Women Tell All when she talked about how she’s stable because she has a job. Yikes. If you have to tell people, “Look, I’m sane. I have a job and everything. Sane people have jobs!” it ain’t good.

Also, question: What is with all the love for Chris Harrison? He’s kinda skeezy. And more than one person has reported that he hits on women on those destination dates. I like that Roz called him out since he tried to call her on made up facts too.
Even though we all thought a bunch of these shows this were a snore, I have to admit the WTA suddenly made this show esp. more fun for me cuz of the girls’ interactions; excepting Roz…she needs to be b*tch slapped! Her attitude towards OHCH was dispicable (you’re right Lincee, gotta love that man! He was aMAZing w/Roz, agree?).
I have seen most of the Bach/Bachette shows since they started; because I’m a hopeless romantic, I’m addicted to it & I love analyzing who will win…but Lincee’s re-caps are THE icing on our cupcakes! It ‘s a great gab fest also discussing with my fam & gal pals at work; the show appeals to women of all ages: my Mom never misses & she’s 82!!! I rarely miss, my sis (60′s)never misses nor my niece (30′s)! I am crazy*+;$*:):) in love (50′s) with my 2nd hubby of 7 yrs… Good God, our Mom’s fixed us up & we had a blind date married w/in 6 months. Howz that for a great love story? Let me tell you girlls, love makes you feel ageless & alive in any decade!!! Prediction: Vienna or a Womack & straight to Ali. Poor Tenley: I thought Jake would find her glass slipper!
I feel bad for Roz. Whether she did it or not, everyone ganged up on her, and that’s just terrible. I know everyone wants to believe she had a fling with the producer because it’s just more entertaining and interesting. It’s quite possible she simply wanted to talk to her son, and the producer was the only one willing to help her out by lending her his phone. Maybe that was against the rules, so they booted them off the show.

Let’s face it…the only “entertainment” in the WTA was the confronting of Roz and the behind the scenes shots. Roz is ABSOLUTELY lying. I can’t bring myself to believe that OHCH hits on the women. I really think this would have been publized by at least a couple of these crazy girls if that were true. I agree with Gia..if Roz had just come out and said, Hey I like this producer and want off the show, then none of the other crap would have had to happen. But she didn’t. I don’t think she deserves to be getting hate mail (if that is true) over this stupid incident. I just thinks it makes for fun conversation for us bloggers!

#175 EmmieN…Yes, I think it was Corrie who bashed Vienna. I think she is a good judge of character. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders, but I don’t think she would make for an entertaining bachelorette. I have given up on any hope that these people are there to find love. They are there for a good time and to be on TV. And I enjoy watching them humilate/entertain themselves. It’s just good TV.
And no more bashing OHCH please! He is just a nice guy doing a job he is paid to do. He said even his wife (who was in the WTA audience) laughed at Roz’s ridiculous accusation. Only OHCH lovers here

I totally agree that Roz is trying to avoid a lawsuit. I’m sure she somehow breached her contract with her actions. She was definitely coached to say “absolutely not” about everything. Deny, deny, deny….
I definitely have to wonder if Jake ends up dumping both Vienna and Tenley – either on the final episode or shortly afterward. He was way too emotional toward Ali on the WTA for him to be in a relationship with someone else.
Can’t wait to watch the finale, but can’t imagine that it will be any more entertaining than this week!

Corrie wasn’t allowed to speak because she was wouldn’t change her story. She said before that she didn’t see anything inappropriate, just like Ella and Jessie did. But somehow since they were sent packing, Ella and Jesse’s stories have changed. Interesting. How come CH could never answer what the inappropriate behavior was? He had to defer to Ella, Jesse and Valisha for the details. Valisha has since apologized to Roz and has stated in an interview that she was pressured by producers prior to the taping to say what she did. And how come Roz was sequestered until she was brought out on stage? Seems a little fishy to me ABC. Maybe Roz did flirt to be able to call her child or was under the influence. That does not `

Um, do not think that Roz is a classy gal folks. Yes, she is a person and we need to be considerate of that, but regardless of who said what, there was a lot of evidence of inappropriate ‘stuff’ which CH did define as detracting from the real reason she was there, which was to have a potential relationship with Jake. Thats enough for her to have gone home. She was not entirely truthful. When you have so many people, Gia being one of them, and other who could detail, bit for bit, what they experienced in seeing her ‘inappropriateness’ (again anything that showed she was not there for Jake), I think we can see she didn’t have the WHOLE truth out there. Whatever is said about her, She showed extremely POOR form in going after CH and making that ridiculous comment as if she was a elementary kid scraping it out on the playground at recess.
So much said here about Corrie, I agree with Tracey, she was the one bashing all the girls, mainly Vienna, which in turn led Ali to toast her regarding her rants, which in turn led to a pact against her. Nice stuff.
Not a big fan of Rachel McAdams Mean girl wanna be Ali. Yeah she apologized, so we must some how honor that, but she is still someone I would not consider to be a good friend type. She should have a t-shirt made that says “Beware”.
I think we would all bet that he will not pick our enchanted character Tenley, just not happening. I swing back and forth from believing he picked no one, (wise choice) to Vienna (UNWISE choice). However, I believe Vienna wins.

That’s the essence of what you said in the comment you made regarding my post. And learning to actually read the comments you respond to might behoove you in the future. While I do think this show is pretty awful and only worth watching to mock it/play drinking games to it, if you’ll reread my previous post you’ll note that I start with “Lincee, all your snarky recaps are spot on…”. Lincee does a brilliant job, as does Kristen Baldwin on Popwatch and guyinausten (thanks for that tip, Lincee!). I wrote my previous post because, for all the reasons I listed there, and because Lincee seems like she’s got a brain and uses it (try it some time), I’m actually curious to know why she’s such a fan of OHCH. I did not write my previous post to detract from your or anyone else’s fun. If, however, encountering people who disagree with you does prevent you from enjoying life in all the ways you are accustomed to, I suggest you stop listening to your fellow man right now. There are so many opinions in the world that conflict with yours, and I fear that encountering them would only disappoint, anger, and frustrate you, possibly to the point of losing all in joy in life.
