Bachelor Recap: Episode 3

The recap will be up as soon as I recover from my video blog session with AOL.

The recap will be up as soon as I figure out what in the world I’m going to say after such a painfully boring episode.

The recap will be up as soon as I permanently delete “Kiss From A Rose” from my iTunes library.

In the meantime, sound off below in the comment section!

I so wanted to enjoy Ashley and Brad’s date, but since my ears were bleeding from the first part of it, I was tending to that situation instead of seeing how wonderful it was that they were both vulnerable for each other! Gag. I still like her; I just hope they never let those two sing together (or separately, for that matter) again!

lincee – as my girlfriends and i were watching the bachelor last night we had a burning question and we want your opinion. here it is. do you think that the bachelor gets a little boner when he’s kissing the girls? and if so, what happens when he goes around kissing multiple girls? do you think they notice? i wouldn’t want to hug him and feel a little something something and be like “ew, you were just having one on one time with someone else”. our thought was that maybe he wears a special “spanks-like” undergarment that controls his little buddy. weigh in.

So, can we talk for one second about CRAZY STALKER MICHELLE? Like, for REAL? My favorite is when the contestants start complaining about the Bachelor dating other women and how awful group dates are. Remember how that’s what you signed UP for, girl? Remember how that’s how EVERY SINGLE SEASON has worked thus far? CHILL OUT.

I officially love Emily. And hate her a little bit because she’s perfect, but mostly love her. I think she has a real chance.

And check out here, where Jennifer Aniston talks about her love of The Bachelor: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20458432,00.html?xid=rss-topheadlines&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+people%2Fheadlines+%28PEOPLE.com%3A+Top+Headlines%29

Obviously the running theme for this season is the loss of a loved one or abandonment. The ABC casting crew went in to overdrive with this group. We cringed with yet another story about the loss of father somehow, somewhere. Yes, it is tragic to lose a loved one but every girl so far has had a similar story. I found that weird. Maybe this all goes with the new and improved Brad Womack. Hopefully we won’t see a new ABC show with Brad’s therapist in the cast.

Did love Emily as she seems so genuine.

Was it just me, or did anyone else hear the quote marks each time OHCH and HTCBrad said “ladies” last night? “Hello, ‘ladies,’ how are you this morning?”

The highlight of the episode, imho, was Madison leaving. I actually had a change of heart about her and was proud that she decided to leave when she realized it wasn’t for her.

I just don’t get Michelle… she is so pretty and talks like she is so self-confident, yet she acts the exact opposite. Let the man come to you…don’t be a stalker. He is going to have one-on-one time with every girl there, at least the ones he’s interested in, so just chill out and you will have your turn. He’s not your boyfriend! Drives me crazy!!!

As much as I love Emily, he seems to be more attracted to brunettes. Looks like he and Chantal have a pretty intimate date next week.

My faves are still Emily, Ashley S and Chantal.

Here’s my random observation…according to Emily’s time line, she’s 23-24… Brad’s 38… Emily’s very sweet and lovely, but come on people — she’s too young for Brad —- I think I’m on the Chantal O train… she seems like she has common sense, she’s lived some life, and has a brain in her head (not that Emily doesn’t, but she’s very vulnerable)… and I’m guessing Chantal is at least 30 if not older…. that’s my story and I’m sticking to it…

Chantal O is 28, I believe that is what was said on the ABC website. Brad is obviously more attracted to brunettes.
I love Emily and you can already see she has “Next Bachelorette” written all over her face. The producers are not hiding the fact she is their pick.
Madison redeemed herself last night when she removed the fangs and became a real person. Kudos to her for leaving if she wasn’t feeling it.
In spite of all that, let’s be honest and admit that last night’s show was Boring with a capital B

did you guys notice that Brad seemed to walk a mile to get back to the girls after talking to Madison. They showed him walking, turning a corner, and walking, turning another corner and walking.

I hope Chantal doesn’t get spun up into Michelle’s web. Michelle obviously sees her as competition and is trying to take her out.

Why does Brad not see how psycho she is? He loves that she’s stalking him. Creepy.

I like Emily a lot… and sure, she’s only 24. But I think she’s going to have to go for an older man… I mean, thinking of 24 year old men I know… not many of them are at the same level she is. She’s been through a lot and it seems to have made her more mature than your average 24 year old. she has to be.

I also like the funeral director… partly because all the funeral directors i am friends with are totally cool people…

Carol…My girls and I were thinking the EXACT same thing last night!! How does he keep “Little HTCB” under control during all those make-outs with girls in bikinis?? Hilarious! According to my long-suffering boyfriend who has to endure my rants and raves about the crazy girls, spanx would not be the answer as that would be really uncomfortable and cut off some serious blood flow. Now I’m intrigued…

I agree with Liana…. I like Emily, but the producers are setting her up to be the next Bachelorette. Hopefully psycho Michelle will go home soon. I think Brad’s final picks will be Ashley (singing date Ashley), Chantal and Emily with Shawntel (the funeral director) being the dark horse. The dentist Ashley is this season’s Frank, I’m afraid….first date curse.

Kudos to Madison for redeeming herself and admitting she shouldn’t be there.

I have to say I like Brad as the Bachelor this time around, he is a million times better than smarmy Jason and Jake the Fake!! lol

To Mandy about Brad not seeing how crazy Michelle is, you could see it in his body language that she was starting to annoy him.
At the cocktail party when she came up and stole him away with saying “Am I interrupting?”
You could see the frustration on his face as he gracefully tried to pull away from that conversation and his body language when he walked away with Michelle was that of being fed up.
Of course, he seems a little two-face as well when he said that Michelle could steal him away anytime. What crap.
