Bachelorette Ali: Episode 4

The recap will be up as soon as I leave the Texas Tattoo Emporium on Westheimer.  A lovely gentleman by the name of Steffan is my artist.  I created this shield with a single red rose peeking over the top.  The letters O.H.C.H. are magnificently displayed on the shield.  It symbolizes my protection of Our Host Chris Harrison and the ridicule he receives each week when he says, “Gentlemen?  This is the final rose.”

I will protect his heart.

While Steffan is finishing up, I’m using the time to create a drinking game for next week’s episode.  I haven’t quite figured out the official rules yet, but I do know that the participant has to take a sip/shot of [pick your poison] each time Kasey uses the word heart.  My original thought was to include the words “guard” and “protect” but figured we’d all be asleep by the time the second hour rolled around.

And some of us have to stay alert.

In the meantime, feel free to express your feelings on Kasey’s trip to Crazy Town in the comment section.  You know you want to.  I’ll be back this afternoon.

This one was almost too much to watch. But I. Can’t. Stop. Looking.

I’ve never been so uncomfortable watching an episode in my life! The Kasey singing, the Weatherman singing. Ugh. Just ugh.

I loved when Kirk (?) said…Just what we need…another guy playing the guitar around here. Priceless.

Biggest surprise: Chris (the other Chris, not Cape Cod) speaks! Who is this guy?

Although most things were floating away in OKC last night…my tv (luckily) was not. Oh my! So many pillow worthy moments last night! However, also some really funny ones to….like when Roberto said…”The forecast for the Weatherman tonight…looks like there’s a high pressure front moving in.” I nearly fell off my sofa I was laughing so hard!

Yes it was uncomfortable on SO many levels….yet some of the best “entertainment” in ages. I’m loving this season.

#4 heather – agreed, great line by Kirk. Also loved when CC Chris went completely off on Kasey (I think it was Kasey) earlier in the show. CCC is one of the funniest, real guys this show has seen in a long time. Hard to believe he’s still single.

As someone who plays for Broadway shows (albeit in Chicago) the “audition” was utterly priceless. Loved the faces of the producer, choreographer, etc. in the audience.

The singing….oh, lord the SINGING. I had to watch the episode alone last night, which didn’t stop me from saying “Oh, dear….” at several offkeytastic moments… and then the tattooage…. and I know why she got rid of Jesse (no chemistry) but wouldn’t you rather look at him and maybe let HIM sing than bask in so much heart-protecting crazy?

I heart Roberto and Chris. I don’t know most of these guys. I hope she picks SOMEONE though….

Still missing Kiptonyte.

I loved when Alli said that she thought that it was cute that Kasey brought her candy because it was sweet and not over the top or coming on too strong….wait till she sees what is around the corner!! I CANNOT believer he got a tatoo.

There is an ABC intern who just got a raise for convincing him that this was a good idea. You know the camera crew was freaking out about it!!

Oh and can we please talk about the fact that the 11 gems on the side of the shield represent the 11 guys left in the game and that he thinks of them like brothers! what the heck is this guy smoking????

I was so embarrassed for both Weatherboy and Kasey. Especially Kasey. Oy. I think he could tell that Ali wasn’t digging his totally horrifying made-up songs. “Yeah. It’s pretty intense.” Um, sure. If by “intense” you mean “mortifying” or “uncomfortable.” LOVE that Justin called Kasey out! Score one for Rated-R!

This episode was so hard to watch that I gave my husband the remote. Kasey is creepy and the little weatherman is weird.

I was surprised she kept Chris N. – have they ever been seen together?

Kasey is a nutcase – don’t know why she just didn’t let him go (did he ever get to kiss her?) Loved the seagull sounds at the end of his serenade…better than crickets!

Roberto & Chris L – final 2 (unless one of them does something to mess it up!)

All I kept thinking last night was that there was just SO much material for Lincee to work with – can’t wait to read the recap!

I usually refrain from commenting, but last night’s episode had me hiding under a pillow for most of it. What is the deal about Kasey singing horrible songs? Who told him this was a good idea? Especially since he can’t sing. And I won’t even get started about the whole tattoo thing. Any reality show freak knows that’s the kiss of death and a reminder of your abject stupidity for the rest of your life. This season is AWESOME in that “I can’t wait to see more of this dumbassery next week” kind of way.

OMG Can barely contain myself for the recap. I have never laughed as hard as I did last night when Kasey kroaked, er sang and when he was finished silence but for the seagulls cawing.

I actually squealed a few times watching this episode because it was SO uncomfortable – and I don’t do that. Ever. The singing was like watching bad American Idol auditions…and Kasey. Oh Kasey. “Bless your heart” just isn’t enough…
