Bachelorette Emily Recap: Week 6

Last night’s episode had me guessing not once, but twice! I have to say that I love how Emily is bold enough to go against the norm when compared to the 47 previous seasons of this show. She’s real, has a great judge of character and is more than willing to pimp out Disney’s release of “Brave” opening in theaters near you this weekend.

The recap will be up as soon as I finish competing in our office version of the Highland Games. I plan on killing the “how many M&Ms are in this jar?” portion of the competition. May the odds be ever in my favor.

Feel free to check out my Huffington Post mini recap HERE and check back later today for the full recap.

Lincee, as I was sitting there watching last night I couldn’t help but think how cute you and Travis would be together. He seems so genuine and loving. I think he is cute in his own way. JMO!!

On another note, I loved how Ryan commented at the end that he hopes ABC does not shed him in a negative light…hello you DID say all those things. Good luck Ryan finding a “trophy” wife!!

When did Hanes/Fruit of the Loom/Tommy Hilfiger start making little girl undershirts for grown men? Ryan’s “wife beater” t-shirt looked like it belonged to his future trophy wife instead of him. Oh Ryan, you are free now to continue your search for your trophy wife, or attend a wedding with TWO dates as you recently did near Huntsville, AL.

Last night reminded me of one of my favorite movies of all time…Beauty and the Beast . Was Ryan Gaston or what? “Here in town there’s only she, who is beautiful as me, so I’m making plans to woo and marry Emily…

LOL! He’s sooooo Gaston! That’s awesome.

I loved how all the guys hugged and cheered as they took his bags away. I mean, c’mon, that has to say something about the guys character…

Did anyone else Google ‘Croatia and “Highland Games”‘ during the show? I thought there was some connection between the two of which I was not awr but no, nada, nothing. Strange that out of all the cultural things to do in Croatia, they would pick something Scottish.

Ooh, I saw a lot of my current boyfriend in Ryan! I always think of him as confident, quick, and assertive, but after seeing Ryan pull his same moves, I’m smelling a little bit of jerk on my bf.

Green Bean Queen – I googled that too! I was trying to figure out what the connection was between the two. Glad it’s not just my lack of historical/cultural knowledge.

Terri – I was totally scratching my head over Ryan’s tank top. Were those spaghetti straps?

Ryans tank is one of those that male dancers wear usually in black tho. He is such a tool, so glad hes gone that scene was solo painful thinking she might change her mind

Ryan was sooo self absorbed, I was laughing over his list. It’s as though he thought he would say what he wanted so that the girls could start lining up!

Jef and Sean could probably do a much better list…and I think that it would read:

1) Emily

😉

Green Bean Queen and Abbs, the reason they did the Highland games in Croatia was because they had just watched that Pixar movie “Brave”, and continuing the theme of the movie, they did the competetion. You gals don’t lack any cultural/historical knowledge, just go back and watch the scene right after the movie ends and that is what Emily explains to the guys.

On a different note, I am sooooo glad Ryan and his overinflatated ego are gone. That guy is so full of himself, I couldn’t stand him from day one. Loved how the rest of the guys enjoyed seeing his luggage taken away.

Love the chemistry between Arie and Emily, hope the “drama” coming up is not enough to keep her from picking him at the end. Watching them together last night reminded me a lot of Meredith and Ian, my first season of this franchise and what got me hooked forever.

As much as I love a man in a kilt and underarmour, I was thinking the same thing! Are there no manly challenge games in the Croatian culture? Did the intern not get the entry documents for the Scotland part of the trip? WTH???

I was so afraid Ryan was going to talk Emily into letting him stay! But that was probably just the editing. Good for her for not buying his sales pitch. If she’d seen him in that t-shirt it wouldn’t have taken her so long to send him packing.

Ari seems great but he might be a player. LOVE Jef – so sweet and sincere.

Lincee – If you really want to win the Highland Games at work, you will need to BREAK the jar of M&Ms! Go Team Sean!

Ok am I the only one that remembers the preview for this week showing Emily stomping out to OHCH and demanding “tell me who else isn’t here for me!” I can’t be imagining that because I have been trying to figure out who else wasn’t there for Emily. I thought it was Ryan wanting to be the next bachelor, but that never happened. What kind of slick editing was going on?

Also, what the heck was OHCH doing in that alley way? They looked like they got caught doing something naughty.
