Christian Bale + GaGa?

That’s right people. Christian Bale dancing to Lady GaGa’s “Bad Romance.” I doubt I could think of a better post for Crossroads.

Are you unfamiliar with my Crossroads category? They are easy to miss. It’s only once in a blue moon I come across something that is so perfect for what Crossroads is meant to convey…a true marriage of two random entertainers or groups who have little in common, coming together in a moment of pop culture goodness. (See here and here.)

And now we can add this to the list:

When IHGB readers Megan and Betsy both sent me the link, I knew that this category had to been taken to a new level. Not that I’m a huge follower of GaGa, but it TOTALLY WORKS in this clip. And everyone knows you can always count on me to fully support any and all things Newsies and Christian Bale. (See here.)

In case you have no idea what I’m talking about in regards to Newsies

a.) I feel sorry for you and

b.) I give you this original rendition:

Oh 1992. Why were you so good to me?

I honestly don’t know how we are going to be able to top this one in the future. Crossroads may have seen it’s last post.  Feel free to prove me wrong and send in your Crossroads considerations.

Until then, I’m going to be watching Bale again and that adorable guy who looks like AC Slater.

So naturally I set my DVR to record Saturday Night Live.  And let me tell you dear reader…

It wasn’t that bad!

I found myself laughing out loud at his opening monologue.  The Barnes & Noble skit was funny.  His cameo in the digital short was gross but still made me chuckle.  His Scott Brown spoof made me giggle several times.

But this was my favorite by far:

Look at that.  Don Draper and Michael Bubbly.  Together.  Being funny.  I couldn’t ask for more.  I should start a new category since I’ve posted about moments like this here and here.  I shall call it “Lincee’s Crossroads.”

Of course, I welcome any Crossroads suggestions to be considered for future posts.  I’ve already sent Our Host Chris Harrison a request to video himself drinking a Dr Pepper.

Fingers crossed!
