Support the Cure for Breast Cancer

I am submitting this post for a friend of mine.  Lincee was kind enough to let me use her site to try and reach all you good people out there.

Support the cure for breast cancer by purchasing one of these t-shirts or recyclable tote bags! The Breast Cancer 3-Day – Sassy Senoritas team in Dallas has been given the challenge of raising $2,200/person to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. In addition to fundraising, The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days! Please support us as we take this amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer. Every dollar over the costs of these t-shirts and totes will go toward this fundraising. We thank you in advance for your purchase. For more information about the Breast Cancer 3-Day, the Sassy Senoritas, or to make a donation, please go here.

Urgent Message!

Only 50% of you are going to get this message. The other 50% will get a message about the site being unavailable. There is a very serious issue with the web host for this site, Lunar Pages. They informed us today that this site was utilizing too many resources, and therefore they took Lincee’s site down and moved it to a “temporary” server, which works for some people, but not others. For example, I can pull the site up to view (and post this), but Lincee cannot.

The level of B.S. that Lunar Pages has demonstrated in this instance is unacceptable and unethical, on more levels than my brain can handle. No notice befor yanking and then horrendous customer service after the fact will ensure that I never host another site with this company, abuse them in every forum I can find, and hopefully anyone reading this will find another solution for their blogs or inform their friends never to use Lunar Pages.

What this means to you and when can you expect the recap? Good question. I am working frantically to move everything to a REAL host and to get that set-up ASAP. I assure you it will be up and running within the next couple of days, so please keep checking back.

So sorry for the terrible timing. This is 100% my fault for making a terrible hosting decision when I made this site. I take full responsibility, so please do not fault Lincee.

So sorry.

Header is Fixed

As most of you know, there hasn’t been a way to get to the home page from anywhere on the site.  Normally you just click the heading/site logo area and all is well.  That issue has been resolved, so now just click the header and you can get back to the home page.

I also corrected the other suggestions.  Please keep any site improvements coming.

The Hills Won!

Ladies and germs, the poll has been closed for the second show voting.  Congratulations to “The Hills” as the next show Lincee will write a recap on.  As you know, “The Hills” comes on the same night as “The Bachelor,” and we don’t want to stifle Lincee’s writing prowess for either show, so the schedule will be a recap of “The Bachelor” on Tuesday and Thursday will be the new BETA recap of “The Hills” starting a week from today (so set your DVR!)

I’d like to also thank everyone for voting for this second show.  Insane that over 4,000 of you voted.  Additionally, thanks for all the support on the ABC fan website voting!  Way to have some influence!!  So many nice comments on it.  Lincee was very touched by all of them, I assure you, so thanks again.

Of course this means I need to add more interactive stuff to the website to appease you lunatics, so stay tuned for that.

Last, you will note I added a “contact me” button on the right hand navigation of the page for contacting Lincee.  I mostly added it for when/if ABC contacts her, but if you have something important to say, this would be your method.  The comments section should still be for everything, as this is a community, but just in case.
