New Girl
IHGB reader Sara recently sent me an email with a suggestion for a post. She asked me, “What is your opinion on the Fall TV lineup? What are you watching?”
I’m glad you asked Sara! Once I sat down with my DVR and assessed the evidence, I had several thoughts.
1. There’s a guy who visits me on Monday nights who will soon be making an appearance in the Hall of Fame. Any guesses?
2. With that said, Damon Salvatore is still my number one TV love.
3. Modern Family can not go wrong in my book. Best 30 minute show by far.
4. But this one is slowly surprising me every week.
I totally get Jess. From “We should all have nicknames!” to the fake teeth. Zoey Deschanel is my kind of girl!
To list all the other shows that have permanent placement on my DVR would be silly. But this is my blog and I can do what I want. I’m also enjoying How I Met Your Mother, The Sing Off, Community, Parks and Recreation and Chuck.
Let me know what you think I’m missing. Go ahead and refrain from anything that has to do with a Real Housewife of Wherever or those Jersey Shore kids. I have never, nor will I ever, succumb to such ridiculousness. I know what you’re thinking. “Lincee. The Bachelor is about as ridiculous as it gets. What’s the difference?”

Have you watched Once Upon A Time? I think that might be my fave new show.
I, too, LOVE Modern Family. I do think it’s the best 30 minutes on TV. A close second for me is The Middle with Patricia Heaton. A big thumbs-up. 🙂
Oh! Oh! Is the new Hall of Famer Alex O’Loughlin from Hawaii Five-O??? Mmmm… abs. Love that show, and Castle is always a hit for me on Monday nights.
I am also loving my guilty pleasure shows this year – Nikita and Revenge. Not sure how I got roped into Revenge, but it’ll hook you.
I love Modern Family too, and Suburgatory! And Once Upon A Time, and Grimm. Clearly I watch too much tv…
Oh yeah, Hart of Dixie is another guilty pleasure one for me. And here I was thinking I was too old for the CW.
I don’t get to watch much tv outside of Nick Jr but I do love Modern Family on the DVR. My new favorite show is Pan Am and I will be VERY sad if it gets cancelled.

Your Monday night man HAS to be George Tucker on Hart of Dixie, i.e., the former Jason Street from FNL. Or it could be Lavon Hays from Hart of Dixie, also formerly of FNL. Or it could be Wade from Hart of Dixie…the CW is full of hotties on Monday night. Or Rick Castle. Or…I could go on and on and on…
REVENGE!!!!! By far the one that I’m the most captivated with this season (of the new shows).
I am the one who sent Lincee the suggestion…I LOVE Revenge…I read in Entertainment Weekly it is the new Dynasty (You children of the 80’s know you love it!) I also live for Parenthood and the Good Wife!

I am with you. I am so above the ridiculousness of the Housewives craze, but I am not at all above The Bachelor.

I’m also enjoying Revenge. And have just been informed that I have to start watching Once Upon a Time but I haven’t done it yet. 😉
Revenge, Ringer, Hawaii 5-0, NCIS, Castle, Grey’s (still) …. and best of all: The Good Wife.

Heat of Dixie is a good ole southern charm type of show. I like it, but I don’t know that it will last very long. Lemon I could do without a little though.
Lincee, I’m so with you on the Housewives and Jersey who characters. Who cares???
