IHGB Podcast #138: 2019 Hallmark Christmas Movies Preview

It’s the most wonderful time of year! It’s the time when Stephanie and I get together on Halloween to celebrate Christmas!

Thanks to Hallmark’s addition of 40 brand new holiday movies, the channel has decided to bust out the yuletide cheer in October. How else are we supposed to watch all the forlorn women wandering around the Christmas tree lot in winter white coats fall in love with the ruggedly handsome guys in red and black buffalo check jackets?

It just makes sense.

Although Stephanie and I base our recommendations on three sentence synopses and a cast roster we located on the website (CLICK HERE) and the Hallmark Christmas channel app (which you should download), it’s clear that the suits in the front office tossed some cash at this year’s selections

How do I know?

We go to ROME!
We go to New York!
We go Graceland (again)!
We go to Dollywood!

Fingers crossed that it’s a hard candy Christmas.

Loving everything about this except for y’all not knowing who my boy Niall Matter is – he’s in 2 of my favorite non-Hallmark movies ever – Lifetime’s Christmas Pen Pals and then one called Falling For Christmas (which you can watch for free on Amazon Prime). His blue eyes will captivate you I promise. Otherwise, carry on!

Thank you for that great recommendation. I just watched this movie and I loved it!

You inspired me to start watching Hallmark Christmas movies tonight.
I’m dying to know what is your favorite Hallmark Christmas movie to date? I need to make sure I watch it!

Well, I hope that the newest Graceland installment doesn’t have Kellie Pickler singing Silent Night 300 times.

This episode was so hilarious! I was laughing out loud so much! I love when you have Some Guy in Austin on, and now I’ll be excited for the next time you have Stephanie on. The two of you together are so funny!

I love this episode. I had to listen again so I can streamline all the movies I have on my DVR. Time is running out! (My TV service expires 12/28).

Poor Kellie Pickler. I love her, but she is not a good actress. But yes, I watched anyway!
