IHGB Podcast #161: Kenny Rogers
We lost an incredible entertainer this week. As Some Guy in Austin and I discuss, Kenny Rogers decorated our lives with music. He was a walking example of what excellent hair follicles look like and he knew how to grow a luscious beard.
But above all, he taught us that knowing when to hold ’em and knowing when to fold ’em is a lesson we must all put into practice.
May he rest in peace.

Awesome podcast with you and SGIA!
You brought back so many memories with me growing up with my mom listening to Kenny via 8-track tape. lol.
Yes, Yes. Great song, among many: You Decorated My Life. ” I loved Kenny’s “Lady” version. Every Christmas since 1988 , my family plays the Dolly and Kenny Christmas album. The best ever!
Too bad Kenny went for the plastic surgery. I still loved his music and may he R.I.P. I had no idea he was Texan born. Makes me like him even more.
Well done to you and Some Guy. lmao on the pineapple endorsement.
Very interesting Kenny tidbits I learned from you.
