Nice title, huh? I’m going to ask you to embrace this smorgasbord post, because the Offshore Technology Conference (read: my own person NIGHTMARE) is upon us and all I seem to do is work, work, work lately. If I don’t smorgasbord, you’ll probably hear crickets when you check IHGB on your browser and we can’t have that.

So, apparently this is happening:
I’m not sure how I feel about it. Part of me thinks it makes sense and they are perfect for each other! Part of me thinks that it’s the worst idea ever because they both have “this is how it is” personalities. Of course, that might be a match made in heaven and I’m a sucker for all these crazy Bachelor kids actually finding love, even if it is on a random Fleiss-sponsored “show reunion” cruise ship out in the middle of Fill In The Blank Body Of Water.

A WEDDING
As most of you know, my friend Some Guy in Austin married Some Gal in Austin this past weekend. I’m working on a story to describe the sweet ceremony that I’ll post later. It involves my dress flying up like Marilyn Monroe, confusing Some Guy with his twin brother and a John Travolta interpretation on the dance floor. I know. IT WAS EPIC.
PS: They are a beautiful couple.

As I mentioned before, this time of year is crazy busy for me. I have a tendency to find sanctuary in the most random of places during my lunch break. Typically, my go-to place is Target. A few weeks ago, I decided I needed to reel in my “need” to visit Target multiple times a week. It was becoming sort of a problem that was headed to a place where friends would have to perform an intervention. I simply don’t have time for that.
So I went to Wal-Mart instead.
Not only did I score a ton of Easter candy on sale 70-percent off, but I found this:
COME ON!!! George Michael and The Other Guy From Wham for the miniscule price of $5? YES PLEASE!

Lincee, I heard the news about AshLee and Brad on the radio and immediately went to your facebook page. Someone had beat me to it. I like the two together. Two very beautiful people, that deserve love. In reality these two will be a great match. Will they be forever? Maybe, maybe not, but everyone deserves a little love…
Oh, and I love all things Wham, George Michael, and 80’s.
I had seen the picture of Brad and AshLee on line and thought about you. Who knows? It may work.

So happy about DP’s wedding. I met Mrs. Someguy when they were in town last year and had a couple of beers with them before the rodeo. She is lovely and they make an awesome couple.

I don’t think Brad and Ashlee will work; he is attractive, a known player who is in the bar business and is a commitment-phoebe. Ashlee is attractive but has too many personal issues and falls in love too quickly. They will crash and burn quickly, I predict. I think his best chance was with Emily and that didn’t work out.
HA! OTC! I just finished production on the April AOGR & OTC program which you’ll see there. 🙂 But not me, they don’t want me selling anything…
