RIP Rosie

Poor Rosie.  She never saw that big hippie van coming.  Even if Mary Ann hadn’t been looking down while rolling a joint, I don’t think Rosie had a chance.

I’m working on a deadline.  Recap coming up probably later this afternoon.

So much to think about…so little time.tombstone-clipart

Can’t wait for your recap! Naomi’s family was crazy with her mom and the dead dove and her dad and his religious beliefs. Whoa! I’m glad Jason said goodbye to Naomi. It was time for her and her bangs to go!

Loved the slot machines downstairs at Naomi’s! I just read Chris Harrison’s blog and apparently Naomi’s mother believes she’s a reincarnation of Joan of Arc…LOVE IT!

And I thought I had the world’s wackiest family — the Wentz/Simpson spawn has me beat. I am not an especially religious person but the conversation between Bangs and her father was a bit creepy. I thought Jason was going to bolt any second.

Molly and the Country Club Stepford ‘rents gave me the willies. Melissa’s mugging and less-than-candid behavior took her out of the running for me — let’s face it, she knew her folks weren’t going to meet J-man, long before his plane arrived! And the guy friend repeating over and over that she doesn’t choose well, isn’t treated well, etc. — first, what’s the deal? Is she doing Date-a-Convict? And c’mon — what’s it say about her level of maturity if she 1) constantly chooses badly, and 2) is rather free with her physical nature, but doesn’t have self-confidence? Is this the sort of woman Jason wants for himself and Ty?

While I am a bit queasy about Jillian (and it’s not just the affected accent), overall I felt the best about her meet-the-parents date — at least she didn’t feel compelled to give him “proper clothing” (ala Molly) and didn’t have him orate at a funeral for a dove specially kept in the frig just for the occasion!

I have a few deadlines of my own today, but keep checking to see if Lincee has posted her recap. I know she will have plenty to comment on.

Is it me or did anyone notice that DD looked a little pregnant or something in that outfit she had on. She must have really laid some heavy-duty stuff on him to ball like a baby on national TV.

Okay…. “J” acted like a kid in a candy store with all the mega kissing! Get it while you can, dude! Gawl!!!! Team Jillian, for sure! She reminded me of a young Debra Winger- husky voice and all. Melissa’s freaky facial expressions are painful to watch, ya’ll! She just doesn’t seem ready to be a wife and most of all a mom!

Looking forward to the review, “L”.

I loved Jason’s comment to DD in next week’s previews…”so what brings you to NEW ZEALAND?!?!” ABC did so she can stir up some drama! it made my heart hurt to see him crying like that! By the way, in my latest US magazine it has DD dating Ace from the Real World. Jessie is dating a girl from the “London Calling” Bachelor season.

Sorry, one more thing I wanted to add… just because Melissa has been “unlucky in love,” dated losers, etc should NOT be a reason for Jason to want to pick her. I got so sick of hearing that. Also, it’s weird that her closest friends of many years don’t know her parents and that she never talks about them. I live 2,000 miles away from my parents and my closest friends all know them and I talk about my family all the time. I think Melissa is flying a HUGE red flag…

I don’t think it’s at all wierd that Melissa’s friends don’t know her family. As much as I love my family, I don’t take many of my friends home to meet them, and we all live in the same city. My childhood friends know my parents, but I haven’t remained friends with very many of my childhood friends. I also think my family would opt-out of appearing on a silly reality show.

I missed the rose ceremony last night — I fell asleep…..GRRRR!!! I had to log on this morning before my 5:45am Jazzercise class so I could see who was sent home (like it wasn’t obvious).

I’m still on Team Melissa!

Dear Lincee,

I know a girl’s gotta pay the rent and all, but this Real Job thing you have is totally getting in the way of your recaps. OHCH had posted by 8 am this morning, and his blog is only a fraction of what you bring. In all fairness, he probably got a head start….

I think you should rally your posse to put you on the ABC payroll so you don’t have to hold down this Real Job Gig while you single handedly triple the ratings for the Bachelor/Bachelorette series.

OHCH, are you paying attention out there????
