Slink’s Links

Lincee Ray | I Hate Green Beans

It’s been one of those weeks, my friends. You know the ones where you just can’t seem to get your head above water? You do?! I’m so glad I’m not alone! Thankfully, I am in the home stretch, and will be celebrating a full week of writing (yay!) and OTC prep (boo) with Elton John tonight.

That’s right people. Lincee’s Musical Bucket List is about to get a HUGE check! While I dig around in my closet for my feather boa and wacky sunglasses, y’all feel free to check out these fun links.

Well—this one isn’t so much fun, as necessary. If you’re interested in donating to Nepal, HERE is the link for the Red Cross.

Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner. It’s important to prepare yourself.

In case you didn’t know it, I am sort of obsessed with all things Outlander. Here’s a fun article about the woman who is in charge of all those kilts. Lucky lady.

Chris Pratt and Jimmy Fallon lip syncing the wrong lyrics to popular songs. Enough said.

You should read Jon Acuff’s new book Do Over if you are considering a career change. Also, he quoted a Friends episode on page 62. Because of this fact, he is now my favorite author. But I couldn’t say that in my AP review. I can say it here though. This is a safe place. PIVOT!

I have to say, my CBS.com Reality Remix scripts are actually making it to film instead of the bulk ending up on the editing room floor! I’m learning so much for this process. This is week 3 and I’m super proud of it.

I was asked to make a case for Reese Witherspoon as to why she was a force to be reckoned with in the ’90s. Can you say “ammonium thioglycolate?” My fellow writers wrote about Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan and Sandra Bullock. You can vote HERE for your favorite movie sweetheart.

I also submitted Bluebell, Alabama as one of the best fictional places to live. Mostly because hot guys seem to flock there to woo the female citizens. Check out this article from my fellow EW writers. This article is one of my favorites!

It was the mother of all episodes on last night’s Big Bang Theory.

We’re clearly gearing up to say goodbye to Coach on New Girl.

I still say Undateable is one of the best comedies on television!

You had me at “ammonium thioglycolates”. Love. That. Movie! “I got bangs, my hair’s so now!”

“And if you were not washing your hair, as I suspect you were not, because your curls are still intact….”
