Slink’s Links

I’m going to do things a little differently this week. Instead of links, I’m going to share some trailers for the movies I’m anticipating in the next few months. I understand most of the options look like they would be on a 12-year-old boy’s list. I refuse to apologize. I love a heart pounding romance/love story and since Hollywood shoots one of those every couple of years or so, I’m left with the “good verses evil” trope. Give me a superhero any day of the week and I’ll cheer as he defeats his arch nemesis.

Of course, all of that goes out the window if the new Nicholas Sparks is playing or Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock decide to reinvent the nineties versions of themselves so we the people can fall in love with them all over again.

Is that too much to ask?

King Arthur
Why I chose this one:
Charlie Hunnam

LEGO Batman Movie
Why I chose this one:
Batman stole the show (in a good way) during the original LEGO Movie.

Gifted
Why I chose this one:
It made me cry. Also, Chris Evans.

Table 19
Why I chose this one:
Anna Kendrick is my spirit animal. PS: It sort of looks like a romance.

Spider-Man Homecoming
Why I chose this one:
Spider-Man is my favorite superhero. Okay, Iron Man and Spider-Man are my favorite superheroes. And they are both in this clip!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Why I chose this one:
Baby Groot is my jam. Oh wait, Star Lord is my favorite superhero. Forget what I said up there. The ranking is: Star Lord, Spider-Man, Iron Man.

Justice League
Why I chose this one:
I love the Flash! Okay, this is getting ridiculous. New, new list: Star Lord, Spider-Man, Flash, Iron Man. Let the record show that I have no history with Aquaman, other than what I learned on The Big Bang Theory. The guys thinking he is the “Scooter” when the Justice League is compared to the Muppet Babies. I’ll let you know what I think later this year!

Speaking of Anna Kendrick, have you read her book, “Scrappy Little Nobody”? I just finished reading it – it gives you some very good insight into who she is. If you like her, I think you’d really enjoy it too!

Those all look so good! I’m a huge fan of The Flash on the CW (because I’m a 15 year old girl on the inside, and watch everything on the CW) so it was a little weird to see him on the Justice League, but I guess we’re supposed to treat them as two separate entities?
I met Chris Evans at ComicCon in Salt Lake City once. He is as good looking as you think he is.

Can’t wait to see Table 19 and of course Beauty in the Beast which is surprising missing from your list. I was not familiar with Th e Gifted , but that looks good too.

I am watch Super girl on tv and have been watching Flash on Netflix the tv series. I love it. Have eto watch the Arrow next. Someone told me they are having a musical one where the three of them are all in the same show. I think it’s just like one episode but I don’t know.
