A big THANK YOU to everyone who commented on our second Beaner Book List. I will include a button on the left side of the website so you can easily find this post in the future. We have some LEGIT readers in this community! I’m so excited to share the compilation with you.

HERE is the link to the original list.

Below is our volume 2 list. I’ve categorized them by book title and then again by author. Please note that if you see an asterisk, that means the book was mentioned multiple times. If you see a diamond, that means the book was on the original list.

Does anyone know of a website where books are rated by language and sexual content? I love to read and listen to books on cd in my car but I’m having a hard time finding things that don’t make me feel uncomfortable. Why do the really good ones have to have explicit language and sex scenes? Anywho…suggestions? Thanks.

Barrett- check out the website Common Sense Media. It’s actually geared towards parents, but it’s a good place to start. Not all titles are included, but it will be really helpful for those that are.

You should add “The Light Between Oceans” by M. L. Stedman to your list – that book was fantastic! My favorite read of all of last year.
I love many of your other selections too! Just finished “The Nightingale” and it is my favorite book so far this year! 🙂
