Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
Have you guys seen this? I absolutely adore Neil Patrick Harris and when I heard of this blog, I was immediately sucked in to its wit and humor. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is a 43-minute tragicomic musical, produced exclusively for Internet distribution. It tells the story of Dr. Horrible, an aspiring super villain, Captain Hammer, his nemesis, and Penny, their mutual love interest. The movie was written by writer/director Joss Whedon and his brothers. It was penned during the WGA writers’ strike.
And it’s awesome. So many one-liners…so little time.

Two things before I leave you with Dr. Horrible and his horribleness:
1. Neil Patrick Harris (the original blogger in his Doogie Howser days) is precious and super talented.
2. Nathan Fillion is hot.

I have been completely addicted to Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog for the past two weeks and can NOT wait for the soundtrack to be released.
NPH stole my heart years ago…his performance is brilliant!

Nothing wrong with Doogie, but I feel we should give credit where credit is due….
I was drawn to this hilariously fantastic little afternoon diversion by — Joss Whedon! Joss is the writer/creator behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Firefly among others. He is a comic and dramatic genious. Ever seen Buffy the Musical? Joss wrote the entire script AND musical score behind it. Any Buffy fans will recognize Joss at work here. Although, NPH does a great job too. 🙂
Thanks for sharing that! I had heard about it but blew it off ,but once I knew it was recommended by the great Lincee I knew I had to take a peek. Enjoyed it a lot. The weird thing is that very night my brother sent me a link in an email to watch it. Great minds I guess.
Just got to watch this last night. Loved it! The songs were excellent!
