IHGB #172: Wedding Movies
In this episode, Stephanie and I discuss our favorite wedding movies. Now I must disclaim that this list BY NO MEANS is a complete list of our favorites. It was very hard to narrow down, but we did our best.
What makes a good wedding movie? I’m glad you asked.
You need an anxious father.
A hired boyfriend.
A best friend who is like Jell-O.
Seven new brides in gingham dresses.
A handful of brown M&Ms.
And of course, James Marsden.

Lincee!! I so needed this podcast today!!! Fun, Fun, Fun!! One of my favorites of all time is the Wedding Date!! I loved when he said to her, “
The Wedding date was so good! thanks for the picture. And the ending was so sweet. I am pretty picky about romantic movies and consider this one a classic.
Lincee- I grew up watching Seven Brides! I absolutely love the barn raising scene. The abduction sequence was also hilarious. Thank you for reminding me of that gem!
I love 7 Brides for 7 Brothers too! I loved your reenactment!!
Loved the Bennie and The Jets scene and at the end when they all wore the dresses.
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is an absolute favorite of mine. So glad it received recognition in Pop Culture. It’s a classic that should be enjoyed. Your telling was great!!
