Y’all, we have SO much to talk about with The Bachelor AND Bachelor Winter Games.
But first, I want to thank everyone who came out to the book launch on Monday. I had a fabulous time meeting people and signing books! I apologize to those who were expecting a recap yesterday. I just couldn’t make it happen.
However, The Bachelor was playing at the party. It was a DOOZIE!
Some Guy in Austin and I start with the abysmal Bachelor Winter Games. Three words: Glitter Bomb Dud.

Bachelor Winter Games? HATED IT. It. Was. AWFUL. So painfully, obviously scripted and fake. And that “parade?” Seriously? There were what? 24, 25 people out there? Painful. Painful watching washed up has-been Z-Listers trying desperately to remain relevant. And making it international? Not interesting, SAD.
Hated all the things you mentioned, hated the games (BOR-ing!) and super hated the way they decided to send people home.
I was going to watch this on the ABC app but it sounds like I shouldn’t waste my time.
Are you going to do a recap now?

Ok, so I don’t watch The Bachelor/Bachelor Winter Games, but I had to look up the beard. Unless the picture I saw was just a fluke, I have to disagree with you! Based on the (one) picture I saw, I think he looks SO good with a beard!
My husband said Arie had to go fart when he left Lauren at the table. I agree with your description of Lauren, not sure what is going on there. I’m sorry Sienne left, I liked her a lot better than the blonde. Love your podcasts, Love SomeGuy, congratulations on your book release! Long time reader of your site.

That’s hilarious. That would explain the total randomness of him getting up at that moment…I’m assuming that was a producer-induced act for dramatic effect. Give it up, Mike Fleiss!
Congratulations on the book launch Lincee! As for Monday nights episode of The Bachelor, I was so not impressed with Tia. Although she tried to deny it, she threw Baby B under the bus and then couldn’t even fake compassion when B started to cry. I must say B even looks cute when she cries. 🙂
All I could think of was Rizzo singing “There are worse things I could do, than go with a boy or two”
Regarding Arie walking out when Lauren said she was falling for him. I really think he had planned to let her go during the dinner… “I’m sorry but because I can’t get a single syllable out of you, I can’t give you this rose” but then she dropped the “I’m falling in love with you” shocker on him. I think he left to talk to the producers, and my take on him pacing around outside was he was either waiting for an answer or trying to figure out who would be in the van in her place. The crack team of editors on the show made it look even worse than it already was.
It was so awkward!!!! I figured he went to cry because he couldn’t believe she liked him much less love him. He was so into her and guessing he thought she just wasn’t that into him. Can’t imagine being with someone who I can’t have a conversation with.

One more thing, Lincee did you see Baby Bekah was on Jimmy Kimmel and she said when she signed up to be on the bachelor, she was hoping the bachelor would be Peter from Rachel’s season? Tsk tsk!
The Canadian that Bibiana and Ashley I-Lashes love is KEVIN!! Not to be confused with everyone’s FAVORITE Kevin–MY Dog!
I’m Canadian and didn’t like Kevin (not your Dog of course!) when he was on the Canadian Bachelorette. He was the chosen one and he and Bachelorette Jasmine broke up a few months after their engagement. His mother was frightening as hell so it wasn’t surprising they broke up!!
I think that Arie had to go ask the Producers if he was allowed to tell Lauren that he loved her.
They don’t ever say they love them until the finale.

Bachelor Winter games is bad/annoying. My question for ABC Network – is there no budget for closed captioning in languages other than English? We heard a speech in French and German and HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WAS SAID!
