Two special Bachelor announcements

SPECIAL NEWS
Baby Max is about to get a little brother or sister y’all! Trista is preggers:

‘Bachelorette’ couple Trista and Ryan Sutter expecting second child
By John Bracchitta, 10/14/2008

The Bachelorette couple Trista and Ryan Sutter have announced that they are expecting their second child.

“I was in total shock! I took a few tests, and they all came back negative,” Trista told Life & Style Weekly magazine in a cover story interview that will hit newsstands tomorrow. “But a few weeks after Max’s first birthday, all of a sudden I thought to myself, I don’t think I’ve had my period in a while. So I took another test — the line was extremely faint, but it was there!”

That’s special. Now tell me Trista…was it really necessary to tell us that you hadn’t had your period in a while?

SPECIAL NEWS…THE PHOTO EDITION:

Can you sense the specialness of this picture? Lord help me if ABC airs the Pappas/Snow Boarder wedding at Disneyland during May sweeps. I can see it now…

DD arrives in Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage wearing Belle’s finale costume from the Beauty and the Beast stage show. Chip and Dale escort her to the castle where she is greeted by her bridesmaids—Pocahontas, Arial and her sister who is still babbling about how DD’s heart is not broke anymore because this is the happiest day of her life in the happiest place on earth.

The doors open and Alice bounces down the aisle tossing flower petals. It’s a little annoying that she keeps asking if anyone has seen the White Rabbit, but the guests don’t seem to mind. The music swells and “When You Wish Upon a Star” issues forth in majestic gusto. Jesse is standing up front with his best man Mickey Mouse. The groomsmen, Buzz Lightyear and Peter Pan, are clearly in awe of DD’s beauty.

Mr. Pappas loses it in front of the entire Magic Kingdom because his beloved daughter is about to tie the knot with riff-raff. Walt Disney Company President Bob Iger offers Mr. Pappas a tissue and secretly smirks at the events that are unfolding before him. Who knew that THIS is how the story would end when an angry man came bursting in his office just a year ago threatening “LAW SUIT” as he demanded that ABC fix his little girl’s broken heart.

A subtle nod from Our Host Reverend Chris Harrison, and the crowd takes their seats. For the next three hours, these two crazy kids get hitched. There’s a dramatic reading by Mary Poppins with a moving serenade by Timon and Pumbaa. It was touch-and-go when the evil Brad Womack arrived and attempted to put a spell on DDAHnna. Something about pricking her finger or biting an apple, but luckily DOJO was in the audience and Cobra Kai’d his butt back to the dark side.

After vows and “I do’s,” Harrison pronounces them husband and wife. They kiss! Fireworks ignite! Everyone hustles over to It’s a Small World to pose for a family portrait with the little kids from Greece.

OPAH!

Lincee, Thanks for the first thing in the am laugh. You are truly a talented gal…and the part Mr. Disney CEO plays in the scenerio is priceless. You need to venture into screenwriting. Hope you are feeling better.

Look at DD trying to hide Jesse’s watching and failing. That is one big watch, y’all.

This post made my day — it was a riot!

Thanks for the sunshine on an otherwise dreary day.

I feel like Jesse looks the same in every photo of him and DD. Like here, I feel he was just photoshopped into the Disney World background. They put a Mickey hat on him and boom! Convincing DD-and-Jesse-in-love photo.

DD, on the other hand, is totally in Disney World with the obscene white Mickey hat with veil. Tooootally.

Trista & Ryan were on the radio in Milwaukee this morning – I work about 2 minutes from the station & was tempted to go stalk them in the parking lot, but as it turned out, they weren’t at the station. I heard about 10 minutes of the interview, and Ryan spoke about 2 sentences, and it was only when the DJs directly asked him something. They were schilling for Hyatt Hotels – I guess you can win a trip to Huntington Beach with them. Bottom line is she sounded like Minnie Mouse & monopolized the interview, & he sounded pretty unintelligent.

Does a large watch mean something else is also large? I’m just asking.
Great blog, can’t wait for the season to start so I can read the recaps.
